From all that I have seen, they seem to at least from my perception have a pretty good head on their shoulders to be a GLORIFIED PAPER PUSHER Wiki-maintainer! I have confidence in their abilities so that has made them earn my +1

As a regular in the Food and Drinks wiki page, (I have them favourited now), I have to say that the way things are laid out is really, really good. Other servers have had things in a large pile, which is horribly intimidating to look at for the first time. Even splitting up every recipe by "Tools to make/base of drink" really helps for when I want to serve various teas and coffees. 

I believe BenAflek will really be good at being not just the best Paper Pusher, but the best Paper Filer we've had! +1!

Food and Drinks is a good page that I use regularly due to it being both coherent and comprehensive. 

Overall, a good player and very knowledgeable about game mechanics, due to playing a lot of different heads of departments.

Hi, firstly this feedback is based around my POV as an Admin. Not a player. I like to think that we are friends. 

I have some concerns. 

1. I am concerned when it comes to you being in the staff discord. The channels you will have access to sometimes contain discussions that are meant to stay in staff cord. Arcs, general discussions, etc. I am not sure that I feel comfortable with you having access to those in any capacity. 

2. I also hold concerns regarding some of your out of character conduct, and I do not think you should be a representative of the Aurora Staff team in any capacity. 

Overall I do not think you should be a staff member. I haven't seen much improvement since you've returned. I think you are a good person and I think that you are someone who is passionate about the improvement of the server. But before I can be comfortable with you representing the server in anyway, I would like to see you become less confrontational and less abrasive.

I'm pretty taken back by this, as I have no recent altercations to suggest any of this is viable? I have two complaints on staff, one of which I graciously accepted the decision after it was explained to me, and the other which hasn't even been resolved yet. 

I haven't been abrasive in OOC or on the servers Discord. If I was such a problem, why hasn't anyone spoken to me? This sort of meta-grudging behavior is disturbing. If a player has issues, shouldn't staff come to them? 

I can't even begin to think of anything I've done lately to receive this sort of... personal attack. The first point eludes to me metaing information from staff discord, which is something I've NEVER done. Ever. There's absolutely nothing to back this claim. 

The second point doesn't tell me what to "improve" on. I've never been spoken to about my behavior to begin with.

I'm also going to edit this in here that I was in your staff discord for nearly a week and a half before it was decided to re-open my application so the community could give feedback. Not once during that week and a half period did I do anything that suggests this first point has grounds. I've not done it in the past when I was on the team. I didn't do it when I was in the staff discord recently either.

This is an example of your OOC abrasiveness. You seem to operate under an idea that the staff team is out to get you.

Well, there's actually a good reason I said what I said. Recently, you told me all your staff complaints come from me... and now, only when I have an application up is my "ooc behavior" an issue...

It really does paint out a metagrudging sort of behavior, given I don't have warnings/staff talks to me about my OOC behavior. 

I do have, as a player, every right to make staff complaints. 

I also don't feel defending myself against claims that had no proof (because none of it has.. ever occured) is abrasiveness.

I'm not going to entertain this any longer. Nothing about what you said was a joke, and I did take it to mean something. Given now... with this negative to my application, despite me never being spoken to about any of the complaints, I do take it as metagrudging. 

Especially when one of the complaints is something as serious as me "potentially" meta'ing information from Staff Discord, despite me never in my history of Aurora, having done such a thing. 

I will share the comment, for transparency on this application. While I made a joking reply, your comment didn't come off as a joke to me.

Your conduct over the past year in particular has painted a picture that you do everything in your power to act combative toward staff in virtually every ticket you are in. This goes so far that almost every single ticket involving you (that you did not make) ends up being a staff complaint because you are that resistant to somebody telling you you are wrong, even if the ticket doesn't result in punishment. This is not the kind of behavior that ends well with someone on the staff team. 

Your reaction towards the first and until then only -1 on your complaint was to immediately accuse Read of metagrudging and then go dredging up logs. This only further shows your attitude towards people saying anything about you that isn't strictly supportive. Bottom line, you take everything as a personal attack, and that is a bad quality for a staff team member.

Someone giving a negative opinion on your application, which they are perfectly allowed to do as the point of an application is partially to garner feedback, is not metagrudging or a 'personal attack'.

I think this is very untruthful. If you did not take it as a joke, you would not have sent a joking reply, simple as. You are twisting this into the metagrudging angle you've fabricated to make Read look bad. Read has never been known to do this kind of stuff outside of a strictly joking context. 

 

Overall, I find your attitude to be unbecoming of a staff member. Your response to any conflict/negative feedback to your decisions, gameplay or otherwise, is to take it as a personal attack and try your hardest to paint the other person as some kind of harassing metagrudger. We are volunteers who do what we do for the sake of the server we enjoy. We do not have the time nor the care to go around personally attacking people because we felt like it at the time. Hard -1

You can't possibly know how I took something. This is the second time you've claimed I've been untruthful about something simply because you assume you know what I'm thinking. It's really unbecoming to be that way. I reply in a joking manner to a lot of things I find upsetting or insulting. It's how I cope.

I haven't even been back a year. I've been back two months.

I have made two since being back, one is directly about you and is still being looked at. The other I accepted the answer for and was pretty amicable in the entire time.

I haven't been here "over the past year." i've been back since November. I'm not sure who you're referring, but it really isn't me.

Once again, I was in staff before and NEVER did this sort of thing. It's blaming me for doing something I might do (but have absolutely no history in doing at all). It's just slander at this point.
