WickedCybs Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 (edited) So, we've all done it, probably. Got a patient who tangoed with slimes, significant genetic damage. Into the cell they go! Now you wait for a few minutes, take them out, scan, put them back in because of course they still have genetic damage left. It'd be easier if the cell itself just told you what the genetic damage level was at right? It'd be a nice QOL change to stop the back and forth and also help the patient on the other end not get their hopes dashed when they need to be put in the tube again. Maybe if we wanted to go the extra mile it could give a more detailed health readout, though mainly genetic damage would be useful. Edited January 13, 2021 by WickedCybs didnt spell a thing right
Sheeplets Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 Yes please. We had this before and I don't understand why it was ever removed. The cryo tubes are meant for either stabilization or rapid recovery, right? Except as they stand now they're horrible at both of these things on account of the fact that you can't monitor your patient when they're inside. I have more confidence in a zip-up plastic stasis baggie than the specialized, million credit cryogenics setup.
Faye <3 Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 This, a million times this. It's incredibly awkward OOC'ly too because you know you're keeping this person who just wants to go back to their round back into the cryo tube over and over again.
Carver Posted January 12, 2021 Posted January 12, 2021 Agreed. I don't have much else to say, more QoL is always a good thing.
Scheveningen Posted January 12, 2021 Posted January 12, 2021 Would be nice to see this again. I am unsure as to why this was initially removed.
