Did you seriously not have a head whitelist yet? Wow, you're such a big nerd. But, Tish's RP skills are probably some of the best I've seen on the server. They are calm, cool, collected, and should definitely be whitelisted. THEY'RE ALSO A BIG NERD.

I've been keeping eyes on the reddit SS13 community, and I can sum up their opinion in a sentence. They hate the cliques, and the favoritism. They know we have those, and they come on, it happens to them, and they go back to Reddit, and post about it happening to them. This discourages new players from joining Aurora from reddit because of these posts. I've done my best to explain the situations, but it's hard to explain something when they are right about someone getting arrested for something a known character had done five minutes ago.

I'll have to agree with Konflict. It's easier to do it that way, unless it gets viciously metagamed.

I'm all for Dea's idea. When it comes down to it, It falls to whether or not the community enjoys it or not. We can't all be on the Lore Team, and if the species are stuck with their devs, then what choice do we have in what even RP? The Developers could in all intents and purposes do whatever they felt like with their own respective species, and go off on their own. +1 for Dea.

The cold, calculating eyes of a robot can never fully be roleplayed out using a human being. Humans, Tajarans, Skrell, and Unathi are by nature, flawed emotionally. They cannot come to work and separate themselves completely from their job. An IPC, however, has none of these inhibitors. If, one would say, someone as an IPC was a HoS, They could RP them being completely black and white, and going completely by the regulations. Here's a thought also; Why is it out of the picture that head IPCs be given a lawset, sort of like a loyalty implant, that keeps them from doing the things that people are afraid of?

I have to agree with Brage here. I've found myself thinking about loyalty implants, and how much easier it would be to stick a loyalty implant in every nuke ops/cultist and make them spill the beans about their prospective friends.

I've always played the loyalty implant as basically an alarm in your head that stings whenever you're about to harm to NanoTrasen in anyway.

Just describe how you generally play your Head of Security, and their little quirks. I play Robert as a rough and tumble, sort of ex-marine type. He doesn't go by-the-book like a lot of others do. He's impulsive, and very selfless when it comes down to it. I can recall many different nuke and wizard rounds where Robert told someone to flee while he distracted the antag/sacrificed himself.
