  6. I'm well aware the HOS gets a dog; but it's also the HOS's pet. and any self respecting HOS won't use it to gank the valids, because it's the damn pet. Antags also don't get any assault rifles: Only a pistol, a tommy-gun, Sniper rifle (Which is 25tc, the whole budget) and revolver, Which I rarely see any of these being used anyway. But "gibing all kool doggo" kinda defeats the point of the pet in my opinion anyway. it's supposed to be something that's exclusive.
  7. I see several issues with this: of which are mostly opinionated. 1. The dog Searching sounds frustrating as fuck for antags; and would likely stifle RP. Antag trying to run a drug ring or something instead of murderboning? Tough shit meme dog saw you and it's radar detected drugs. if it wasn't automatic. it'd be useless. because you'd probably still need a warrant for it; in which case it'd be better to Actually search them yourself: because then you'd be able to actually find contraband that isn't drugs. 2. Why remove the detective like what no. 3. How would the dog even detect the regants? Would it just search for an Item in Inv? or would I be able to sprinkle crack on an innocent person to get them arrested? 4. Simple_animals are simple_minded. Which means it'll be either useless in a fight, or fucking broken. depends how it's added: Does it stun and have high health? Fuck that noise. Is it insanely speedy and stun? Fuck that noise Both of those would be frustrating to fight against to the extreme. 5. How would they be equipped? would it be kept the exact same as the current detective/forensics? because that'll get rid of all the effort made to Separate the two. Would it just be a security officer with a dog? Then it's a solid buff. which is bad. Is it a det with doggo? again, solid buff; and if the dog stuns at fucking all: makes the det an antag hunting monster. I'll probably add more to this as I think of things wrong with it.

Alright: some things that I feel should be changed or looked at for Newmap: Mining needs access to pretty well every external Airlock, This wasn't needed on the Exodus due to mininga being indipendant from the station. But there's no reason they shouldn't have access to the Arrivials/Escape airlocks, and The several ones dotted around the station Slag is so broke holy fuck I needed a bag full of diamond ore to fix what someone broke in 2 minutes, but this is confirmed changed soon If you're beside a wall that has a floor leading to space. you should be able to stay on the same Zlevel, it's disorientating otherwise. epspecially because there's no way to get back up. K.A needs a "auto pump" upgrade from science or for 750 points. this is more of a QOL thing. The autolockers need to be in the way of the shuttle. so people have to go through them to get on. so they dont miss them. The Jaunter's are pretty useless as is, as you often get tele'd off station, and you have no idea where anything is. My suggestion is being able to bind them to a Tele beacon, which you should also get when you buy one, teleporting to it should have a 5-10 tile miss zone or something.

Some other Mild changes Should Include: Moving the Autolathe To a location Robotics can access it, this allows them to print the Sensors (which are arguably the only things they Should be grabbing from there in the first place, and as a plus allows them to Make buckets for Cleanbots. if RP Becomes an issue, Have Insulated gloves be spawned in the Robotics lab at round start. Potentially return the Robo-Vend machine to robotics, stocked. For the Issue of flashes, IF the situation Occours that they run out, They should be able to make synthetic ones somehow, potentially asking science with the protolathe, or Letting the Science Autolathe print them As it is right now. Some roboticists have a nasty Tendency to just flat out Nullify R&D by building their own. IF they really want to do R&D, there's still nothing stopping them from just asking the HOP or RD.
  10. The (supposed) problem With cloning is not that it is Too easy, or that there are no effects to it. The (supposed) problem is that it is too common place, and players feel like Medbay is more of a clone bay. The solution to this is Not to make Cloning harder, as that only fucks you over if you get a shitty doctor. Nor is it to give you crippling disabilities, as That just makes things Tedious, and not fun to play. Currently, Cloning Just Requires Meat to function. So Paying Credits To get cloned is just stupid, and doesn't make sense. However, my Hypothetical solution is to Make cloning Either: A: Require Significant amounts of meat to function, and give medical a Way to gather meat, whether it be a gibber, or otherwise. or B: Make cloning require some form of outside resource, Metallic Hydrogen I don't think even has a use. so that could be another solution, or just give it to Plasma to make it more of a "wonder material". The Other suggestions I see, like Missing Limbs; Doesn't really make sense, unless the limbs missing Can either be Grown somehow, or Cloned, as there's currently No way to Get organs, so what would happen is you would get someone cloned, say without a heart, then Die. (Unless Either a mechanical one is provided, or the one is taken from the corpse, which I doubt is sanitary) Another way to reduce clone usage is to provide another way for Dead people to re-enter the round. Whether it be through a "Defib" type machine that you put the corpse in and it res's it. Or some other way. The Defib route would Require treatment after the Defib. so they don't die again instantly.

If other, replace line and specify.) Overview of the Incident: Pretty much as soon as shift start. I headed to the Mining outpost to Equip A hardsuit, and do some auxiliary Mining, going on the assumption that the Other two miners present would find a good spot for the drills to function, as I stated that I would be doing Mining. I took a shuttle without them, as they were on the station getting equipped. What I assume happened next is that they Set the docking on shuttle to manual Override when the airlocks did not instantly Open. Get frustrated when that did not work, and broke a window to get on the outpost. They then proceeded to blame me. I continued mining, Even getting spaced, having to use the teleporter at the construction site to get back to the asteroid. This took around 20 minutes. During that time they both managed to get themselves killed (and I assume eventually cloned) While draining all the air in the tanks at both docking ports, while not setting up a single drill, or mining any significant amount of ore. It took me significant effort to get back to the station with usable ore, which led to me having to kill 3 space carp. This event significantly reduced potential ore yield for shift. as none of the drills were set up at all. Did you report it to a Head of Department or IAA? If so, who?: (Hanira Yishu, Captain) Actions taken: None were taken. as the station was under an emergency situation. I did not expect anything to happen either. as both of them were either SSD, or Dead. Additional notes: If he does something Like this again, I Will Do something about it.

  13. I was the person whom he arrested for "stealing all da hops monie!" (which the HOP stole from the station, I think" Continued to ignored the HOP saying I did not steal it over comms, and In an attempt to arrest me, fired tasers down the hall hitting like 3 people, hence "shitcurity"
