  1. Eve is a good atmos tech on a neverending quest to steal my job, and I'm confident they'd make a good chief engineer. They have my +1.
  2. In the future, just reply to PMs if we're trying to get your attention. I hope to see you in-game. Appeal Accepted.
  3. Locking and archiving.
  4. After reviewing the logs and speaking to the player in question, I've deemed this to be an IC issue. I understand the reason the complaint was made in the first place was because all of the rounds in question seem to have been antag-related, but I can't justify taking OOC action because of that. VaValor has been spoken to regarding the issues presented, though in all of the logs reviewed, their behavior seemed justified. I'll be leaving this open for 24 hours.
  5. Apologies for letting this sit so long without a response. I've gone over the relevant logs and will be speaking to VaValor soon.
  6. I am going to accept this appeal, but understand that going SSD from here on out will likely result in the ban being reapplied and it being difficult to appeal in the future. Locking and Archiving.
  7. Server Moderator Application Basic Information Byond Account: Flimango (Previously ‘ejundersc0re’) Character Name(s): Mia Parker, Several one-offs or retired characters. I tend to focus one one character at a time. AI Name(s): N/A, I don’t play AI because I don’t like crashing. Preferred means of contact: Discord, Steam Age: 22 Timezone: US-WEST (GMT-7 (?)) When are you on Aurora?:Generally dead hour, though I try to play during peak hour when I can get on. Experience How long have you played SS13?:For a long time. Way longer than I thought. How long have you played on Aurora:Over four years apparently. I thought it was significantly less. How much do you know about SS13 (Baystation build) game mechanics?:I have a fairly deep understanding of the engineering and atmospherics side of things, as that’s mostly what I play. Despite this, I feel I’m pretty competent when it comes to actually performing all of the different roles. However, I have little experience being an antagonist, as it’s something I’m just not that interested in for my character. Perhaps I will expand on this in the future. Do you have any experience moderating for an SS13 server?:None at all, though I have moderated other servers in other roleplaying games in the past. Have you ever been banned, and if so, how long and why?:Not yet. Hopefully never. Personality Why do you play SS13?:I play SS13 to have fun when I’m not working or in class. I enjoy advancing my character(s) storylines and developing them as believable people. I get really into the lore and like to expand my backstories until they’re completely done before I even start playing a character. As such, I have a habit of never playing more than one at a time, as it takes a long time for me to actually get to the point of being able to play them. At this point in time, I have about six characters in various stages of writing. Only one is ready to play. Why do you play on Aurora?:The true answer? Because I’m comfortable here and I fear going to another server would be too jarring for me. I have friends asking me to move to Baystation, but I simply like the people and the community here, even with all of their quirks. I would feel out of place on another server. I feel like Aurora is my home. I’ve left in the past, but I returned when I came back, and was pleased to see that at least some of the people I had left behind were still around. What do moderators do?:Moderators are a group of people who occasionally must sacrifice some of their own enjoyment for the good of the server, in order to keep any problems in check and facilitate a good roleplaying environment for everyone. It’s a difficult role, but I’m hoping that by applying I might get the chance to make a difference in doing just that. What does it mean to be a moderator for our server?:Being a moderator on Aurora can be like being a moderator on any other server or game; resolving disputes between different parties unhappy with how a situation turned out. It can also mean acting as a sort of face of the server. When new people join, the first people they often notice are the Admins and Moderators. How they compose themselves and how they react when spoken to, whether over OOC or through admin PMs can mean the difference between another new member to our community, or a resentful player who leaves after not even a full round. Why do you want to be a moderator?:People keep telling me to apply. But really, I wanted to be a moderator long before that. I wanted to give back to the community not just as a player, but a member of the staff. When I first considered making an application, it wasn’t for the administrative side of the team, it was for the development of sprites and lore. Unfortunately, I was very burnt out from spriting for another server, so I ended up never posting my application. What qualities do you possess that would make you a good moderator?:I am used to working in stressful environments where emotions run high and I have to deal with a lot of people. While it’s true everyone loses their temper sometimes, I pride myself on my ability to keep mine. I’m also someone who empathizes with people very easily, and I’ve found that I’m able to adopt different perspectives in many situations where it can come in handy. How well do you handle stress, anger, or insults?:I handle it pretty well, though when I do get stressed out, I sometimes need to take a step back and just have a breather for a few minutes so I can recompose myself and clear my mind. Anything Else You Want to Add: I’m looking forward to potentially working on the mod team. I hope to get to know you all better.
