I like this. It makes it easier on admins who have to remove traitor status from people early on, and then go around trying to find another willing participant.

I like the idea behind the PR lore wise, but I don’t want to see Sol Common be taken from humans, so I’m not supportive. You could honestly justify a human knowing how to use Skrell language if you really wanted to. Special Cochlear implants for hearing pitches outside the normal range. Voice modulator/synthesizer for speaking said pitches. Eridani cyberpunk fantasy at its finest. Is it cool? Fuck yeah, but I think people would have a problem with losing their private language as well. You could of course build a translator every round with IE, but at least you need to put in work for that.

I want to start by saying that the length of the ban was chosen to ensure that you would see it when you came back, coupled with the fact that you already had been sent a notification once, and received two notes on the matter, as this is only one of several times that you’ve been found AFK for an extended period of time. If you need to leave or go do something, stow your gear and head to cryo, or at the very least, ahelp and let a staff member know. Business aside, I am okay with lifting this ban early as long as you are willing to make an effort to keep yourself from AFKing in the future. Again, at the very least, an emergency “g2g emergency” ahelp is all that’s needed, and a staff member can take care of things for you.

The nature of the offense (disconnecting), means that we can not raise issue about it to you, since you are not there. Here are the warnings and bans placed on your account, for reference. I am going to lift this ban for you, as the intention of the ban was for you to see that there was an issue when you tried to join the next time. If you need to leave in the future, and can't put your gear away and make your way to the cryogenics room, please just ahelp and let us know. As someone who occasionally plays a character with some cybernetics, I can get behind this idea, if it were implemented in a way that makes it at least somewhat difficult to abuse. I like the idea of using loadout points for this. Currently my loadout is filled with a bunch of random clothing options and a lunch box. It would be neat to have something that pertains to my character more.
