  1. Allow me to show you who is truly the best candidate for president
  2. Feel free to rip apart these guys. Imraj Brar Azeazekal Karnaikai
  3. Imraj Brar, my first char, was modelled after numerous people. I based how religious he was off my father's brothers, who worked in a temple in India, and made him a man who cares deeply for his family and for others like my 9th grade social studies teacher. The whole "Angriest Sikh in SS13" thing came naturally as I played him and wanted to express my rage during certain events ICly. I gave him a mechanical left foot after I had a car accident which result in a broken foot, and gave him the Khanda tattoo to reflect how devouted he was to his religion. Azeazekal Karnaikai isn't as well made. My first thoughts were to have a gangster who became a security officer, but that seemed too snowflakey to me. Then I had him as legally barred from holding security positions, changed that, now I plan to reinstate it and have him be a miner/engineer. Imran Brar. Only played him a few times, want to develop him further.
  4. Day 1-Things are fine. We got some slight power issues, besides that we got stable water supply and stable food supply. Three Dog and Two Cat are running the radio, trying to find people to join the vault. Cafeteria's well-manned, got some amazingly fast staff. Generator's had a few fires, Oliver, Jeanette, and Rebecca were able to put it out. Fucking rad-roaches tunneled into the water supply twice. Godamn pests. We managed to set up a hospital and a lab in the lower levels to produce stim-paks and Rad-X. Phoebe was complaining about the power issues and noise from Dog and Cat's Recording station across the hall. There as a minor incident today, Three-Dog had impregnated two labourers. As I speak Maude and Mcgee are currently nurturing two healthy boys. Now, later in the day, Three-Dog was talking to Syrus during Syrus' shift as door guard. Three-Dog refered to Maude and Mcgee as his "Breeders" which caused Syrus to deck him across the face. We had a transmission from Vira, who we sent out with a stim-pak and two vials of rad-X, that she had found...hold on...One BB Gun, military gear, and leather armour,Along with a total of 179 caps. I told Three Dog to send to radio her to return. Godamn little brat, Roland, is running around and annoying everyone. As a final note, we were attacked twice today. Our militia, Syrus, Stefen, Ashley, Nasir-K, and Kelle were able to hold them off. This time around they had guns, I'm getting a little worried. But hey, being a manager is ever easy, am I right? Overseer signing out.
  5. I'm going to have to agree here. Heads of Staff, it makes sense. Aliens? Not so much.

    Stun Batons Removal

Yeah. No. The stun baton is the go-to weapon for sec, and nerfing it/replacing with clickly batons will just make sec worst. We don't need to nerf sec's stun weaponry.

