Name: Robert Dalton Caucasian Human One eye is blue, the other is mechanical grey. Robert is tall, and built like a boxer. Starting from the top, Robert's hair is shaggy, and messy. It is usually slicked back, and pushed out of his face, but if it wasn't, it would reach his eyebrows. His face is old and grizzled. He has a robotic eye, but usually wears secHUDS to cover them up. His beard is bushy, but not very big. It covers his chin, which would be very strong and set. He has wide shoulders, and his right arm is cybernetic. He usually wears a black leather jacket, and holds his trademark weapon, an energy pistol.

1138's Head Whitelist Reapplication, Electric Boogaloo
Valkrae replied to a topic in Whitelist Applications Archives
I don't see what his characters questioning orders and them having bitchiness has anything to do with his whitelist application. It's more of a fact that; Does it bring interesting roleplay to the table. And you know what? I absolutely have a blast every time I've had to RP with one of Delta's head characters. While they may be annoying, or quick to fight, it's just how they are. It's /fun/ to me. So, if it was up to me, I'd say yes. Let him have it back. -

As an aside, IT's really confusing when you change the titles, because people don't know what you're talking about when they see it on the front page of the forums. Back on topic, I think Security is surrounded by all of these means to get very hostile, that we should limit them. We should also limit the killpower of antagonists. The nuke ops have waaaaay too much firepower. If they lose a gun, they can just order another, or grab another from a locker. The Cult has that blood boil thing. Changelings have an /INSTAKILL/ sting. No wonder Security has devolved to such an antag-hunting morass of lethal superiority. The antags have so much potential kill power that it's ridiculous. Limit both sides, make them be more conservative with their weaponry.

The issue is that a lot of HoS players treat it as a military unit, myself included. While I haven't logged on in a few months, I feel as if that trend probably still stayed. Security in most buildings are mostly there for three reasons: Keep people out, Keep people safe, and breaking up internal conflict. Security is most corporate situations aren't normally armed to deal with heavily armed people busting down the door every five minutes. If it were up to me? Try a nuke round with a reduced armory size, see what happens.

EDIT: I realized it was mostly just stress from outside sources. I love the shit out of you guys, and I can't stay away for very long. I'm still staying gone because of school.

I'm going to keep this short. EDIT: I realized it was mostly just stress from outside sources. I love the shit out of you guys, and I can't stay away for very long. I'm still staying gone because of school. It's been fun, guys.

I got 110 as Robert. How is being white a snowflakey attribute?
-
Because, to be frank, I've got nothing more to contribute to this complaint. As I don't see the point in it.

I started playing on this server last around, around August. Some of you might remember the greasers, I joined with those guys. We messed around, got banned a few times. Then they stopped playing. I didn't. I stuck around and kept playing. I had some fun, role playing with some of the best people I've ever roleplayed with. Then I decided to actually try and become a mainstay. I started getting involved in server politics and discussing everything. I made a pretty popular character by the name of Robert Dalton, as much as a self-insert as I've ever made. I actually had fun and had a blast. And then I started to see an increase in complaints, arguments, and fights over small issues. I saw that people would jump at each others throats over the smallest issue. And that massive, forum-spanning arguments would rip this little slice of paradise asunder every time someone mentioned something even remotely enabling an argument. I've got no issue with people discussing things, it's when people start /blindly/ throwing thinly-veiled insults at one another that pisses me off. I've stopped even getting on the server because of the fact that I don't want to do something that someone dislikes, and get some sort of ahelp or complaint against me, and have to worry about it. I've stopped even trying to do anything on the server, because of some fear of having my actions reported for me just playing the character as he is meant to be played. I just, I don't want to even get on the server anymore because of the utter hostility of everyone towards one another. I've been one of our most vocal defenders on Reddit, and other mediums, but I've started to agree with most of the issues brought up. Our community is hostile, but not in the way that most people think. We don't yell and harass people, we explain to them passive-aggressively that what they're doing is stupid and that they should stop. This has mostly just been a stream-of-consciousness, but I've lost all passion for even being apart of this place anymore. Only a handful of people even make it worthwhile for me anymore. And please, don't make this into an argument.

That's the thing. Probably higher than Earth, as this was right before the Civil War hit it's fullest swing. This could be full of refugees from the planets that the fighting was heaviest on, and even then, most of the planet is just factories.
-
Believe it or not, that's already fully possible. Granted, it's only with point-fighters at the moment and not capitol ships with docking collars, but you get the picture. Do you have an org, Valkrae? Cellica. It's an umbrella corporation, encompassing multiple others. We have arms in Security, Medical, Exploration and other things.

