Locking and Archiving.

Hi there, sorry for the delay. After reviewing everything available to me at this time, I've decided that this ban was justified. Do keep in mind in future that there is always escalation needed for things, and escalation does not include your antag buddy being kidnapped. As the ban was only for three days, there is no further action needed as the ban is already over. Also keep in mind your knowledge of OOC (Out of character) knowledge in IC (in character) situations. If there are no further issues, I will lock and archive this in twenty four hours.

We see them all the time though. They should remain triggered by engineers, as no one else can fix the damage they cause, or the atmospheric damage they cause. At low pop, before the restriction was added, blob would devour the entire ship, people were spawning into no atmosphere and dying because it was spreading so far and there was no one to finish it. Entire levels were decimated by them. It was restricting roleplay. It happens all the time. The trigger for it is a SURGEON being in the round, and even then, at highpop, it has to compete with other, mundane events (news events, lights and cameras going out, and so on). This should also remain for, as someone stated above, appendix removal is locked behind surgeon and physician only. No one else in medical can remove them, nor would they have the skill to. In regards to the hivebots spawning, they're locked behind a number of people I'm pretty sure. Leave them in. It creates good teamwork, but again, just having them restricted on where they spawn so there's no stupid locations such as inside atmospheric tanks (had to move one of those once), crew armory (twelve hours ago as of writing this post), and other places not everyone can get into.

Random question. When I found your body, you were in the engineering area, as a miner. Miners are not meant to set the engine, were you aware of this as well?

I have found a definition of self antagging for you, just to hopefully shed a little bit of light on the situation. If you are ever, ever unsure on what will happen to a character, or what something means, AHELP it. We are here to answer questions. Also, people are more than happy to answer questions on our discords, in OOC and in LOOC. You can also find things on our various wiki pages. If you need links to all of these, I can provide them.