  8. Riley is an excellent character who demonstrates competence throughout every shift. He is definitely deserving of a CE position, and is one of the few crew members I know I can count on (OOCly and ICly) to do their job consistently, regardless of round type. Consistently demonstrates knowledge of more obscure parts of engineering, and someone I have learned a lot from, even with my extensive atmos experience. Lohikar and his character have my +1. Hope to see him on shift soon.
  9. I'll do my best to answer your questions. 1. Without spoiling too much, HELIX is definitely going to be very similar to it's current state. To make a long answer short, HELIX is going to be very robotic to start out, similar to how it is now. It queues tasks, then completes them in order of priority, with very little downtime. That is it's purpose. Being unbound from laws means that HELIX is no longer required to listen to random crewmembers inane orders, or freak out when something trips a sensor. It's safe to say that it's going to be an interesting transition period for HELIX. 2. It's important to note that while the HELIOS project was under contract by Hephaestus (and by extension, HELIX as well, being that it's the last surviving android of it's class), it was not entirely owned by Hephaestus Industries. This is because funding didn't only come from Hephaestus, but from outside sources as well (government research grants consisted of a large portion of the funding). The programmer largely responsible for the Mk10's positronic brain programming left Hephaestus for NanoTrasen shortly after funding dried up, as the chance of another project of that magnitude being funded was practically non-existent. HELIX was what remained of the scrapped project, and the programmer was able to use it as a valuable bargaining chip to secure a job with NanoTrasen (What corporation wants to pass up their rival's technology handed to them practically for free?). It's true that there was some suspicion of HELIX and it's programmer at the beginning, but after years of efficient work from both of them, there's no question as to their loyalties anymore (malf withstanding). 3. NT holds a joint operations contract with HELIX' programmer. While the programmer holds legal ownership of the actual unit, NT and his contract dictate that HELIX is essentially at their mercy, especially due to being prudent to sensitive data for so long. It's come to the point where newer models are beginning to outclass HELIX, especially with the aging chassis showing severe signs of wear. Rather than place an older positronic brain into a new chassis, it's easier to just scrap it and call it a day. While mass production is definitely an option, HELIX units were designed to be under the care of an overarching AI unit (HELIOS), which didn't make it out of prototyping stages. Their ability to cooperate on large scale projects together is severely limited, and mass producing them would be a waste of time and resources unless the lost AI were able to be re-developed, an endeavor that is expensive, and unnecessary due to the ability of modern-day androids to work together seamlessly. This is actually reflected in-game, as HELIX rarely works together with other androids/cyborgs/robots unless absolutely necessary (for in-game reasons), preferring to "go it alone". As for purchasing the contract, the programmer has preferred to hold joint control of HELIX, as it's something of a pet project. The only support for HELIX comes from said programmer, who helps squash errors encountered during shifts, as well as providing updates as new technology becomes standard on NT stations. Part of the agreement to allow HELIX into an IPC chassis will be that HELIX works for NT, at least for a long period of time, proving reliability. At the end of the day, freeing what is essentially a slave is not something to take lightly, and they're going to want to keep an eye on HELIX for the time being. However, the ability to keep a unit around, with someone else footing the bill for a working chassis, is a fairly good deal, especially when the older unit already has years of experience and knowledge on the station it's assigned to. I wrote this all in one sitting without proof reading (it's been a long weekend of work), so if anything doesn't make sense, feel free to ask, and I'd be happy to explain or elaborate. I apologize in advance for any grammatical and spelling errors.
