Hello again Diary! This is two days late, as weekend festivities swished me away. Continued my plot arc in the news articles! The life of the NKA is on the line. Began redrawing the lines of the political map of Adhomai with some artistic help from Loow, don't expect to see it for a few weeks when the dust has settled from this story arc Added Messa's Tear and S'rendarr's Hand to the flora section of the Adhomai wiki page! Now you can blaze the hand like a sun, just don't bin it or your Tajara coworkers might get mad. Added volunteer regiments to the New Kingdom of Adhomai! If you want to retire your characters to a glorious cause or have them go serve for awhile and come back, you can send them to the frontlines of the NKA's brutal last stand. Started writing and work on Pre-Sol Alliance Credit Tajaran currency. BUT the Tajara main lore page is getting really overfilled with junk, in fact, it's the second largest page by bytes behind only the Guide to Chemistry Page. So, keep your eyes peeled for a possible new Tajara lore page as I seek to clear fluff and clutter from the main page into peripheral pages.

Address From the King 13.11.2458 People of Adhomai, fellow Tajara, subjects of our domain. I write to you now to be frank about the current state of affairs for our Kingdom. As we speak, soldiers of the Republican Army are entering the outskirts of Barj'ar where our imperial troops are making them pay for every meter in pints of blood. Their forces are less than two-hundred versts from the farthest suburb of Kal'tir, and we have lost most of our ground on Chaniska Island. Despite the bad news from the homefronts, there has been a miracle on the continent of Rasn'rr. I have received word from Mrraka'te'almalik Marrmeladov that the Rasn'rr expeditionary force was saved in a harrowing action on the part of our navy from utter annihilation five days ago. Wave after wave of Republican conscripts crashed on their stalwart defenses, where his elite marine Alam'ardii fought with the tenacity of Rrak'narrrii, in many cases sending the enemy routing back with their tails between their legs. Artillery from our Royal Navy performed counter-battery fire, silenced the Republican guns and allowed for an evacuation by sea. Although we have lost our overseas territory, the preservation of these elite units is priceless, though we must mourn the loss of Baron Alyad'almalik Fyodorrov and his men who held the line so that the rest may escape. I never had any illusions that this fight would be an easy one. Ever since we set out to be the masters of our own destinies nine long years ago. The path to victory has always seemed to be a long and unsure one, but one thing has always been set in my heart through everything: the Tajaran people need us now more than ever. The radicalism of the People's Republic and the terror of the Liberation Army will only continue to hold our people back from their potential. Only through acknowledging our colorful past, our rich traditions, and our mistakes can we move forward in a direction which leaves us a united and independent people who can also be an active participant in the galactic community. Only through a limiting of powers through constitution and parliament can we have a proper and non-tyrannical rule. In this grave fight, our men are making their last stand. This is our moment of greatness, our hour of truth, our battle cry that will resound through the generations of the collective conscience of the Tajara. At this moment we need more men then ever. That is why I am announcing the creation of Imperial Volunteer Alam'ardii for both expatriates and foreign nationals to join us in this hour of greatness as we make a stand against the abusive tyranny of the People's Republic. Our people cannot afford to let the last shimmer of moderate rule disperse into the dark night. May the suns rise on a new dawn for the Tajara, drive back the invaders and free our people!

Hello! I was asked to comment on this application to certify it as proper Tajaran military wear for an army physician of the People's Republic. I can vouch that this is indeed "legit as heck" and that I think it looks fantastic. I can already see the old war stories croppin' up.

