That being, the matter of finding you multikeying while suspended from playing synthetics and on top of that breaking your laws under the multikey by chucklefucking with a pAI, that's a big red no. And then, lying about it. So I did my job, and permabanned you. Because that was a gross violation of our rules.

Disclaimer: I dig through EVERY SINGLE CASE brought up to me and I read, re-read, talk to staff and people involved, and consider what is on the table before making actions. Now, on to this complaint. This is my response. The first one I found evidence in the logs suggesting a metagrudging behaviour and an actual threat of reporting someone to byond because they told you to stop harassing them. They constantly told you to go away, and you lawyering your laws. You have notes against you for tip toeing laws as a cyborg. What rule is that? You were told to leave them alone. Your response was acting like some sort of cyborg gimp and then threatening people on looc for reporting them to byond. I found reason to give you a week synthetic ban to deter you from constantly repeating tip toeing actions. The second one was ruled that command brought Essel a murderous, mysterious humanoid and ordered them to research their eyes, due to their 'flashing properties'. Essel didn't go out in the hallway with an AED and hunt down the antag. It was a circumstance where she got her hands on them thanks to her superiors just handing him off to her. It's an IC issue. The third one, Hycinth's logs fits the bill of what Doomberg had, and upon reading it, we chalked it up as 'you dragged and hurt a patient even more, and nobody really died but they were severely injured, be more careful in the future.' The fourth one was one that I took to admin chat about. I asked for the last time bygonehero signed on because I wanted you to explain your actions as to what happened. Scopes pulled it up but notice that you had three keys, one that was involved in the complaint, your regular account, and Wisewill, another player with a history of playing a line toeing synthetic. He was the one that digged for hours piercing together and presented it to me. I got everything on the evening before your permaban, but I presented it to you the day after because I was not just going to ban you straight on the spot. I could then and there, but I decided to give you the benefit of the doubt and contact you. And I asked you about bygonehero's case in admin PM. You said you would get him to reply to the thread. I asked if you were sure he was your roommate. You still held true to your words, insisting this roommate was an actual person. Then I asked, "You wouldn't lie to me, would you?" You said. "Yea." And then that's when I showed you the pure, uncensored version of the picture I posted in your complaint. And for minutes, you didn't reply, until you did, and in the most defensive, passive aggressive way. I gave you a chance to come clean and not to lie to me. I gave you strong hints that something was off. And yet, you chose to continue your lie. I volunteered to work the complaints board to look at the cold hard facts, and make decisions base solely on that. I make all my intentions clear. If I make a mistake, I man up to it, apologize, and double check my work to see where I goofed up. But I assure you, I feel I made no mistakes in my calls that you pointed out.

I have brought this up to the admin staff regarding this case. Too many similarities were made between the accounts, and suspicions were raised with your story of being a roommate to SmileyDemon. Linked in the spoilers is the evidence that SoundScopes pulled up and showed to me which points out and proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that BygoneHero is indeed SmileyDemon. As it stands per our rules, attempts to evade a temporary ban by multikeying AND lying to staff (saying that "your roommate is the owner of the account 'BygoneHero'" and that you spoke to staff regarding the incident) is grounds a Permanent Ban, which we will be applying. We have a zero tolerance policy on lying. We have a zero tolerance policy on ban evasion. I will be leaving this thread open for twenty-four hours in case there are any further questions, comments, and/or concerns.

uh immunosuppressants do not cause seizures they do however: increase chances of infections (they're suppressing your immune system so huge surprise there) weakness loss of appetite nausea/vomiting increased hair growth (great for bald cures) tremblings

did some digging on some old textbooks. they can be administered through injections or capsules, depending on the type (but let's keep it simple) azathioprine: used in the real world for preventing a kidney transplant failure. mycophenolic acid: this one is more general, all around immunosuppressants. a lot of these have the side effects of weakness though, and missing dosages actually requires you to call the physician for a check up because even a slight deviancy in prescription/time can cause a failure. but again let's keep it simple?

I do not handle whitelist, but this is my take. It really all depends on how you present yourself. You have to make a good selling point. Now, that doesn't mean someone fresh from the boat just joining our community going, "Hi, I'm from _______, so I know how to do this." should be given an all-clear. I've seen that used so many times in application and to be quite honest it's a superfluous reasoning as to why they should be a head of staff. I have seen terrible head of staff players and aliens on servers which markets itself as heavy roleplay and terrific staff players and aliens on servers which are mid-low roleplay. Where you're from should not matter, and it really tells nothing as to why you should be head of staff other than "I had played it before". Anyone can play head of staff and still not know how to play it. But. Showing comprehension of what a job does that you're aiming for or how to play as an alien in accordance to what we have set as a line, does show that you have merit and can be given, in good faith, a whitelist. Misuse of your whitelist can and will be revoked, depending on the severity of what has happened and/or the history of incidents. After all, a whitelist is a privilege to play as a head of staff or an alien. And it can be given, it can taken as well. That's how the system is set up. It's not a perfect system, but (in my opinion) it works.

It also kind of leads to the question, how can maintenance drones roleplay when their laws forbid them from interacting with others? There's really no way for them to interact back as they're forbidden to speak with others besides other drones, and even then it's a job for doing something low stress with almost no interaction at all. Even if the AI is too an all omnipotent being on the station with eyes everywhere, it's also very much limit by the game's mechanic that they can only socialize with what they can see on the screen too (or AI eye). That's something else to keep in mind. Which makes it hard for an AI to involve everyone due to that limitation.

I am having an issue with this story, as there is no notes regarding you were talked to. Who was the staff member that spoke to you? Also, I am having issues with your particular case as well because this happened during the same week another ckey was banned from synthetic roles by me for a week. You and this person share the same computer ID, and IP address. In the spoiler below is proof. Per rules of privacy, I have censored the IP and obscured most the CID, but left the first number in to show the similarities between the ckeys. If you could please explain why this is so, I will appreciate it.

I read through this and spoke a bit with Doomberg. It's mainly an IC action which occurred. You should grab injured patients, not drag them, unless you're absolutely positively sure they do not have any fractures or broken bones. People get injured, sometimes with malpractice, it's dealt with IC consequences. This feels like more Incident Report material.

Right. As it stands, it was a bad joke blown way out of proportion. This is not the first time I have seen people make sexual jokes on the server which could be considered questionable, an example being that the other day there was talk of building a brothel and hiring escorts that was starting to become a bit silly. However, I will speak to Sleepywolf regarding matters. I will leave this topic open for a bit before locking and archiving.

I believe Susan has put a lot of thought into this application. The character itself being refurbished and scrappy compare to sleeker design (sorry but the cheesy 'Golden Age of Science Fiction' era always puts a smile on my face) appeals to my taste in robots, and overall, it would be interesting to see how she would roleplay as an IPC (also Toot as an IPC would be interesting).