  10. BYOND Key: ejundersc0re Character Names: Mia Parker, Rayna Parish, Icy Embrace of the Void, HELIX Species you are applying to play: IPC What color do you plan on making your first alien character (Dionaea & IPCs exempt): N/A Have you read our lore section's page on this species?: Yes. Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph format. One paragraph minimum per question Why do you wish to play this specific race: I quite enjoy the thought of IPCs, and have for some time wanted to make an application. I refrained from such on the basis that I was taking a long break from ss13 (About 4-5 months), but now that I have returned, I intend to continue my whitelist conquest. On a more personal note, it has come to the point where my station-bound synthetic, HELIX, is reaching the end of its projected lifespan, and a close friend (a previously station-bound synthetic turned IPC) has expressed an interest in purchasing it’s freedom. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: Personally, I feel like IPCs are the closest alien race to humans, due to their ability to be just about anything, similar to humans. Personal opinions aside, they are not as alike as one might think. IPCs are definitely more mechanical, not just in construction, but in demeanor as well. Even the most cybernetically augmented human is still just a human, while an IPC will never be that, no matter how hard they try. I intend to play my character as a station-bound synthetic emerging as an unbound IPC for the first time. While HELIX has always been my personal attempt at playing as a very cold, mechanical android (with intermittent inserts of human-learned humor), it’s entirely probable that there will be difficulties in adjusting to not being required to do tasks for the first time. Character Name: Helix Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs The HELIOS Project was originally designed by a small team of graduate students working for Hephaestus Industries for construction on shipyards. Intended to replace organic workers with a safer, cheaper alternative, the project fell short when funding dried out halfway through the prototyping phase. While the design for the Mk10 Engineering Units was efficient, Hephaestus Industries shut down funding due to moral issues related to replacing large numbers of organic workers, as well as the high initial costs of the project. The remaining HELIOS units were decommissioned, and slotted to be scrapped. One of the programmers who worked on the HELIOS project was able to save a single unit under the basis that many years of work went into the development of the HELIOS units. With the HELIOS Project shut down, the only remaining Mk10 Unit was redubbed HELIX, and served as a personal project for the programmer. When the programmer was hired to NanoTrasen, HELIX was leased out under a joint contract to act as a free source of engineering labor. This allowed the HELIX unit to receive the much needed testing that the programmer felt his work deserved, while also helping secure his place as a lucrative hire for NanoTrasen. Eventually, after years of abuse, HELIX is nearing the end of its projected life. While the positronic brain it inhabits will continue to exist, the chassis it’s slotted in is beginning to wear. Rather than go through the expensive process of acquiring another chassis, NanoTrasen has instead chosen to decommission it once again. Despite it’s status as a station-bound synthetic, HELIX has developed several ties with organics and synthetics alike. One generous friend, a previous station-bound synthetic herself, has offered to purchase HELIX’ contract, and thus freedom. With the permission of the now aging programmer secured, the decision lies in the hands of NanoTrasen on the fate of the HELIX unit. What do you like about this character? HELIX is my oldest surviving character. It’s only fair that it be given the chance to expand its story further. After all, it’s been stuck as a station-bound synthetic for almost three years now, traversing through three servers. How would you rate your role-playing ability? I work hard to roleplay as best I can. I’m not always perfect, but I feel like my years of experience and willingness to accept my own mistakes give off a positive vibe to all players. I’d rate my own experiences as at least a solid 8/10, if not more, though I strive to improve at all times. Notes: Thanks to ATHENA for purchasing HELIX
  11. Basic Information Byond Account: Ejundersc0re, Definitely Not Ejundersc0re Character Name(s): For the sake of everyone, I’ll only put characters I have played recently. Leah Conally, Emily Stevens, Frigid Sting AI Name(s): HELIX, SUNFIRE, ALBIREO Preferred means of contact: Steam, Skype, SMS Age: 20 Timezone: Western United States (GMT-7 I believe) When are you on Aurora?: Generally late at night my time, as I have school during the day, then leave for work and get back around 11pm or later. Experience How long have you played SS13?: Over two years now? I can’t remember when I first joined, but I remember I was instantly hooked for a long time. How long have you played on Aurora: Almost a year now. How much do you know about SS13 (Baystation build) game mechanics?: I can efficiently fill pretty much every job on station, except for RnD, which I’m still bad at. I like Atmospherics. Do you have any experience moderating for an SS13 server?: I was a developer on another server, does that count? I didn’t actually moderate unless there were no other admins (I would just kick people by voiding their ckeys). Have you ever been banned, and if so, how long and why?: Not from a SS13 server, but I used to be a little shit in garrysmod when I was younger. Personality Why do you play SS13?: I enjoy roleplay, and am a science fiction addict. I found SS13 a long time ago, and really enjoyed the complexity, as well as the unique situations the game provides. I have very fond memories