Battle of the North Begins! New Kingdom of Adhomai to Fall Within the Week! 07.11.2458 Remains of a Imperial Adhomian Army tank on the outskirts of Dymtris. Sounds of artillery rocked the Dymtris Front as the Grand People's Army began their massive offensive which is to be the killing blow against the New Kingdom of Adhomai. The Battle started 24 hours ago after nearly a week of preparation and so far all commanders have been reporting gains as high as 50% greater than their original goals. Many opposing forces reportedly fled deeper into the territory of the NKA. "Adhomai is one step closer to being reunited under the rightful rule of Comrade Hadii!" a soldier on the front line responded when interviewed by Adhomai Chronicle staff. Morale among the Republican Army is soaring in light of this blitz. Vasiliy Rrhazmurgan, an officer in the 9th Motor Rifles Army is the highest ranked casualty in the battle so far. A colonel who preferred to lead from the front, he was slain on the offensive towards Barj'ar. His unit whom he heroically commanded was able to carry on past his death to capture a heavily fortified chateau. Everywhere the Imperial Army is being driven back by the unstoppable might of our armies, the unwavering courage of our men, the unending wit of our generals. Reports are flooding in that the enemy may be pushed off the Ras'nrr continent, forever removing their foothold from the west. Specialists in our offices claim that, for the Imperial Army's Rasn'rr Expeditionary Force, this could mean total destruction. Under the weight of our righteous armies, none can stand. A tale from the front which has inspired confidence in all People's Republic citizens is the tale of the 12th Mechanized Rifles Company of the 18th Combined Arms Army. After liberating the outskirts of Dymtris from imperial tyranny, the 12th Mechanized Rifles Company went on to attack imperialist artillery positions 9 kilometers past their target in the village of Hal'murj. Skeptics about the viability of this assault being a complete success for the Republic have all been silenced. Yasmin Piaf is expected to give a benefit fundraiser concert for the wounded veterans of the ongoing battle, in a show which might be considered the largest concert in Adhomai's history. Glory to Comrade Hadii, and Glory to the PRA.

Hello again Diary. This week I did these fun things: Posted three news articles and started Babbies first plot arc Canonized Jboy's S'randmarr worship expansion application and added subsections in the religion section for S'randmarr worship, Ma'Ta'ke, and Njarir-Ahkran worship. Though the latter two are still being hammered out. Added Marriages and Relationships section to the Tajara wiki as a subsection of culture, allowing players to know the proper way to "OwO what's this?". This bit was actually done last week, but I canonized the second person perspective in Tajara linguistics. You're allowed to say "you, your, you're" etc. It was always allowed implicitly since third person only ever was stated as replacing first person, but I figured I'd clarify. Related to the last point, added wiggle room for people who want to use an all third person format since some players already do. It's explained away as being region dialect differences. Added section on evolution of Tajaran tongues in the evolution section after being asked about it by Serveris. Edited Tajara wiki navbox to have categories and to include Nal'Tor College of Career Excellence. Started giving some content to the Education subsection of the Culture area of the Tajara wiki.

I haven't checked this in over a month, but everything my character and up has their opinions shifted a column to the left. Pity the person who tries to take all of this and make a new document, it'll be a lot of unknowns and never mets.

M1-X is Great with a capital G. I remember distinctively that it saved Fraser's life four times in a row during the alien event. It's always a pleasant synthetic to have around, and one of the few I've seen that doesn't have a totally zany whacky personality. It's professional, but friendly, helpful, polite, and nice. Pratepresidenten is always very courteous and wonderful to speak with in OOC and in dsay. Seeing M1-X continue to develop as an unlawed and free IPC character would be wonderful, and I think it's something that would be rewarding and enjoyable to everyone whose met M1-X so far to see him grow through all of this.