The only experience I have with ninja is the round where Sue became a ninja. We sat in Teamspeak and giggled violently as she went around the station pushing people over, and screaming SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKY. I want this in secret.

Star Citizen will be the best gaming experience ever. Of all time.

Type (e.g. Planet, Faction, System): Planet/System Founding/Settlement Date (if applicable): 2335 (( Or any date that is really acceptable. )) Region of Space: Dead center in the middle of the Middle Colonies. Controlled by (if not a faction): The Sol Alliance; If not a smaller, localized system-wide government that is a protectorate of some kind to the Sol Alliance. Other Snapshot information: -Major trade and prodution hub, a psuedo-link between the inner and outer colonies. -Think Taris or Coruscant-like cityscapes. -Large criminal activity around the planet on it’s surface. -Lax on laws regarding Corporate environmental hazards and modification in the area. Multiple automated factories and laboratories. -Supports a large amount of slums, and other low-income tenements. -Trade hub for certain piracy/criminal/black market activities. -Lax on laws regarding scientific experimentation; Labs are beginning to sprout up in the area. Long Description: The Kerberos system was settled with the ideal of having a central trade hub between the inner and outer colonies, to attempt to ease relations between the two. Obviously, this failed the latter, but the trade hub aspect soared. Corporations seeing the possible profit set up shop on the habitable planets and began to build massive factories to mass produce weapons, ships, and other supplies to the Sol Alliance and the rebels. Cities began to spring up around the factories, and it began to spiral from there. The government was immediately bought out by multiple Corporations, and laws regarding environmental concerns, and modification and testing were immediately disregarded. This system only has one ‘habitable’ planet. The fifth planet from the sun, called ‘Arclight’ by the first settlers on the planet. However, most if not all of the planets in the system have been converted into planetoid factories. First Planet: Corvus - A radiation blasted rock of a planetoid. No life. No factories. Completely barren and devoid of all life. Second Planet: Quion - A venus-like planet, with numerous orbital gas harvesting stations. Gas in the atmosphere is prone to spontaneous combustion. Third Planet: Ki - Ship constructing factories, orbital shipyard. A small biodome used to house workers. A few other bio domes were cracked open due to a ship exploding in orbit, and the debris busted the domes wide open. Fourth Planet: Kepler Alpha - A planet that’s surface is barren, yet underneath is filled with multiple research facilities. Massive underground domes house science, and maintenance personnel. Fifth Planet: Arclight - The massive arcology that gives the system it’s name and reputation. The one planet that once had a habitable atmosphere, it is now nearly unbreathable due to the massive amounts of pollution that are all over the planet, as well as the normal pollution of an arcology. Multiple factories, labs, docks, and other trade hubs are all over the planet's surface. Multiple other planets that are yet unclaimed. Some are rumoured to house pirate hubs, blackmarket stations, and other places of ill-repute.

CSI does not have Detective access, I don't think.

English. Italian - Bonjourno. I used to be able to speak Quenyan Elvish pretty okay, but I really just stopped ever using it, and I kind of lost it. A few friends and I created a language, and a few of us could speak it fluently. For example; If you wanted to ask "Is it going to rain tonight?" You would say; Shon caeltid ketslis? which roughly translates to around.. Should nighttime rain. It's really simplistic, but we kinda stopped due to lack of interest.

I'll buy-in to this, definitely. I could see making a character from here, and plus, IT reminds me of Destiny. -
I'm going to build the biggest, and ugliest tower I possibly can. Then call it Capitalism.

Can I get a very basic series of events, that are organized and to the point? I really don't know what to even believe happened.

As a Security player, who plays Security most of the time. I feel really targeted when people immediately put every single problem that arises within a department onto Security. Yes, we can be overzealous. Yes, we can be a bit powergamey, but, /EVERY/ department can easily do it. Science can make stun revolvers. Engineering can make stungloves(anyone can, actually.) Medical can make gas that literally MELTS YOU. Cargo can order crates of MacGuffin level weaponry. Why are we so dead-set on throwing ever single bit of blame onto Security? It seems that the second a problem arises that has /ANYTHING/ to do with an antag, it's immediately Securities fault for being overzealous. Well, We're doing our jobs. Most of Security on this station are ex-military or something similar, as it should be. NanoTrasen hires people that do not crack under pressure. Fear RP doesn't apply as much to an ex-military Security Officer on a high-tech research facility, as it does to a Medical Doctor who has never held a gun in their life. Food for thought, I guess.

Well, I don't see why she shouldn't be unbanned. But after a staff member told her to not do that, she went ahead and did it. That's a no-no. But, she admitted what she did and apologized.