  9. ATLAS, to my understanding, is mostly focused around human superiority.
  10. I'm not good with goodbyes. I saw you as an awesome player and person, dea, and hope you make the most of your time away from the game.
  11. Two days passed since I woke up in the IAC hospital. I had found shelter in a empty tent on the outskirts of the refugee camp. When I first found it, the old inhabitant was still inside. After I moved his body away I had begun to search the tent and found a weapon. A shotgun with two barrels, only one slug. Along with that there was a bag of leather, and black tinted goggles. Starving and hungry I had hidden the gun in my bag and put on my new goggles. Moving to a small marketplace in near the center of the camp. There were rugs of linen and other materials laid out, the shopkeepers sat on them and talked with passer-bys to try and get them to buy their wares. Scrap, medical supplies, ammunition, they sold whatever they could get their hands on. As I walked past I could see no food but, I eventually found a shopkeeper eating out of a metal can with the letters "IAC" written on the side. "Where did you get that food?" I questioned. The shopkeeper merely pointed in the direction of the IAC building. As I arrived I noticed an gigantic line up that stretched from the back of the white building to a little distance from the marketplace. I could not wait for this food, it would run out before my chance would come, so I began to move past the line and went behind the tent. There was a smaller tent behind it, stacks of tin cans raised high. They were only handing one can to each person. I scoped out the area, the people in the line couldn't see behind the can stacks, there was only two humans and a skrellian manning the tent. When the skrell had turn his back from the stacks to talk to a frustrated unathi in the line I had begun to move to the stacks. I grabbed as many cans as I could and placed them into my bag, but I was not careful enough. I had dropped one of the cans and it made a noise on a stone underneath. The Skrell yelled at one of the humans, who I recognized as the male who had taken off the white casts on my leg. I did not need an invitation, and I had begun to run as fast as I could away from the tent and the pursuing human. Hoping to lose him in the densely packed tents I sprinted into them but before I could get past the second line of tents I was tackled by him. My bag had fallen off and the cans I was carrying fell out, the others took notice and began to scramble to grab them. The human was momentarily distracted by the chaos and I used that as an opportunity to force him off. As he staggered to get back onto his feet I rushed to retrieve my bag. The moment I was able to grab it the human once again tackled me to the ground. The crowd watched as I attempted to kick the human off. Scared and afraid, I reached into my bag and pulled out the gun inside. Before the human could pull away I had placed it point-blank at his chin and pulled the trigger. In one moment the human was afraid, in the next the front half of his face was gone. I did not expect the noise and the recoil, which forced the gun out of my hand. I pulled off the human and looked around. His blood and brain matter, along with skull fragments, were scattered across the ground, tents, and on my body. Grabbing my bag and my gun before any of the on-lookers could take it away, I had tried to escape. Before I could walk two meters a larger unathi grabbed me and threw me to the ground. As he pulled out a bone knife I had prepared myself to become one with The Great Spirit as I closed my eyes. Suddenly, another shot rang out. I opened my eyes and saw the unathi laying on the floor with a hole in his neck. I had looked up and saw a green scaled unathi. He wore a hood over his head, black-tinted goggles like mine. On his legs were simple brown leather pants, around his waist hung a belt of tools, and on his wrists were two chains, one with a handgun tied to it, the wrapped around his arm. He extended out his free hand to me and looked me directly "You may thank me later, but we must leave now.". I nodded my head as I held my hand and he helped me up. As the crowd dispersed and we had begun to make our way to a tall building in the distance my saviour looked at me and asked "Have you ever heard of the Fifty-K, hatchling?".
  12. ((There will probably be more sections to come after this, I might update this thread after the main stories' "End" to explore further.)) Pain. Pain was all I felt. When I first opened my eyes, all I could see was white. As my eyes settled I could make out lights on a roof. I turned my head to the left and saw rows of beds, most of them shrouded by white curtains. I looked to my right and saw a wall with a red cross on it. Laying there I watched humans work, helping unathi out of the other white beds, helping them into white beds, or helping them into black bags. Soon a human arrived, she was dressed in a white coat, I could see purple clothing underneath. She was followed by a strange machine, it was floating with six strange limbs around it, made of white steel. As the machine waved a scanner over me. It proclaimed in the speak of the humans "Subject status. Stable. Brain trauma is healed. Bones are in correct placing." . With that the doctor called over another human, similarly dressed, who began to cut the wraps of white cloth around my left leg. Once the second human was finished, both him and the two others left to the next white bed. I got up from the bed, white lights hurting my eyes, and looked down to examine myself. All I had on me was black shorts, torn at the bottom with nothing in the pockets,a pair of black glasses at the little table next to me, some paper that I could barely read, and a picture. The picture was frayed at the ends, I could make out a male unathi standing tall. He was wearing nothing but some sort of uniform with the letters "NT". There was a woman beside him was dressed in a traditional robe. She was carrying a hatchling with her. I tucked the paper away into my pocket, put on my sunglasses, and began to move to find an exit. Stepping out of the white room I could see the exit. As I moved to the exit I could see a large pile of scrap outside with unathi picking through it. There was a older-looking one yelling at them to hurry up and find something useful. Passing by the scrap pile, I stared at the scene around me. There was bombed buildings, some scraped togather as a sort of makeshift home, tightly packed togather where the pathways in between didn't allow someone to pass through. The area was filled with hungry looking people, there was a massive line up to receive food from a human man next to the white building. I back at the white building before turning away and walking towards the ramshackle village, with nothing but the clothes on my back, a picture, and a will to survive.