[Denied] Eternias' Tajaran Whitelist Application
Mofo1995 replied to Eternias's topic in Whitelist Applications Archives
Hello! This application has sat for about three weeks now, and so I should make a ruling now. I've given quite a few extensions to give you time to get more feedback, but I'm afraid the results have been underwhelming. The application has been improved a lot with criticisms offered up by other players, but it isn't a particularly strong application. I play on the server very frequently and I almost never see your characters. There's very little feedback about yourself as a player with Snoopy providing the only real input about it, and so I have very little information to go off of here about how you'll pilot your character when you've got it. There's a lot of mentions of "snowflake" floating around in the responses to this application, and I would like to assure you that uniqueness is not an inherently bad trait and that using this term as a criticism should always come with explanation. That said, there's a lot of potential for this character design to go in the wrong way. I understand that you want people to find out personality traits and quirks, but it doesn't sit well with me that obfuscating aspects of the character which everyone found negative is an improvement to the application. I know I asked for some of her traits to be dialed back and toned down, but now I feel like I don't have enough information about her character. In other words, it doesn't feel dialed back, it just feels removed with little assurance. As it currently stands, the answer for why you like your character when combined with the hidden aspects of the character leaves me with a feeling that it's going to go from Tajara to humanized Tajara in 1-2-3. As I said before, this was hard to reach a decision on. You've given a lot of good assurances and handled criticisms very well, but I'm afraid this doesn't meet my standards until I can get a better feeling for your roleplay abilities either first hand or through the testimonies of others. The character has a lot of potential to be good, but it stands on a knife's edge and on the boundary of acceptability, and I need to know through testimonies that you could handle a character like this properly. Child soldier homosexual turned traitor spy turned corporate security officer because the PRA government singled her out to send for training is within the possibilities of our lore, but it's veryexceptional for what should be the average person picking up a NanoTrasen work contract. I think it could be serviced by pulling back on at least one of the chain of traits above which I listed as making it exceptional. I'm afraid I'm going to have to deny this application, but I strongly encourage you to enhance your server presence and apply again in the future. -
Enemies Fear Our Gains and Call it a "Winter Offensive" The day is 2.1.2458, and the season is one of greatness for our people. Our armies march on our enemies and our victories are too numerous to list. Our enemies have called this a "Winter Offensive" as if it will end, but this is only because they struggle to face the fact that the scales have tipped irrevocably in the favor of the Adhomai Liberation Army. Even with the use of a nuclear bomb and the mass firebombing of Ron'Tul, our armies march on only slightly impeded by their desperate attempts to halt us. Supreme Commander Halkiikijr Na'ted'Akhan gave us these words about our victories: Translated: No enemy is safe from the unstoppable might of the Adhomai Liberation Army. From Ron'Tul to Mezuma, Ahmoda to Sren'dul, we march, we fight, we win. We will push them until their lines break, their troops route, and they surrender to the rightful ruler of Adhomai. Let it be known that this "Winter Offensive" as they call it is the final nail in the coffin, the Adhomai Liberation Army is taking this all the way to Nal'Tor. Partisans and guerrillas, step up your efforts everywhere you operate! The Army is coming to free you! This announcement serves as a call to action of all partisans and loyalists to the ALA everywhere. Indifference is the thickest armor of the People's Republic! [ACCEPTED] Expansion of Tajara Religions
Mofo1995 replied to Jboy2000000's topic in Lore Canonization Applications Archive
It is done! You can now see it on the expanded religions section on the wiki, along with some other work I did to give the religion section a nice (but incomplete) face lift, and a new section in the culture section. -
[ACCEPTED] Expansion of Tajara Religions
Mofo1995 replied to Jboy2000000's topic in Lore Canonization Applications Archive
I like it! I'll see about condensing this and putting it on the religion section of the wiki. But if it proves to make the section too beefy, I might see about making an expanded religion page with more on Mata'ke worship too. I'll mark it as processing while I'm working on it and accepted when I'm done. -
MONGOLIAN MONDAY - POST YOUR MONGOLIAN MEMES!

EMPIRE OF THE STEPPE EDITION For thousands of years, power radiated from the unconquerable steppe of Eurasia. Trade goods, warriors, and conquerors always came from the vast plains which covered most of the continents landmass. Inexorable hordes took everything they wanted along the way. Thousands of years of history as proud victory have only recently been reversed in the past few hundred years as the nomads finally were pressed upon by the civilizations which used to bow to them for all of history. One last charge into battle. One last empire to go out with a bang. "War Horse" by Tengger Cavalry: https://youtu.be/0mA_Fh8vuIM -
[Denied]CommanderXor's Head of Staff Application
Mofo1995 replied to CommanderXor's topic in Whitelist Applications Archives
I really think Edward Cane is a poor fit for command. He always seems to be aggressive bordering on belligerent, I've never seen him act respectful to anyone, and when I've not seen him in these conditions, he seems to be an irreverent memer who just jokes about rather immaturely. Most of these observations were made 2 weeks ago, so his conditions and character traits could have improved and become more fleshed out , but as it stands I wouldn't like an Edward Cane head of staff at all. Not to mention I feel being a security officer/CMO at the age of 30 is... strange. But that's a bit more subjective on my side to dislike the medical/security cross jobbing. I echo the suggestion of Aboshebab, maybe a new character with different attributes and more dedicated profession would be a better match? I don't really know what you as a player are like, only your character, but you seem like you could make someone whose a better fit. -
Oh gosh! I never read Halmrrdynh's flavor text

