BurgerBB Posted February 9, 2020 Posted February 9, 2020 The gist of it is this: A gamemode won't be allowed to start if there aren't enough antagonists per player. For example, Take vampire. it only has a requirement of 1 fucking Vampire to start. If there is at least 1 vampire, it will start it regardless of antag pop. The PR I am making will prevent that by forcing it so that if There isn't 1 vampire per x (let's say 10) additional people past the initial player requirement (2) PLUS the initial antagonist requirement, then it won't start. So if there is 30 players, and one vampire, it won't start. Vampire at 30 people will need 3 vampires to start.

Indiana Cooper Posted February 9, 2020 Posted February 9, 2020 I don't know about this as a requirement, but having been on the receiving end of being new to an antag role and having to ahelp the shit out of mistakes on several occasions, It would be nice to see some scaling. Because carrying the antag side for an entire round of higher pop by yourself is intimidating af to me. That said, I am fairly newb and unrobust, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

To where they get more men based on station-pop, but if there wasn't enough with the role enabled then they'd still start the mode - albeit with less men. Basically what this does is make it so that if they can't find any additional players when they should have more men, then it won't start at all.

I think it'd be better to have antags scale by playercount, thus your implementation would be better than mine. Rude?
