as of now, the ninjas self destruct just requires the press of a button and instantly gibs those who were near the blast. There is no warning, and if anyone tries to avoid them when they're down, they're flagged for metagaming. It's pretty awful, exhausting yourself trying to take down a ninja only to not be able to continue the round because of dying to its cheap self-destruct. so suggestion: add a 2-3 second delay accompanied with a beeping sound and a text that would go along the lines of: "__ suit beeps loudly!". this would at least give people a chance to clear the blast radius without having to metagame that the ninja is a walking bomb. thank you : D

This, I could not have said it in any way better. The reason I made this request is that I know there were mutliple infractions and problems without me being directly involved, I have called admins to deal with him but it still has not come to a point where it is learned on how to continue properly, as he claims he learns, he might, but not in a phase that progresses so slowly that we can be 5 months further with only solving two "minor" issues. I have had problems with people before that were also really really frustrating calling in admins to deal with it, but these people then also learned and you would notice they did, jesse (spider) here does not and that is the main problem here. yeah i still dont understand what ive done wrong to you ive explained my reasons for what i did, so just leave it from here, pulling up past problems about valid hunting is irrelevant because i wasnt doing that here

that is definitely not me, i dont like ninja rounds and the only time a ninja has ever blown up was when we had shot one in the armory, this is someone else please dont bring this into the complaint as it wasnt me

I would probably consider it apt for either subforum. Considering that while ban requests are normally for grief, I believe I've reported this kind of behavior regarding the OP's security play before. I don't quite recall if they were warned or job-banned as of recent for metagaming an antagonist's presence and failing to follow security procedure in the arrest of said antagonist. It was dealt with but I doubt Spider actually learned anything from it. If anything the OP's said is of any indication it's kind of clear that his conduct has not changed. Because I can most certainly attest that he's validhunted very recently. He was punished for it in some capacity. And here's a report (or multiple, if we count the other posters as well) of Spider validhunting super hard to the point where it's metagaming. Which kind of just says he didn't learn his lesson. but this was something different, i wasnt valid hunting or anything crew transfer was called and i was walking to the shuttle just to get stopped by the warden who just recently was arrested for shooting me and breaking into the captains office, when he tries to cuff me without saying anything im obviously not gonna let that happen so i ran. i wasnt validhunting or actively trying to ruin someones round, ur getting the wrong idea from this

If I may give my free opinion, is that this person should not be permanently banned but for a time where he is able to have enough time to read through a wiki and get some more experience before joining a Heavy Roleplay Server. I will not continue to bring forward any more accusations as he will keep twisting and changing stories. If he is uncapable of properly typing out a counter message that doesn't look like it is written by a guy who has anger issues, I would happily move this thread to the player/character complaint section. But he did not, which is why I will stand behind my statements I stated against him. I had my gun out and told you and the cadet to drop everything you had, to disable the beepsky drone and to stand by a wall. When a gun is pointed at you, even when told not to move or you will be shot, you still decided to move and drag the cadet with you. On that moment I opened fire on you because you basically ignored everything I asked you to do even when under aim of a lethal pistol. beep was disabled and i dragged the cadet behind the monitor because he was in clear range of your gun, you never had a clear shot and even had to move like 5 tiles to get one, i was behind cover so there was literally no reason for the cadet to open himself to being shot. you decided to shoot instead of further rping I told you to halt and wait, I was typing until you started moving away from me, I then tried to handcuff you, you indicated to me you had no interest in roleplaying it out even when I was typing that you were WANTED. You then just started running around like a madman, and I indeed pulled out my laser rifle (this was handled by ezuo), but when you had the chance, you just beated me up, cuffed me and dragged me into your detectives office! Stripping me from everything I had as a detective even though this is a officer's job and you did not even do it in a legitimate matter, no process, no questions, no sign of RP taking stuff from me, You just dragged me and started doing everything without me even being able to resist because you were dragging the chair around the room whenever I tried. if i was wanted u could've just asked me to walk to the brig, i showed no resistance but you just attempted to cuff me which obviously wasnt going to happen, so i moved, then you pulled out a laser rifle and i fucking legged it You let the cadet drag me to the transfer area as you just wandered and dragged me across the detective room until transfer was initiated. like i said i wasnt arresting you, i was just taking you to the office hoping i could speak to you, wasnt an arrest. but instead of speaking you decided to complain over looc and brought an admin in yeah perhaps that wasnt handled as well as it was meant to be, and i was spoken by an admin about it, but thank you, i do try to play my role well