There was a discussion on Wednesday about this in lore chat. I believe the answer wound up being that Tau Ceti has one phoron deposit and that the Republic of Elyra had another, and then Skrell space had some of their own. So, two in Human space that I know of.

King Rallies the People Following Warnings of Incoming Republican Offensive 27.10.2458 An emergency meeting was convened early yesterday following the arrival of an aide de camp from the front at the Imperial Palace in Kaltir. Earlier today the King send word throughout the city to assemble in palace courtyard, additionally promising to broadcast by radio an important imperial speech. The crowd is estimated to have been in the thousands, and all along the front lines the King's speech was heard. The Royal Telegraph staff were unable to reach the King or anyone in his court for further comment, however our staff were able to get into contact with Count Vrrazajo Rrhamrare, a member of Parliament, for elaboration on the context of the King'd decree. The Royal Telegraph staff would again like to remind all loyal Tajara to purchase subscriptions in order to aid the cause. Recommend the Royal Telegraph to your friends and spread the word of the king among both Tajara and foreigners.

[ACCEPTED] Expansion of Tajara Religions
Mofo1995 replied to Jboy2000000's topic in Lore Canonization Applications Archive
Okay, I've read through all of this. As someone who really enjoys theology and mythology, I think it was a really good read and I am certainly interested in canonizing this application. Before I get to that though, there are a few things I want to hammer out with you. For the sake of simplicity I'm going to say "church" since this is clearly a very organized religion heavy on the clergy, and church refers to the holy ghost which is an institution rather than a building and blah blah blah. BUT I like the idea of their places of worship stylistically looking like mosques in architecture and even being called mosques. What are the three factions relations with the church? Which of the three factions does the church support, even if it does so subversively and non-unilaterally (as in, I'm sure many different arms of the church have different views, but is there any prevailing or more prominent one)? What would the name of this organized religion be? Calling the institution a church might get confusing and cumbersome. Let's come up with a Tajaran word for it that isn't verbose and carries the same meaning as "church." How does this institution feel about the Ma'ta'ke religion? -
Part Two: The Baron Responds Has exited editing! Stylistically, it's not perfect. But loads of typos and sentence fragments were fixed. Some semi-colons were added in place of some commas at the request of MS Word.