    Borers

I never really liked borers, in my experience they've always just been powergaming dicks. Then again, I've never encountered one outside of low RP servers.
  15. This is something I don't understand, a lot of people think that Odin is empty and that they could take it over with a few weapons and bombs. Odin has a security detail, they would be there all the time. One day when we had 2 people playing the guards at Odin, someone questioned why they were there on code green. Technically they are always there. Next time people do this, you guys should spawn Odin Guards to wreck their shit.
  16. I suggested these because I figured they'd be a fun thing to have around, add some vanity and variety to armouries and such. The armour I suggested mainly because I thought it'd be badass.
  17. So I've been sitting on this idea for a while. New Guns Wesson Wardog: Fully automatic shotgun with a clip that stores 20 rounds. Found only in the ERT armoury. Seigfreig Fully Automatic Assault Rifle: An assault rifle that stores 30 rounds of ammo in it's clip, additional clips are in a separate ammo crate. Uses single shot, 3 burst fire, and can be fully automatic. Orderable in cargo, available in ERT armoury. Izwezki Hunting Rifle: Bolt action rifle that zooms, much like the LAWP, and stores a clip of 5. Addition clips can be ordered. Found in ERT armoury, orderable from cargo. Gun Customization[/u Plating: Using mining materials (Gold, silver, diamond, etc) you can plate your gun. Plating uses 5 sheets of the material and provides only a vanity bonus. Scribe: Using a scribe from in tool storage, Nuke ops shuttle, and the ERT armoury, you can etch words into your gun. You can also etch in tally marks, and your signature. Hand Grinder: Found in the nuke ops shuttle, tool storage, and the ERT armoury, used to remove plating or sand off words and tally marks. New Armour: Armoured exosuit: Buildable by robotics when they have weapons research level 5, and materials research level 5. You have to build a cyborg exoskeleton, make the plates for the limbs, head, and chest. The plates cost a large amount of metal. Once you put the plates on the exosuit you will have to use your wrench to bolt them into place. When using the exosuit you will become slower (Like using a hardsuit while starving) but will recieve 70 bomb protection, 60 brute protection, 50 laser protection, 50 ballistic protection. Alternatively, to bypass the weight, you can add wiring, adjust it with wire cutters, and add a sheet of metal to protect the wiring and place in a battery. However if the battery runs out the person will not be able to move and would require a crowbar to set them free. 18. Frank roars "COWARDS!" as the men ran off into cover. As one attempts to sneak off, Frank notices him and stretches out his sword arm towards him. Quickly tapping a button on the sword arm with the hand of his shield arm, a small platform with a hole inside rises and shoots off a steel dart towards the man.
  19. Yeah, this seems like hardcore meta and validhunting. Another thing to add. You don't just go into a strange ship without at least a medic, or a armed person to back up in a fight, you never know what's inside.
  20. Frank quickly knocks out one man before he is able to get a shot off, he then blocks a laser pistol bolt with his shield and moves towards a man scrambling to get his colt 1911 unjammed.
  21. Frank, seemingly ignoring the shot to his leg, decapitates the man who shot at him and charges shield first into the remaining four.
  22. Frank halts momentarily as he pulls out his shield and energy sword. As the airlock begins to normalize he charges into the room of people, screaming incomprehensible phrases.
  23. I have faith in Hyacinth, +1.
  24. Frank begins to rapidly stomp his way towards a near-by airlock and begins to enter the ship "I think thisss airlock goess into the bay you mentioned earlier, got one minute before the drugsss kick in.".
  25. Frank quickly takes the container he had sniffed earlier and puts what looks to be a small herb into his mouth. As he chews it he announces "You're all ssslow, I'm heading out.". Moving out the airlock he propels himself towards the ship and activates his magboots, stomping around the ship towards the launch tube before contacting the other operatives via headset "Near the bomb sssite, waiting on otherssss. You all got a few minutessss before the drugsss kick in.".
