MetaphysicalPersona
I've been here for four months and it was fun while it lasted. Some of you know my character known as Seon-rin Von Illdenberg and I tell you now this character was made in a second in my mind and she was a riot... if you don't know her or seen her ICly you probably know her from my previous post which is the infamous "Seon-rin Von Illdenberg what do you think of her?" which had many crazy reviews... Well to get to the point I am banned until I can show I can make a "well rounded" character but I don't really want to make a new character really I kind of like her and the fun impacts she made and I don't know who else to make yet. So I'm leaving Aurora whether you knew me/her or not, Good bye and happy new year. Quote Link to comment

Lady_of_Ravens
Alright, next week, then? Sounds right. I know when I'm really leaving somewhere I don't make a post, I just don't go there anymore. Quote Link to comment
rrrrrr
Bold decision by the admins to tell someone who can't play the game to show that they can make a well rounded character. Quote Link to comment
Thundy
Alright, next week, then? http://aurorastation.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=3646 Pardon me, I distinctly remember you doing the above about 50000 times. Don't be a hypocrite. You're fine, Meta. Quote Link to comment
Guest Menown
The assault on the admins begins. I await the reddit post. Either way, Meta. Changing your character is easy enough. Either making a new one or making a change to your current one. It's real simple, and from what I understand the moderation team attempted to help you. You just decided to disregard them, and wanted to keep playing your character as you did, despite being told not to. Quote Link to comment

hivefleetchicken
thundy you said you were leaving too and came back to become moderator like two weeks later Why is it you people need to be so dramatic about leaving But I mean cmon meta you don't need to leave over a character But actually it's your choice and you want to leave? I do not know where I am and uncle Kent said the new years adult brownies definitely were not laced with weed and caffeine and they were just special?? oH FUCK DudE// Quote Link to comment
Spider
I'm not going to try to stop you from leaving, because this decision is entirely your choice. However making a big deal about it isn't going to make people shed a tear for you, people come, people go, and it's time for you to move on. It's understandable that you're mad about your character being banned, however if you were truly serious about liking that character you would've gone further to try and improve them to meet the standards of this community. You're a good person, a great player, and it's always fun to play with you, but you have to understand the guidelines set by the server and adhere to them in order to continue playing like you would. Ignorance won't get you anywhere, stay if you must, but at the same time, goodbye. Quote Link to comment

Guest
This kinda thing happened to me when I first started playing command, I had an issue with expecting respect rather than earning it, and all my characters had this issue. It especially came to my attention when I was publicly berated in OOC by a certain Head Administrator and another player who has since left So I took all my characters, and I deleted them, started from scratch, created dedicated characters for each department, gave them stories and records and reasons for why they do what, now I have a nice mix of arrogant, humble, and downright submissive characters and I've improved my roleplay significantly since I first came here. Don't let this bother you, don't even get rid of your character, just refine them a little bit, trust me you won't regret it. Quote Link to comment
Frances
Can confirm. In my two years here I've seen a lot of people completely drop the ball, come back, and do perfectly fine with improving. No shame in that. Quote Link to comment

Guest
But IJ, we live, we breathe, we literally exist only to shitpost. Not really, but I think this community in particular has gotten sick of the goodbye posts, so it might be better off for folk not to even post them or even post in them. Look at me, though, I should probably practice what I preach, but I figure I should just give people some ideas, at least. Quote Link to comment
incognitojesus
I don't have an issue with people not liking goodbye posts, I don't like them either. something something I remember when people just stopped showing up instead of making elaborate posts. But that's beside the point. A few of the posts in this thread have been, well, dickish, to say the least. It's not just shitposting, it's being a toxic asshole. Quote Link to comment
