How long have you been playing on Aurora?: off and on for about 1 year

Why do you wish to be on the whitelist?: I want to help the community and play as a Head of Staff. (i usually get on when it's lowpop and not many heads)

Why did you come to Aurora?: Hypatia was too strict and was all extended , came for the glory of antags

Have you read the BS12 wiki on the head roles you plan on playing?: yes

Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph each.

Give a definition of what you think roleplay is, and should be about:

Roleplay , if you think about it , is pretty much like pretending you're the person that you're playing in-game. You roleplay what that person would feel in real life , emotions , pain , confusion , the like. Roleplay should be what your simulated character should do , feel , hear and see in the simulated environment they're in. (Paragraphs will be 3-5 sentences long)

What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?:

well first off , you're expected to know your field , as NT wouldn't hire someone who doesn't know how to do their job.

Secondly , you're expected to not fuck-up , and make fuck-ups as rare as possible. Another reason would be to follow procedure; you're actually trusted with a high position , don't fuck it up.

What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?:

the responsibilities of other whitelist players is to do their job responsibly , seriously , and are expected to follow standard operating procedure at all times. I will most likely uphold this as HoS , keeping the other heads of staff in check (also if i make a captain character). I also believe that other whitelist characters (whether it be race or head) , should RP as best to their ability.

Character name: Ludwick Von-Ernsdorf (New Character)

Character age: 45

Please provide a short biography of this character (approx 2 paragraphs):

Ludwick was born , March 12th , 2412 into a relatively Wealthy Family on Mars. He was sent to a Boarding Military Highschool in the Capital of Mars at the age of 14 , and he hated every second of it. At the age of 16 , he ran away from the Boarding School , and was eventually found by Sol Authorities. After hearing of this , his family disowned him and told him to never come back home. he became a drifter for 2 years , until he decided to get off his feet , and go work for a company that would give him a second chance. After searching for a few weeks , he found the local NT Recruiter , and signed up for a Security Cadetship on the spot. He was Stationed to the NSS Kronos (Made up ) for his year-long Cadetship. After completing his cadetship , he was Transferred to the NSS Crawford (Again , made up) , and became a low-tier Security officer for some time , eventually becoming a T5s Seurity Officer after 10 years of Work on the NSS Crawford. After Meeting the Age Requirement , he became the Warden on the NSS Crawford , becoming a T6s. He is trained in almost every aspect of security , except for Forensics , and is trained in command.

What do you like about this character?:

His ability to Qualify for many different jobs , ability to adapt to almost any security situation , and has a general good work ethic

What do you dislike about this character?:

he is generally Arrogant and uptight , and likes to punish people to the Maximum Sentence

What do you think makes this character fit to be a head of staff?:

His training in command and security , and quick-thinking and response.

I'd like to point out the minimum age for a head is staff is thirty years old. But other than that, so far I've seen racist and even anti-semitic quotes over comms from this character on extended that makes me believe he wouldn't be a good fit. I'll keep my eyes peeled though.

Loyal, yes, but also, bluntly put, a couple carp short of a school. I would not like to see Siganto in a head position, given the immaturity and general cluelessness his characters have been seen to act with.

He isn't a couple carp short , I just make him not give a shit about his job.


Then why is he employed?

I don't know about this. I have witnessed Juan Siganto being in Security for a little while now. From what I can tell, he doesn't care. He doesn't care about anything. He doesn't have an attitude that I feel is needed to be a Head of Security.

Now, if any of their other characters are different and Siganto is meant to be played like that than yes, I would be fine with the Whitelist as long as Siganto is not a Head of Security.

I'll wait for the input of those that hold the final decision here, but this would still get my -1. There aren't really "NT Recruiters", this isn't the military and NT most CERTAINLY doesn't hire walk-ins without resumes, background checks, et-cetera.

ALSO. Your "OOC purpose of a head" description looks a little bit off-kilter to me. It doesn't quite look like you hit the nail on the head, though that could be seen as vaguely grasping the concept. You're close, but not quite at the whole picture yet.

I'm going to have to -1, Juan Siganto has always been an immature Officer, and a little slow, and I believe I may have had him arrested before for ignoring orders; but this happens a lot and very well could have been another Officer. I would not like to see Siganto, or any of these other characters, in command.

I will have to go with a -1 on this application. It was VERY close but I just wouldn't feel confident with your characters as they are in their current state. I would recommend, like you have said, creating a new character, fleshing them out to a good degree and trying to make some interesting (Not too over the top) roleplay. Good luck either way though.

Taking a look I don't think you've realized what the community and staff wants in respect to your OOC purposes. Your backstory also kinda clashes, with a character who apparently resents authority (The school and his parents) but wanted to be in a police/military like occupation. Also, the Tiers are pay grades, your ranks would be "Security Officer Level 1" etc.