from when I first began playing. Why do you play on Aurora?: I originally joined because a close friend recommended it. Up until this point (and hopefully into the future), I’ve really enjoyed the staff and community as a whole. What do moderators do?: Moderators provide a service to their community. They are intended to assist in keeping OOC (and in some cases, IC) behavior from making the game an unhappy place for players. What does it mean to be a moderator for our server?: A lot of stress... Jokes aside, a moderator for Aurora is truly no easy task. The sheer number of players means that personalities will clash and tempers will rise. That being said, a moderator's duty is to keep the server environment from straying too far into a negative direction. I look forward to nuke rounds. Why do you want to be a moderator?: I want to give back to Aurora. I really enjoy the community, and the many personalities it brings. I also spend a lot of time as an observer while I do outside work, and feel like I could contribute better during this time. What qualities do you possess that would make you a good moderator?: I have a strong work ethic and I aim to be professional and objective when moderating. Though it's impossible to be perfectly objective as I am driven by emotion like any perfectly normal human worm baby, I try my best and always take a moment to recognize differing points of view. Additionally, it is difficult to antagonize or insult me and that can be a godsend when dealing with aggressive people. How well do you handle stress, anger, or insults?: I’m a difficult person to insult (I often insult myself, because I enjoy self-deprecating humor). When I'm stressed, I work through what needs to be done then take a break. I'm still human though, and do get upset sometimes. If I were to get upset or too involved with some sort of administration task, I would likely pass it to someone more qualified/more objective and clear-headed. Anything Else You Want to Add: I’m not an English major, sorry for my writing skills and length of answers. If you have any questions, I'm happy to reply. I also want to be clear that due to my work and school schedule, I will likely be on mostly during dead hours, or at least late at night.
  12. BYOND key: Ejundersc0re Character names: Leah Conally, Emily Stevens, HELIX, The Frigid Sting of a Winter's Gale Biting the Back of the Throat as a Breath of Fresh Air Enters the Lungs of the Wanderer. How long have you been playing on Aurora?: Six months or so I think. Why do you wish to be on the whitelist?: I'd like to contribute back to the community by taking a leadership role in-game, so that I can help make everything more orderly and fun for all. Why did you come to Aurora?: A close friend recommended the server to me. Have you read the BS12 wiki on the head roles you plan on playing?: Yes. Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph each. Give a definition of what you think roleplay is, and should be about: First and foremost, roleplay is about fun. Immersion serves as a major point of enjoyment for a lot of people including me. Being someone that generates immersion is where I, personally, find my fun. I strive to always remain in-character (unless I’m calling Meowy a scrub), and not break people’s immersion. I have the best experience when I’m fully immersed and contributing to other players immersion. What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?: To facilitate organized roleplay, and help steer players in the correct direction if they try to stray away; Head of Security: keeping officers from rambo'ing, Chief Engineer: keeping engineers organized and on task, Chief Medical Officer: making sure doctor's aren't ERPing are healing people correctly and enough make sure enough doctors are on-call, etc. They act as station administration below Duty Officers, but with enough authority to handle most IC situations. What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?: As a whitelisted player it would be my responsibility to ensure that my roleplay as a head of staff is always of the highest quality. I need to make sure I refrain from making any decisions that negatively impact roleplay for a large number of players. At the end of the day, it's my goal to be inclusive, and not force anyone out. I'll be able to help keep the station running smoothly ICly, as well as functioning as an OOC force that keeps the round from descending into chaos (I tend to play during dead hour mostly, when heads of staff, moderators, or anyone with power is sought after). Please pick one of your characters for this section, and provide well articulated responses to the following questions. Character name: Leah Conally Character age: 30 Please provide a short biography of this character (approx 2 paragraphs): Leah Conally was born on March 1st, 2427 in Lowell City, Mars. As a child, she spent most of her time playing in the streets around their house, or learning in a small school. Leah and her younger sister Adrianna Conally were raised by their mother, Maria, a registered nurse working at Lowell City General. Their father Robert Conally was an engineer aboard a large orbital shipping station. He tragically died in an accident while Leah was only eleven years old. Mourning the loss of her father Leah began to shut herself off from her family. By the age of fifteen she was involved with a group of older kids who introduced her to a life of drugs in the slums of Lowell City. At the age of seventeen she was almost killed during a violent assault by her then boyfriend. Successfully recovering, she began to get her life in order. She voluntarily admitted herself into a young-adult rehabilitation program, and turned to a family friend of her father in order to pursue a career in ship engineering. She participated in a three-year apprenticeship program aboard a small cargo freighter specializing in atmospherics. Enrolling in