Despite our complex relations in the past I feel you've been fairer than most and are usually the first to point out rule violations and bad play. I'm +1ing this but I'm curious as to why you want to rejoin moderation again? You don't have to answer if you don't want to it's just really strange for me. I was under the impression you were basically a moderator without being a moderator, did something warrant putting on the badge again?

The changes you suggest are interesting but I feel it removes the highly deterministic hierarchy of Vaurca, which isn't a bad thing out of hand but it could be a dangerous one. In our current lore if Unbound Drone X was born to be a miner they would be a miner. Its body would in-fact be suited for mining regardless of their own feelings on the matter. How would your changes, if at all change this?

I worked on these a long time ago as I was making company types of robotic heads. I basically forgot about it until now. Anyway like there's different robotic prosthetics from different companies, this would make it more obvious where a baseline IPC was manufactured. As it stands now anything unable to use ladders or possess a hand teleporter must go EVA to return to the other station levels. This is significant because if a cyborg were needed to treat someone injured on the telecommunications level then they would need to go EVA with the injured person to go to medical. More to come....

Replace soporific with Tramadol in all borgs. Surgeries unless in absolute triage situations shouldn't be things you rush into. Getting the chemicals needed should be a secondary primary step. With Tramadol even if your actuator deep in flesh and bone you can still operate on someone and they not go into pain crit if you ABSOLUTELY need to. I.E station on fire, everyone dying surgeries everywhere.

I remembered some of the wonderful things Alberyk has helped me with in the past as an antag, Like the time SPESS WORMS attacked the station. I'll retract this complaint as looking back it was a very silly thing to get mad at you about. And while I don't fully understand why I wasn't given koi's I guess you know more about what is good for a round than I do. If there was anything from this I would have just liked an explanation rather than a flat refusal.

There's so much to love here. One of my biggest problems writing about Vaurca VR is that there isn't much to go off of other than it's a perfect, happy place. I focused on this in my own application, the severe withdrawal of an entire people pulled from what's effectively heaven into a world already full of its own problems that doesn't have room for the hives. I don't think VR would be like dreaming, because dreams can be horrible and again, I made sure to note the difference between dreaming and VR. As for VR withdrawal, I would argue that prolonged exposure to perfect conditions dull the minds perceptions of their current situation. Perfect happiness thus becomes meaningless if you cannot compare it to any suffering or sadness. This has some very real studies to back it up(in humans at least.) Which would lead me to conclude that Vaurca probably feel muted happiness when exposed to something that does make them happy as how can anything in the imperfect real world compare to a perfect VR world designed to minimize unhappiness and maximize happiness? These are two questions that really bothered me about Vaurca but I hope you get the job! +1

I was the AI for the first instance. I found a lot of what CUBIE said to be very disturbing considering they are a lawed synthetic slaved to me. It's not the first time they have been over emotional for particular circumstances. In this particular round I informed CUBIE to take measures to avoid that kind of severe damage again, and to run if in conflict. I also told them to ask the chief medical officer for permissions IF ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY to defend themselves. None of this was a problem, the problem stemmed from CUBIE seeking conflict, actually returning right back to the bar after they were repaired.

That is pretty funny...I didn't see it as I left to check if xenobio still had its phoron crystals. I've got nothing against your adminning , indeed you are probably one of the best admins. I just don't feel as if this skill translates very well into game mastering. I was being a shit and I apologize for raging and I do not deny that I deserved my ban but I really don't understand how you say you can't be involved with this. I might be missing something but being screwed over for trying to develop rp is my perception of the round. As I said before short of abandoning the entire merc team and taking the ship, actions which were likely to be reported anyway there was nothing else I could do.

When you read the logs you can also see that I just went along with the group's decision to do a gimmick. I was fine not having your help but because you decided to give things that's when we were stalled even longer. I can't leave without the rest of the team as a merc so there's LITERALLY nothing I could have done other than sit in one spot to minimize the phoron I was using, which I did. What could I have done differently then? Just leave without the rest of the merc party? We only left when we did because I was telling them in AOOC how close to dying I was. This is extremely unfair and the flat denial with no thought given to the context as well as outright lying to me is why I raged. The first thing I asked you for was Kois. I would have been totally fine not getting any special powers or anything if I could have just that but it's ok to give me a chain sword? I don't understand why one would be ok and one wouldn't be.

I made it specifically as to not reveal information about the round. It was a voted merc round so anything said doesn't actually reveal anything about the actual plans of our antag group. As for Albreyk you were giving things to the antags as well as handling AOOC. I ahelped to get maybe some help from another admin on your decision to not provide any means for me to survive before we ever arrived on the station. I was already dead by then so how exactly aren't you involved? If practicality is an issue then why would a antag Liidra attack a station with no phoron or kois? A hour spent prepping for merc and 5 minutes actually doing anything isn't fun or engaging in any way for anyone.

