The Day Odin was Kill

Also, it was not part of our original plan (and succeeding plans, the plan changed like multiple times) to be bombing the Odin to kingdom come. What we were going to do is be miner/cargo ops and steal NT's cargo points and get guns and shit to sell to the black market.

The captain kind of hid the spare ID at round-start, disallowing us from doing that.

So the plan changed. A lot.

You're also probably wondering how we escaped alive.

We managed to emag the prison shuttle console. Hit send. Got back to our shuttle, just in time for the nuke to blow up, RIGHT after Central Command ordered a reroute for the emergency shuttle.

They never knew what hit them.

Strictly speaking the moment you would have stepped off the ERT shuttle CentSec would have probably murdered you to bits so, I mean.

Odin probably didn't become kill. Should probably add DebtSquid mobs to CentComm to discourage shuttle hijacking. It's like being a terrorist and riding into Fort Knox in the back of an Army truck.

Welcome to die.

This is something I don't understand, a lot of people think that Odin is empty and that they could take it over with a few weapons and bombs.

Odin has a security detail, they would be there all the time. One day when we had 2 people playing the guards at Odin, someone questioned why they were there on code green. Technically they are always there.

Next time people do this, you guys should spawn Odin Guards to wreck their shit.

Man, who even cares.

We had an objective laid out. Plans changed multiple times due to conditions not being what we expected. We executed upon it anyway. We had fun doing it, and we freaked just about everyone out while doing it.

Saying "Oh this isn't impressive because the admins didn't throw impossible circumstances at you just because" is a really quick and easy way to tick people off.

If we had a couple odin doods just ready at the doors to shoot us up with SAWs, I wouldn't have been mad. It'd have been a funny end to our valiant attempts and that would've been that.

What happened happened, it wasn't canon obviously but it's just funny to even remember.

Id argue that as the central operations center for Tau Ceti, the Odin would have armed guards, with weapons visible at all times. The only possible hope you could have im blowing up the Odin would be placing the Nuke on the ERT shuttle, activating it, and then sending it to the Odin.