hey pal, during the round you were an antagonist who was caught breaking into the captains office with the modified id card in that office we were trying to resolve the situation peacefully, i didnt have weapons on me but you pulled yours out, you started shooting when i showed no aggression towards you and i was forced to stun and cuff you. after that your other antagonist buddy who was a detective had you released, and after you saw me in the halls you told me to halt, i did, and you just attempted to cuff me without saying why or giving any reason, i ran away, and you pulled a laser rifle out, didnt shoot me or anything but at that point i had a reason to defend myself, though i resorted to running way instead. you chased after me. then i stunned you, and took you to my office and not to processing, because i wasnt arresting you. at that point i couldnt even trust my own security team because they made false accusations by saying i had a 'hacked pda' and contraband, so it would've been foolish to have you in processing in the open. so note i wasnt arresting you, because i'm a detective, i later got the cadet to do that. i stripped you of your weapons and hud glasses because those would give you an advantage if you were to escape, though i kept your backpack for evidence to be used against you when we reached central (IC). from there i handed you over to the cadet to keep you in holding in the shuttle like the AI had asked to be done. now the other stuff you said: "Being unable to react to situation accordingly when he is in accusation, what happens he just starts running and minging around the station until he gets the chance to defend himself again without roleplaying it." you literally tried to cuff me without saying anything besides 'halt' so idk what ur on about. i was doing my job properly as a detective, investigating things, taking evidence and making deductions, such as your role in breaking into the captains office. you say defending myself without roleplaying it, im not sure i want to type out a lengthy /me when youre chasing me with a laser rifle "Beating up people is no exception to anything for what he does, killing 2 people and having the 3rd one wounded and incapacitated still suggesting to kill him as it "wouldn't matter"" i dont get what this is supposed to mean, i hadnt killed anyone during that round besides the antag diona who decapitated two officers, escaped from holding, and beat me up, so i have no idea what you're quoting here "He is in my experience a toxic player and ruined my roleplaying experience from the server heavily when he was present." i have no idea who you are, i dont think i've ever played with you, however if you had an actual problem perhaps you mightve brought it to light earlier or talked to an admin, so idk what this is supposed to be this situation was handled in the server by ezuo, far as i know i wasnt in the wrong there, and he handled it

I'm not going to try to stop you from leaving, because this decision is entirely your choice. However making a big deal about it isn't going to make people shed a tear for you, people come, people go, and it's time for you to move on. It's understandable that you're mad about your character being banned, however if you were truly serious about liking that character you would've gone further to try and improve them to meet the standards of this community. You're a good person, a great player, and it's always fun to play with you, but you have to understand the guidelines set by the server and adhere to them in order to continue playing like you would. Ignorance won't get you anywhere, stay if you must, but at the same time, goodbye.

Is there anyway you could file complaints about these players (most specifically the one that tried to fight a nuke op)? This is terrible RP and the players themselves need taken care of in some capacity. I've forgotten their name, but it was a lab assistant.

PLEASE I've seen 5-6 rounds where scientists run around with these protopistols in their bagpacks, this one time one of them tried fighting a nukie and it just seemed so fucking wrong. Bring back lockboxes, honestly they shouldn't be trusting employees that arent security/heads of staff with weapons.

Alexander Shepard is a great roleplayer, and a really trustworthy guy from the experiences i've had with his character, no doubt he'd made a good Vaurca +1
