I agree with your points. First off, in a lot of situations that ERT is called for, people are going to be packing (And sometimes walking armouries). This can just complicate things if ERT is trying to deal with something and people get in the way. Second, We don't have time to keep asking you to stand down. Third, this is why people ask you to be quiet.

No, you go onto the nice safe shuttle, leave, and then tell CentCom "Track your pods down, there might be armed men on-board.".

Yeah, I was there during this round. From what I understand, it went like this. -I give captain durand, ICly excited to work, OOCly kind of wondering why he would want one. -Suddenly, they suspect engineering already. -Captain tries to kill members of engineering with the durand that had a diamond drill, engineers escape. -They're hunted, some die, security has a in-fight (Nandabun's warden). -Captain gets machine gun on durand. -ERT is finally called, not much help there. -After captain (MrIamaTool) is arrested by ERT for the shit he pulled, he ghosts. -ERT tries to restore order, calls shuttle, everyone leaves. -Just as the Ha'kims who have been hounded the entire round are about to leave, Alberyk hunts them down as the RD and kills them with a decloner. This whole round was just fucked. The captain and HoS twisted details and assumed engineering were terrorists, the officers mostly acted like mindless drones, and I made a giant mistake by giving the captain a durand.

I didn't enjoy this event. I expected SOMETHING from security. RP, interrogations, being scanned, but nope. Just got thrown in without a word. Then, as I tried to RP with people, I would get ignored as they left. This ended with Jim gassing us for...some reason despite there was only 1 person try to break out, and then a borg came and harmbatoned one of us to death and nearly caved my skull in. Then, there was nothing going on with general muted by the AI until that clusterfuck ERT came along.

I've lost interest. Might come by every now and again, but it's been fun. I'll still remember busting Huffie for being a sexual devient, slashing through people as a pirate with a flaming monkey at my back, and shotgunning zombies in full riot armour. But, I think I'm gonna move on to other servers and resign from the DO corps. It's really been great.

There already is an excuse to fight off cult if it gets too insane. That means they're executing people in the halls, so of course people would grab crossbows/knives/shotguns, etc. Anyways, great suggestion, but can we buff cult a little too? It seems like most of the time, cult gets fucked over.