We got one and I was ready almost immediately. They take about an hour to be fully prepared and by then I, a Vaurca merc was nearly out of phoron gas. I asked several times if it could be possible to refill it or to give me kois but was denied every time. I explained that this forces me to play aggressively to get kois but it was passed off. I successfully break into xenobotany with no casualties with only about 4 pressure left of phoron when a rad storm hits. By now the other mercs were just introducing themselves and their gimmick to everyone else and the kois ends up not growing fast enough. I die from oxy damage only having interacted with two people. As admin Alberyk is amazing, but as a game master he is not. In this instance he not only dicked me over for seemingly no reason but I feel punished for trying to develop a antag RP instead of just mindlessly murdering my way through the station. I asked to complain to an admin not involved with my issue when he answered claiming to also not be involved in the issue. I had a ban applied to me which I feel is just, I was very much raging at this point but I can't help but feel Alberyk tried to bait for this by being passive aggressive liar and this isn't really becoming of an admin. I withdraw my complaint, while 1138 is bias, it doesn't affect his/her judgement from what I can see, and indeed recently my interactions with them have been positive. If anything, I would not rip on someone in OOC unless they are being a cuck.(Which I sometimes can be one.)

Now that I've read the appeal again, I remember the situation. I'm really not sure what gave you the impression that I was directly involved, considering I was in the lobby the entire time - possibly barring at the end when I observed. Creating baseless accusations of bias isn't the correct way to go about this complaint. If you suspected foul play then, you should have stepped forward so you weren't sitting with false information this entire time. As I said before, decisions are run through the staff on the server much of the time. My decision in that instance is no exception. As far as I'm aware, if you feel a staff member cannot remain unbiased and respectful you can request another handle it - as long as you do have that valid reason. You've said the same thing over the course of years.Sometimes with long stretches of time where I do not see or interact with you in any way. In this very complaint you've already called me a valid hunting synthetic, I'm not saying it's a conspiracy. I'm saying your bias. You will always be bias, and you do not care if someone does anything different than your preconceived notions and if not just for me, but for many people. Someone like that shouldn't be an admin. In any event, me explaining this to you over and over again isn't constructive to the complaint, neither is your attacks on me, implied or otherwise. If you've nothing else to add, please allow the investigation to progress in this complaint.

It was only later did I find out that admins are expected to not administer an event that they themselves were apart of. Despite this, all of this it isn't possible to prove if turtles was bias or not in the situation, and indeed it's not what this complaint is about. This is about overt bias I will never ever overcome to 1138, a prospective member of the administration staff. They've made abundantly clear that their perspective of me will not change, ever. I am afraid then what will happen if I am ever in a situation that this person can decide the rightness or wrongness of my actions when whether or not they are is already a moot point.

The game ID had nothing to do with you. It was the game ID that Shameonturtles was dealing with me.

A few things. The log I posted wasn't from the round you are talking about I'm pretty sure. I was a traitor AI on an auto traitor round. As for this round you are mentioning, it is what convinced me to make this report. I misused dominate once that round and immediately fixed it. It was also a relatively low pop round, and no one died from anything I told them. Most of the round was actually RPing with people until I was locked out of medical, and bolted wherever I go. Second, I didn't try to harm anyone until I was bolted everywhere I went and the only people that were being harmed were the AI and its borgs. I don't think it's fair that an AI can decide to not trust security officers decisions because of suspected mind control it has no evidence for and then decide to harm a crewmember by permanently blinding them. You blinded me and handcuffed me before I used any power except dominate. I'm not sure how that's unsubtle, and Blood Heal doesn't heal eye damage. I used it to no effect. The fact that it's you, and you dismiss my concerns out of hand even though you're involved is why I make this complaint. I can't speak for Ricky, but I did my best to make the round entertaining for everyone and how I was treated that round clarified your position to me. I don't remember the last time I've killed an antag as AI and even if you're right, even if all of this is correct. Why bring it up in OOC? Why try to stir up shit at all?

It was a traitor AI autotraitor round, the end got particularly bloody, but nothing that wasn't approved by admins. He did stop, but to be fair the round was ending anyway. He brought all of this up after some players voiced their opinions about the round, some of them good, some of them bad. Mostly the players were blaming me for the bloodbath but I was telling them that security fired on us first, which they did in this round.

I've already had reason to distrust some of the staff. Game ID: bMt-aKph ShameonTurtles handles my issue, despite it directly involving him and ignores any explanations otherwise. Yes there were admins on at the time. I've been told to delete my character, then the next round told not to delete my character, which then needs to be deleted the next round. I've gotten a warning to not report bugs. Given the low opinion you have of me, and apparently will always have for me, how can I trust that any decision you make will ever be impartial?You want to know why I communicate my grievances in LOOC? because I don't think admins (some of them anyway) give a shit, some of them give special treatment to others but none of them have been as overt as you.

Not only is this insane, but it makes me distrust that anything they have a hand in is actually performed in a objective manner, regarding myself. I'm not the best player, but I think everyone should be treated fairly within reason by the admin team and for 1138 to continue to hold a ideal of me for three years isn't me being treated fairly. About a year ago from today, I spoke to skull about 1138 about this very issue but its not gotten better. Frankly. I'm convinced that to 1138 I will always be this way towards me, and the more chummy he gets with other staff, the more I feel it will color their perceptions about me, before any facts about the situation are actually looked into.
