Inverted Rectum's weekly head whitelist application.
Hackie replied to a topic in Whitelist Applications Archives
Ignoring all of the above. Haruspex is a fun character, he adds to the enjoyment of the round by being a source of comic relief. Out of character, Inverted's a nice guy. He might not agree with the way this server is pulling, he might be a bit rude but, not immature. He can handle his stuff. +1 -
I want to be, the very best, the one that no-one ever was! I know Tool will do good with this, me and him go way back. He's an awesome roleplayer, while he may be a bit rare to see online, I hope I get to see him play this in action. also to provoke his character and have a chance to beat up an Unathi

This is not good, you're making Security even worse. Any pirate who got word of this station, could just pop open some walls, take down some turrets, and steal multi-billion dollar technology. Oh, and is they're not in the mood for that, maybe they could just pop by the vault, take some hard cash. Or, maybe the Syndicate are asking for a bunch of guns, well, let's just raid their vault! It's not that your map is the problem, just the main one in general has that issue. All the places you don't want people to go, are really easy to get to. Like, who would keep the armory and the vault on the exterior edge of the station?

YES! Please! I want this! It doesn't make any sense why an EMT wouldn't have access to maintenance. Another thing, considering that the EMT most likely has some training driving the Odysseus, which is a specialty training, would he get a little higher on the pay tier? Mechs in my opinion, aren't easy to drive. They're really hard. Also, consider the Odysseus is one of the fastest mechs in the game, that would be hard for an amateur. So, our EMTs would receive extra training.

Please, please, please! I'm tired of having to wait in black screen every single time I feel like torturing training a cadet in the meeting room, and I get bombed. Like, the brig gets bombed really easily.

@brycefaust WHat's this social screeching thing?

My response: Down with the system Freedom 'n' 'murica Polotikz boi Wanna play with my rainbow dash? I sure do love me some anthro-cats! Oui oui oui, le baguette Mouth ulcers, I'm here to bring you pain Rug burn, when you thought that buying this rug from the flea market was a good idea. Spaghgetti, literally hitler I'm inside you, no matter what you want you need me to survive. Honestly, I can agree on you with this.

I dislike pewdiepie, because I don't think screaming and swearing alone, is very funny.
-
Exactly, that sounds awesome as an idea. It'd be absolutely fabulous if we had this put into fine print on the wiki, and people who play characters with loyalty implants get some kind of message that says the setting their implant is on. It'd just be great overall.

-snip- I've played IAA many times before. My issue I was bringing up was generally a Head of Security wall bashing someone because they insulted him. Generally, I only call 'malf implants' when there's an issue like a an IAA agent fucking drawing cult symbols in his office, and rambling like a madman. I'm going to elaborate on the cyborg idea, there should be a couple of rules your character should follow, not follow protocol by the book, to the best of your ability. Myself, playing an IAA, generally turns out to be a very boring role, if you play that way. Imagine playing a cyborg without any laws, it would make the role very difficult. Like I said, we need a bold drawn line. This would make life much easier, and head roles less intimidating. And I agree, getting called out for having a malfunctioning implant, and not being a drone, following every single word of protocol is annoying. Your definition is very solid, we just need to see what it affects in OOC or actions your character do outside of the station. When is it on, when is it off? ect.

Bryce Faust: Reaaaaaally shady, like really shady. Very bad guy, likes cash. Seeks to climb the station's social hierarchy and come out with a bang before he dies of cancer.
-
I've got no reason to object. This looks really fucking awesome. It stands out, but isn't too showy. I bet some actual fun roleplay could be made from this. +1

Bryce and Travis are shouting at each other... again
-
Oliver, I want to find a good reason in character to provoke him. I don't know why, but, just being so 'nice'. Also, Jackboot, do you mean Bryce is always suspicious or, he's a very shady person?
-
Would the headless thing be able to lunge at people like the headcrab? Or use any 'ling abilities? Or is it just some head that needs to regenerate?
-

Inverted Rectum's head whitelist v2.1 : Revengeance
Hackie replied to a topic in Whitelist Applications Archives
Haruspex is one of the most amazing characters I've ever roleplayed with. He's a synthetic done right. I really love Haruspex. But, I'm going to be honest here, a synthetic shouldn't be CMO. The main issue with this, is that a Chief medical officer should be able to fill the duty as a psychiatrist; a synthetic cam't. Haruspex's eccentricity isn't something a human being can see eye to eye with. He lacks the empathy that an organic has, and it will be detrimental to his ability as a psychiatrist. However, that's my only 'issue' I see with the character in a head role, he's competent, funny, and enhances the role playing environment for everyone. Consider this a +1. -
Byond Nick: Hackie Mhan Character name joining the union: Bryce Faust Why? (Brief is fine; at least a sentence) Firstly, Bryce loves money; unions get him more money with better wages. He doesn't like the established leadership's attitude of, 'We care about the price tag, not the morals.'. In addition, he's also a member of the Jawdat family. Do you understand the rules and general expected behavior? Yes. What is the capital of Australia? Canberra

Touissant stares at the individual, he brushes his coat, and rubs some grime off of his pants. He raises a brow, and stares at the group. He notices the crossbow hanging from a pack. He says, "Alright, alright. My name is Touissant; wandering doctor. I'd gladly come with you, seeing as you have my crossbow, and you happen to be offering money.. Touissant searches the sack, hanging around his shoulder and searches it. He pulls out a high-quality scalpel, and a nameless bottle of what you assume, alcohol. He slips the scalpel into his belt, and walks hesitantly with what he assumes, are bandits. Looking for some easy pickings.
