Craftable Shields

we have craftable pikes, craftable spears, craftable armor, craftable guns, craftable stunrods, craftable stungloves, craftable everything.

can we plz make shitty makeshift shields that would be cool, they don't even have to be good I just want the AESTHETIC.

Only if it blocks melee attacks far less often than riot shields/telescopic shields do so they aren't better than the pre-existing items. And only if it blocks melee attacks, it'd be pretty dumb for a stun beam, laser or bullet to get blocked by a tray shield.

What about having to reinforce the tray like you do with that makeshift armor? Since makeshift armor made of diamond has a chance to reflect lasers iirc.

Then it should block more melee attacks. Currently the only shield in-game that blocks ranged attacks regularly is the energy shield. Although there are probably others that I'm missing but aren't in the game through standard means.

I'd agree to them blocking a single projectile after which they'd shatter or broke.

Make 'em modular like the other things that can be crafted, vary the durability and protection from the materials needed.
