How long have you been playing on Aurora?:

Around two years now.

Have you received any administrative actions? And how serious were they?:

Most serious i have is one warning, no forum complaints or bans. I understand the reason why i got the warning and have no issues with it.

What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?:

Help direct the flow of rounds, whether extended or an antag round, heads of staff are what the crew and other players look to when they do not know what to do or how to act. Even if characters in round choose to disobey with the heads of staff, their presence can allow for engaging interactions. Their connection to central command and therefore the SCC also makes them often the direct opposition to antagonist forces, which again further helps direct the flow and conflict of a round.

What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?:

Mostly to just be sensible in game and out of game, especially in any community interaction. Be ready to answer questions and help other players who are new and learning. Being somewhat active in the community helps a lot with this. I already tend to spend a lot of time talking around the community discord channels, so in terms of talking to and interacting with members of the community that is kinda covered. I would also keep an eye on people in intern roles, cadets, apprentices, etc especially characters I do not recognise.

Could you give us the gist of what is currently happening in Tau ceti and how it affected your character and their career?

As the republic has begun its expansion following the collapse of much of the Solarian Alliance’s outer and mid rings the SCC and TCFL has been spearheading campaigns to make use of the planets left behind, creating the Corporate Reconstruction Zone and Peacekeeper mandate to consolidate power over the ex-solarian colonies and territories. While the TCFL has begun its reformation into a standing military, the SCC has formed the PMCG, to consolidate the many contractor groups operating in the spur and place them under its payroll. Utilising these contractors to pursue or defend the SCC’s interests. The SCCV Horizon being a key asset, especially in the wake of the Phoron Scarcity. With the increasing need for heads of staff with experience in ship defence, Takeshi Sato was contracted onto the SCC from their original position in the Xanu Defence Services group.

Clem plays good characters and is knowledgeable of the game. They'd fit into command well.

Having known Clem for upwards of a year and experiencing the plethora of characters they have to offer I can say without a shadow of a doubt that Clem would make a fantastic addition to the command team. +1.5

Played a round today as my orange skrell XO, with Takeshi Sato as HoS. And stars above, it was a really really good round.

He was very good, responsive, communicated with his officers as well as command. Did everything a good HoS should do.

 

Hivebots spawned in secure storage with the phoron canisters. Command of course arms up officers, gets engineers, sets up emitters, etc.

But it goes fucky, hivebots tear open a canister, it ignites. Three dead.

At the end of everything, I arranged a command meeting, which Takeshi did attend, of course.

We discussed what exactly has happened there, how the people died, how it was all preventable, etc.

I want to see more moments like this. Super good round.
