Sparky_hotdog Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 (edited) So this is sort of a compilation of tweaks and changes suggested for roller beds on the suggestion forums that I've taken on. Below is what I have currently completed, however if there's anything new/that I've missed that folk would like to see, suggestions would be appreciated. Roller Bed Resprite: Brought up here. The concept being to make the beds easier to see and click. Currently this is what I have (criticism appreciated, spriting is not exactly my strongest skill): Spoiler Move Bed IV: This was also brought up in the above thread, as well as every time anyone with a medhud has tried to check a bed IV. Moved the IV to the left of the bed now. Spoiler Buckle Body Bags: Brought up here. The concept being that body bags aren't dragged around on the floor IRL and, with the new slow down, are currently a hassle to move around. Spoiler Edit: Added a few more images. Edit 2: Smaller Beds: Suggested below, makes the collapsed item normal sized, allowing them to be put in bags. I was initially worried about the balance of this, but having seen that other servers also have this, it is now in. QoL - It will budge: QoL I realised when testing. Basically if you try to pull the patient rather than the roller, you will now try to pull the roller rather than being told no. Pull Request here. Edited February 7, 2021 by Sparky_hotdog
DriedMilk Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 Roller beds being normal-sized would help A LOT with EMT and recovery gameplay, as it would be massive QoL. Although when I previously doing this myself in dchat, I was informed by a staff member/developer that a solution for that was coming soon.
VisVirific Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 This looks really, really solid and I also like how the roller beds look. Thank you for moving the IV as well. I'm very excited for these tweaks to be merged.
KingOfThePing Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 Yeah baby that's what I've been waiting for, that's what it's all about
Faye <3 Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 these are good. messing w/the current rollers suck
WickedCybs Posted February 7, 2021 Posted February 7, 2021 It looks good king. The roller beds at the moment are honestly sometimes hard to notice and click on, on the ground and such as well when in the more lighter locations like medical. Rest of the changes are good too.
Zelmana Posted February 8, 2021 Posted February 8, 2021 Anything to avoid dragging bodybags through the halls.