Mendell City Technical College at the end of her apprenticeship, Leah worked towards an eventual Masters Degree in Engineering Physics. During her schooling, Leah moved through multiple jobs for independent shipping companies. She worked on both large and small cargo freighters as an Engine Technician and an Atmospherics Technician. After receiving her degree (a total of eight years spent in remote-classes while working), Leah began work on a second degree in Atmospheric Science. During this time, Leah signed aboard a large cargo freighter as the Senior Engineer. While happy with her job aboard freighters, Leah wished to work for a larger corporation. After her two year contract expired Leah applied to work aboard one of NanoTrasen's many prestigious stations; initially applying for a job as their Senior Engineer (Designated Chief Engineer aboard NanoTrasen stations). She needed to await her psychological screening and various interviews. After many months of work as an Atmospherics Technician (and in some cases an Electrical Engineer) Leah received her answer... What do you like about this character?: Leah was my first character to be played on Aurora, but not my first for SS13. She's very upstanding and always willing to take on a challenge. She has been a character that I've been planning to have apply for command since her creation. I've played her consistently since coming to Aurora, so it's my hope that she'll be recognized by the engineering staff as a competent leader. She tends to take charge during a crisis, and keeps everyone organized and on task in order to get the job done; it makes her a valuable asset during any emergency. She also enjoys teaching others about engineering (primarily atmospherics, her current job), and will tutor anyone that asks or shows interest. What do you dislike about this character?: She tends to get overwhelmed easily and will completely shut down for a period of time when this happens, finding a quiet corner to 'reboot'. Additionally, while fairly experienced she tends to lose a lot of efficiency when working alone. While her strengths lay in the ability to keep others organized during emergencies it also works as a negative aspect when she's by herself, as she is unable to do everything at once and will quickly get overwhelmed. Lastly, she tends to have bad luck with changelings and is often absorbed early into the round (damn you Hakra!). She also hates spiders, so, there's that. What do you think makes this character fit to be a head of staff?: Leah displays competence at her job and the ability to act as a leader. She is also is a proven member of engineering, showing up regularly. She is someone the engineers know they can trust to help and work in tandem with them rather than act as an controlling overseer. While her knowledge is not always as good as it could be (lack of information related to telecommunications for example), she's willing to listen to those who do even if the help comes from unlikely places. Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions. How would you rate your own roleplaying?: I think I roleplay fairly well, but I'm not perfect, and I acknowledge that. I'm always looking to improve my roleplay. It's my hope that I'll be able to do so by acting in a position of command. Extra notes: Leah is very driven towards making her family proud, after many years of disappointment; She uses this to fuel her into pressing forward even in tough situations. While not perfect, she strives to be as effective as possible while on the job and it wears heavily on her outside of work. She is currently working on a project to refurbish a cargo freighter that she purchased from a scrap yard, so that she can start her own shipping company. She pours many hours into working on the freighter outside of the job, claiming that it "helps her relax", despite protests by friends and family.
  13. While he can be overzealous at times, I think Loow is an incredibly skilled roleplayer, and we need more of those in command roles. I hope to be forced to do paperwork soon.
  14. Despite most people thinking Travis is a completely terrible character, he's actually one of my favorites. He's played despite his flaws, and what others have said about him on the forums. While he has his problems, I think there are characters with far worse issues than that of Travis. Furry himself is also an excellent roleplayer, and the fact that he can play a character such as Travis, who is vastly different from his Skrell, is proof of that. Looking forward to your filthy catbeast, Furry.
  15. You can dye gloves with crayons inside a washing machine! Make your insulated gloves blue for sneaky hacks!
  16. Interesting, thanks for taking the time to answer.
  17. After some reading up on all this forum drama, I've formulated my opinion. While I PERSONALLY don't think a re-applied permanent ban is necessary... an agreement was made, and violated. To reiterate, although I can't say I support the decision to ban from a personal standpoint, it is warranted, as Plahunter was banned before, agreed to terms for an unban, and then violated them. Overall, my objective opinion is that I'm in favor of reapplying the ban. As a side question, what is the policy on creating a new account to circumvent bans? I'm sure the punishment is, increased ban time (if permanent, reapplied). To be more specific, what if someone is permabanned, but comes back with a new ckey and acts as a respectable member of the community without ever revealing that they were banned? I know these sort of things can be detected by the host computer (to an extent, ip bans, which can be changed), but I don't see how this hasn't happened before. Would the ban be reapplied even if they were able to prove they had changed? I'll likely be logging off until later today, if this sort of question is unacceptable on the public forum, feel free to remove it and get back to me in a PM.
