Additional Notes: Interview with IAA:
-
I am a fan of this. I can think of a few times where I get up and searched in code green. One time someone said "It's effectively code blue, so let me search or you're arrested." Besides, no one ever gets in trouble for illegal detention or arrest, at least not ICly.

It's all good, I still love the heck out of the game and welcome all threads on it. But then again, I'm not forum mod.
-
There's already a thread for this I'm pretty sure, but yup, there are people here who play it

-
Gotta agree with this to the maximum.

As a Metal Gear fan, I absolutely cannot fail to endorse this. I want it very badly, and I think this would really spice up the revolver.
-
Ooh, this seems cool.

I dunno, I kind of like the idea. All though programming skills are supposed to be required, I've yet to see heads of staff actually take that into consideration when dealing with AIs. I've found it a bit absurd that anyone can build an AI upload anywhere on station, and that somehow the network is just so insecure it lets any computer in. Maybe if there was a copy of the password which was also in robotics where it could be stolen by less than well meaning crew members. Or maybe one just lying around on the bridge. I like the password idea because it adds believability to me, but I think there should be a bit more copies of it than just the RD and Captain's office, to make espionage a bit more digestible.

I'm all for this. In a game which relies almost completely on communication and social interaction to create stories and fun, being permenantly horse masked is worse than death if PDAs are down and you don't know sign language. An entirely horsemasked station is fun for no one except the wizard, and I've honestly just resulted to going cryo anytime I'm masked, since it's almost always done with no context or roleplay. Just "haha, I ran up horsed you and ran away." I'm all for it being an effective distraction or a method of punishment for those who would get mouthy with a powerful wizard, but a permanent multi-hour long complete removal from being able to talk to anyone while looking ridiculous with a stupid mask just isn't fun. I'd rather get fireball ganked and spend spend the rest of the round as a ghost, or maybe get cloned. Add ways to remove it, please. These are my personal and biased clearly salty opinions. It shouldn't be removed completely, just expanded upon with these proposed solutions to add roleplay rather than stymy it.

I know you're joking, but I would seriously support this. Crew love it when the wiz raids the vault and hands out guns for all to have. Weaponry are rare items for the average character to come across and have on HRP servers, and bringing rare and restricted items to the masses is one of the few things a wizard can do which leaves players with a warm positive feeling.

Check the announcements on the discord. Ninja just got added to the secret rotation today.

Lore University Project - Submit Here!!!!!!!!
Mofo1995 replied to a topic in Lore Canonization Applications Archive
Jackboot Edit:Done! Name: Mars University Link to Lore Canonization: (if blank then this is a lore canonization for your university inherently) Focused Field: Mechatronic Engineering Overview: Founded in 2171 out of the one of the first research outposts which first dotted the planetary surface, in the city of Olympia, it was destroyed in the Martian world war in 2281, but rebuilt in 2289. During the widespread cyborgification and robotics boom on Mars, it became an accredited university for robotics and cyborg research churning out the top minds in its field for a time, but after cyborgification became taboo in 2260, and with the destruction of the university two decades later, the reconstructed Mars. U shifted focus to the related field of Mechatronics, opting to build robotic constructs with human pilots which would sit better with public sensibilities. It also retained a sizeable bionics program as a specialization for prosthetics. Its sports teams are known as "The Olympia Martians." And their mascot is "The little green man." Or "Greenman" for short Main employer of graduates: Hephaestus Industries recruits from and contracts the university regularly. Current Dean: A brief (2 - 4 sentences) description with the name. If this is blank we'll just make it up no probs. Famous Graduates: Jayce Gounaris and Gregori Dorokhin, project leaders who designed the Odysseus. -
[ON TRIAL]YouJustGotOwened's Server Moderator Application
Mofo1995 replied to Owen's topic in Moderator Applications Archives
Also as a good friend of Owen who worked closely with him during his tenure as CCIABS, I'm pretty confident in his capabilities to perform the duties of a moderator. He's level headed, even tempered, slow to jump to conclusions, and often very unbiased. I think he could do a lot of good for the community if he were to hold this post, and he has my beaming endorsement. -
People's Republic of Adhomai posters would be really cool. I also wouldn't mind more political party posters, but that's a tough sell given how ATLAS is the only prolific party. I wouldn't mind futuristic band posters, maybe beer/tobacco advertisements. We could also make up movie posters based on actual movie posters.

According to the Avowal of Responsibility CCIA Notice: How this is supposed to work is we either get faxed the paper by central command, or otherwise get a screenshot of the paper or just all around get proof that it was done somehow. Then we put it into your CCIA records so that all heads of staff can see it in the CCIA section of your employment records. It is permanent and carries between shifts.

I really appreciate the positive feedback! There's a small chance of me reformatting and publishing this to the in-game library, but if I do so, I have to carefully consider who the author would be given how one of the main characters is one I play, and he's not exactly bright enough to write a book.

I dream of a day when slimes will be weak to cold again. That coder who came on at the same time as BrightDawn was working on it, and he came up with a system where slimes would accumulate damage at a rate proportional to how far below 0 degrees Celsius the room was. But, there was a glitch.. and we were forever cut off from its glory when he resigned.

This is the story of the villagers of Shevarrditsa, a small village which was once southeast of Nazira in the mountains, on Adhomai. It centers around two brothers, Arrkady and Mahmet Tsyrrkunov, and their endless struggle for peace during the first revolution on Adhomai. Feel free to post any critiques or thoughts. Every time the OP here is edited to add a new part, I will post in the thread to bump it with a note on what part was added.