Player Complaint: Adam Evans, K0NFL1QT, CMO.
Mofo1995 replied to SomeoneOutTher3's topic in Complaints Boards Archive
Well, I was here as one of the hostages, and I have to say the entire thing was a wild rollercoaster from when the gunmen entered to when they got taken down. I loved every second of it, it was thrilling and daring, and I thought that the CMO coming in and executing his rescue plan was a wild twist that me scream "OOOOOOOHHHHH!!!" (OOCly, to my roommate's displeasure) Honestly, the round was long and boring, and this wild ride at the very tail end of the round to precede crew transfer made the entire round worth it. tl;dr I don't think it killed roleplay, I think it was a fascinating, daring, and witty twist in the collaborative story being told. I was on the edge of my seat excited and enamored with the situation all the way from being taken hostage to being rescued, it was great. About the only thing about all of this that I didn't like was when Jack Mitchell emoted trying to silently remove his cuffs while both your backs were turned taking an officer that entered hostage, you immediately emoted "notices" and whipped around and shut him down. I think it shut down what could've been an interesting escape attempt which probably would've ended with him getting gunned down. It was a perfect opportunity to spice up the scenario, and to at least give the hostages the slightest chance. -
[Denied] LoreDev Application - Chaznoodles
Mofo1995 replied to Chaznoodles's topic in Developer Applications Archives
I often get this feeling too. People tend to focus on the aliens, and I think it wouldn't hurt to give more depth to humanity and its various factions considering their prominence. Like I said in the last application, I like Chaz. He always gives it to you straight which I think is a good mechanism for internal criticism. I think he's well thought in his abilities as a writer, but it's difficult to discern what his work actually was in this Google doc. Did you have a specialization with any of these sections? The credit near the top seemed to focus in your spell-checking and reviewing capabilities. -
Dear Diary. In a fit of inspiration, I've been tackling my week head on. But enough tooting my own horn, let's get to brass tacks. Made a new wiki page and nearly completed it. Related to the previous, made a new navbox specifically for Tajaran wiki pages since there are currently four. Also made "Tajara" a wiki category to make navigation easier, and edited ye olde lore navbox to remove Altair and Trimurti and replace them with Adhomai, Ourea, Moghes, and Sedantis I. Canonized Adhomai Rangers as the Ha'narr Corps, placed them on said new wiki page. Added NKA notable persons pictures, the king and Field-Marshal now have faces to go with their names! Made a new News Channel for the New Kingdom of Adhomai, the Royal Telegraph. Made a news thing about the PRA's reaction Paid an Indian man 50$ to photoshop this abomination, decided against using it for anything but to scare children:

Imperialist Rebels Circumvent Lawful Media Regulations: Subscription is Treason 21.10.2458 In an event which has shocked the Ministry of External Affairs, one of the illegitimate rebel factions on our planet was able to secure a method of broadcasting ludicrous propaganda to Tajara abroad. The Minister of External Affairs, Minister Akmed Hrrajalturr, was quick to deliver a statement on the matter when reached for comment. This most recent breach of People's Republic media and communication laws comes in the proceeding months from the breach of the firewall by the Adhomai Liberation Army and has sparked a controversy about the effectiveness of the People's Strategic Intelligence Service's ability to maintain cyber security. The chronicle recently interviewed a concerned citizen who had this to say: The Ministry of Internal Affairs was quick to place a ban on possession, subscription, or consumption of rogue media. The Adhomai Chornicle would like to remind all Tajara at home and abroad on work visas that subscription to these services is treason and punishable accordingly, while possession is contraband. Formal Notice from the Editor: The author of this article has been taken into custody for potential ties to Skrellian political influences, evidenced by the formatting of their article. While the Chronicle and the People's Republic respect their peers in the diplomatic community, this is a reminder that the ideologies of the People's Republic is the only proper one for Tajara. Any printed copies of the unaltered version should be turned into authorities for its implicit alien influences.

[Denied] Eternias' Tajaran Whitelist Application
Mofo1995 replied to Eternias's topic in Whitelist Applications Archives
Nothing wrong here. I actually really like it. She wanted to go out and prove she was a proper M'sai. Having the fire and the using the corpse dramatically increases the viability of the narrative of surviving a two day blizzard. It's much more believable now. Nothing wrong with this section either. I think it did a really good job of capturing the horrors of the war, the tactics and style of the Adhomai Liberation Army, and the difficulties many Tajara grapple with in the context of shifting borders and loyalties. All though all Tajara are de jure citizens of the People's Republic of Adhomai, it really is a de facto defection between nations, so I wouldn't rag on you at all for using that terminology. This seems like decent personality design. I think you did a fantastic job of toning it back and making a more realistic and well rounded character in the way of personality. She's a woman whose lost her innocence in the horrors of war, and she longs to be the playful little girl she once was. Just be careful to not turn her into a fuzzy cuddle monster on station, make sure you keep those scars of war in mind during roleplay on the server, I really don't want to see another goofy silly meme cat. While the application has undergone a lot of improvements, I would like to see more community feedback on the new revised application since I do not have a good understanding of your capabilities as a roleyplayer. I'll be giving this another three day extension, and I heavily encourage you to advertise this application in OOC and tell everyone you've revised it. I will make a formal decision at the end of the next three days.