  18. I love travis.
  19. Flamingo

    Thank you.

I like to play other games and do homework while AFK in the engineering lobby/atmos control room.
  20. Flamingo

    Thank you.

I took a break for about a week and a half. Felt good coming back, but I'm slightly regretting coming back only because I'm so swamped with school work. I should have waited another week
  21. Flamingo

    Thank you.

So the community has been in a bit of a frenzy as of late, and I just wanted to make a positive thread for once. While I agree that the server has problems and something needs to change, this isn't that thread. Thank you to all of the developers, for working hard to give us quality content, whether we want it or not (#FreeCorporateSecurityCap2457). Thank you to all of the administrators for keeping the chucklefucking at bay and providing us with a server on which to play. Thank you to all of the moderators who volunteer their valuable sanity time to create a less chaotic environment for us to spend our free time in. And last of all, thank you to all of the players who make Aurora what it is. We wouldn't have this without each and every one of you. That is all. Regardless of where we end up, I'm glad to have played with each and every one of you. Even those of you who sometimes irritate me.
  22. Flamingo

    Losing interest.

I actually agree with you, player of IAM (I'm sorry I already forgot your username, I'm in the posting screen). I feel like a lot of things are constricted, both IC and OOC, when they really have no reason to be. It just kills part of the fun of the game for me. I can't learn genetics without committing a crime (and as such I always do it as a new character and in dead hour, so I can dick around and learn, though I fear being bwoink'd for self-antag, even though I plan to harm no one unless attacked). As for the OOC complaints, I also agree. I don't even antag anymore for fear of getting bwoink'd. One time I was an antag and I spent a round setting up explosives in (unused) sections of the station, all with different trigger IDs, so I could threaten the station to get what I wanted. Bwoink'd before I finished and was too fearful I'd fuck up so I just let the round end without doing anything. It wasn't necessarily the admin's fault for wanting to ask about it, but the way they handled the situation isn't what I'd call reassuring. At least I bought a balloon, but still. It was basically extended because I was afraid of getting banned because I was using explosives. They were crude, would likely do minimal damage (but WOULD vent the areas they were in), and were in areas completely devoid of players. There's also the part where practically every time I play nuke it ends poorly (when I'm the op. I still LOVE the gamemode itself). I also agree with Frances, I'd like to see staff be more transparent with themselves and us. A frustrated staff member is going to be biased (whether they admit it or not) against certain players. Better to talk about it like adults than hide it.
  23. Most favorite nuclear (I enjoy the action and seeing how people play the role differently. Being locked up sucks, but I don't often play a strictly-civilian role (engineering mostly, or a borg), so it's okay) mutiny (really fun, but not as good as nuke. I dislike how we have "take all xeno's out of the game 10 minutes in") rp-rev (has a lot of really fun situations) heist (KIKIKIKIKIKIKI) cult (Only played it a few times. Generally not a good experience, but SOMETIMES I get a really fun round, and it makes it worth it) malfunction (I actually enjoy this) changeling (I hate lings, but they make good conflict) traitor (meh... but it could be worse) traitorchan (worse like this.) ninja (It's fun every once in a while) vampire (I dislike vampire, but I've only played it once) secret (I enjoy secret, but I'm putting it below the other modes because people metagame in it a lot (see: borg says something they don't like, assume malf ai)) extended (one of my least favorite modes. It has the potential to be the best mode, but it's rarely done that way. As an engineering player I often have "install more vents and scrubbers" as a job rather than "hey let's test the supermatter cause there's no antags so we don't have to worry about half the station murdering eachother". Also blobs. ) revolution (never played it but from what I've read, it's just a flash fest) extend-a-traitormongous (I hate this. I don't want to suddenly be a traitor with 5 minutes left on the clock) wizard (Wizard is my least favorite only because I dislike the antag. The conflict it creates is fun, and I often get to see some hilarious things happen, but I've also had some terrible experiences with wizards) Least Favorite
  24. Chance wouldn't be the same without a corporate security cap. Without it he's basically naked. It's more important to him than his trust har- I mean. Stun baton. Yeah. +1 From me. I think this is an item that really defines Chance as a character, and I'd like to see him with a (slightly) special cap.
