Hello, I was the RD in question. as I remember a borg was inside while I was holding the officer, and the borg did try to apprhend me, but since I was holding the officer by the neck and screaming about ending his life, the borg decided to back off, the borg did ask for my demands because that's what reasonable in a hostage situation . now you enter the scene and it was not even a complete minute untill you arrived that all hell broke loose, you didn't evaluate the situation correctly. you yell one time to me to let the officer go you wait for a few seconds, open the door and throw a flashbang. now what happens next ?in middle of all the mayham you and the tech get injured, and the officer I was holding is in bad shape because of the escalation and rush, I(Research director) a head of staff end up dying. do you see that as an acceptable end to a situation that could've been difused by words and negotiation. rather than having people injured and dead by unnecessary escalation. all of the above happend as you arrived, all the madness happend when you escalated, there are other ways to carry out RP. and by the way I did not destroy the borg, I locked it down. why ? because I know it sucks to be taken out of a round in a split second without no RP, and the borg which I belive was Bit did RP with me and make conversation.

Isn't it an option to suppress a IPCs' emotions ? I mean what if it had an organic brain. I'd still like to give it some more of a personality and emotions. Also what about memory suppression, with all the tech advance I'd think science has devoloped to the extent that indivisual memories can be isolated and/or suppressed, you should tackle that aswell. note: I'd have my IPC app for a while now, and no one has looked at it, would this mean you're in charge of that aswell ?

Hi Patrick, you're application lacks alot, you need to provide alot of information about the character and it's background, you also need to give more detailed amswers. looking at previous applications put by others will help you alot. good luck

Hello Sonic, I'll leave some feedback since no one has. My first impressions are that the app looks good, you've given clear answeres and good examples to RP situations. And it's freaking nice to see someone Actually do there records and stick'em into the application for once because it bothers me as a captain when I go into the records console to read records for crewmembers and I find heads of staff with blank records. Now I'm bit a huge Tajaran background buff. but the story is somewhat different and gripping with a decent amount of drama, but not exceding the non-belivebale line. It's akward for me that I don't re-call much RP with your character seeing that much of the gameplay I do is in research, but that could be good seeing that shitty RP stands out more than good RP. at the end I wish you good luck in your applications and I'll support this only if you don't go release the slimes in xenobotany and make explosive tomatos to harrass the chef.

@MyBadMan The purpose of giving very little details about his pre-IPC life is because it's not very relivent, the only important fact that he was an ERT tropper, which would give him skills in combat and Space law. the focus here is about the transition and the journey. It was on purpose that I gave few details on his past life. now as regarding character personality, I'll add more to clarify it.

tha adjustments you've made improved the app, the character now has a sensible backstory. some answers my need re-working. but other than that. I like the application and I'd see no problem supporting this. good luck.

The team was thrilled to receive the brain so did not ask much questions to the Branch Chief Drillian Orbusan. The project was underway and after weeks of work, on the chassis and brain.The de-bugging period started, the IPC was booted and the team was rooting out the bugs and errors in the Synthetic-organic connectors and interpreters. after much work and testing the IPC was finally deemed fully operational and now was sent back to work on one NT research stations, the IPC will report back to the labs every week to be reviewed, the IPC interaction with others will also be documented to for further studies. What do you like about this character? This character could go either way, it will develope alot of the sides in it's personality based on it's interaction with the crew and it's eagerness to seek new pathes. The new thought-process that this character has after it's borgification makes it focused on serving rather than tangling with minor self-doubting and stray thoughts. So, first I'll discuss you as a player. I really don't know you, or any of your characters, the only name I recognize is Kolgrotz which is a borg. and I didn't have any kind of solid RP with it to create an image on your RP. Now. the application ! The back story is ver ver very vague, and considering she worked in engineering without any official education even gives me the more reason she won't be on the Exodus, I mean she spent years watching construction workers build around the neighborhood, doesn't make her an engineer. The two answers you wrote about the likes and dislikes about the character is just.. well. opposite of each other. How come she deson't have a bad day when she's short tempered ? I imagine her days are all bad if she has this quality. And the dislike is just a big no no in head of staff position. short temperness is very seriously bad, becase you'll face all kinds of stupidy and if you don't endure you'll have a hard time playing a head of staff. The age too is way too low for my liking, because she never had an education ( even if she did and it's not written, you should write it down). The story just doesn't add up really. Those points I wrote are just some pointers on ways to improve on this application, don't let this discourge you, I'm just trying to help. good luck.

EHM. Hello. well, the story is a little eh.. the age is just.. he's too young to be a HoS, or even a detective, the guy has no experince, and not even a detailed back story either than he's good at his job, you didn't explain why he got choosen for the job, there's no lore, not even a hint of lore anywhere. my advice is expand on that a little don't be afraid to meddle into details, it doesn't need to be complex, just belivable and well written. Another thing is how you rated yourself as a roleplayer, honestly the reason doesn't even make sense to me.. a small thing is I've played HoS, and on this server the HoS job is very stressful and demanding, more than you imagine, and being lenient in my opinion is not a good trait to have for a person in that position, I can't even imagin someone would get promoted this fast if he was lenient.

I cannot support this application and I think you should wait for sometime before applying again for this position, as your application is slighty changed aswell as your ingame behavior. give it some time and start a new application, so you'd start fresh and with a new approch

I will support this, but I think the records need more working on, and you'll character will be golden.

Ehm, my simple input on this. is cane a good security officer ? yes. will cane be a good HoS ? propably not. Let me elaborate. I've played with him some shifts now. This character when put understress will do unexpected things, and will be very on edge. which is basically the whole time for the position you wish to play. Cane will follow orders and will get things done, but he's sometimes less concerned about regulations and more concerned about vengence. Another thing is the back story, I mean How is he a virologist and then you're applying for a HoS position, I've seen no where in the app that he studied for anything law related. Plus he's so young and not experinced. I suggest you make new character for this position, it would give you a fresh start, maybe as a CMO ? or HoS if you still prefer that.
