How long have you been playing on Aurora?: Two years, though I barely played for one.
Why do you wish to be on the whitelist?: I don't know if it's because of when I play, but a good like 75% of the rounds I'm in don't have a CMO. I'd really like to fill in that role.
Why did you come to Aurora?: I got kind of tired of the dumb shit that happens on LRP servers, so I wanted to try out something less chaotic.
Have you read the Aurora wiki on the head roles and qualifications you plan on playing?: Yep.
Have you received any administrative actions? And how serious were they? 
Only really notable thing was from a while back where I got tempbanned from sec for poor escalation.

Give a definition of what you think roleplay is, and should be about:
Roleplay is creating a fictional character based off of a fictional setting, and interacting with characters made by others to create interesting stories.

What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?: To perpetrate roleplay, and to generally make sure the round is going smoothly for their department

What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?:
Whitelisted players are supposed to be an example for other players to follow roleplay-wise, and should also be well experienced and knowledgeable of the department's mechanics-- enough so that they are able to teach anyone new.

Could you give us the gist of what is currently happening in Tau ceti and how it affected your character and their career?
Tau ceti is kind of like space America. People from lightyears away immigrate there, hoping for a fresh start. Because of how there's people from almost anywhere here, most events going on anywhere have some effect on Tau ceti. For example, the recent armistice on Adhomai, or the mass emigration of the Autakh.

What roles do you plan on playing after the application is accepted?
CMO. I'm not really experienced enough to be a head in any other department.

Li Xiang- CMO

How would you rate your own roleplaying?: 7/10. My characters aren't anything neccicarily special, but I feel like my RP is pretty solid.

Do you understand your whitelist is not permanent, and may be stripped following continuous administrative action?
Yep.
Have you familiarized yourself with the wiki pages for the command roles?
For CMO, yes.

mwhit is one of those players that just... Plays the game. And I think that's a good thing. I've hardly had issues with them on an OOC front, and as one of the first people I encountered when I first joined the server, it was nice to interact with someone who was just... A normal person. A qualified doctor, and a quietly interesting person without neccecarily requiring the spotlight at all times or fighting for it as I've seen others. They are a genuinely intelligent, quality person, who I think would be more than able to handle a command whitelist. A big +1 from me.

My biggest, BIGGEST gripe with Command Members is that they sometimes will put a hard stop on any kind of gimmick or shenanigans without giving it a chance.

Mwhit does no such thing. 

The last round I just played with them Game ID: b5h-dpkw as their CMO was fantastic! We had ghosts flying around Medical and he actually contributed to the gimmick, allowing personnel to freak out a bit before grabbing the reins and and reeling it in with proper escalation and fun. I'm incredibly impressed and look forward to playing with your CMO again.

Also, the clean up crew was probably alarmed at the poor monkey in the isolation chamber in psychiatry, LMAO.

I'd say expand on the character more, but that's likely something that'll come with time. Enjoying having them as CMO thus far.
