I think being an adult has nothing to do with age and I think that being an adult is simplistic, even if it is not easy. Two phrases come to mind which have really resonated with me personally. And Every human since the dawn of time has to contend with those two things, and I think an adult can be described as one who successfully accomplishes these with the second being more indicative of continuing to exist rather than having a genuine home. Even if their keep is earned by begging and they hang their metaphorical hat on a street corner.

All of my limes were in off-topic. And I don't see why off-topic is inherently bad for casual talking and meme-spouting. Nothing heinous or morally reprehensible is being posted there, and if it wasn't containing irreverent and light-hearted banter than it would hardly see the light of day as a board to post on. The important part is that the posts there are with respect to this community rather than others, as users seek to laugh about and share humor with each other rather than, say, with a different community. For me, it's the only out-of-game way I can interact with the community because I don't have any complaints or suggestions, and at this junction I don't plan on applying for any whitelists. "Like" buttons are generally irrelevant though, yet I fail to see why they've been removed from off-topic. However I think post-number is a good general (if not perfect) indicator of how involved an individual is with the community, and that off-topic should be included.

I really like the idea of a translator. One time I had a pAI to translate things for me but I find pAIs are pretty rare. I think the tech requirements should be slightly higher given the exceptional utility of it. I really like the idea of it only working for comms.

So I should say pretty clearly that I think it's a very interesting idea, and I think that it provides a ton of chaos in a way more interesting than any fireball would, in that it encourages interesting role-play among the crew. But I think there could be a balance issue with it, in that a lot of the interesting role-play it would cause would rely on players being morally irresponsible. A lot of guns on the floor means nothing if ever player is terrified to death to touch one if it means a threat of ban, or would just mean a bunch of players are stuffing guns in their backpacks and then doing nothing with them. I think an issue with it is that it would seriously encourage players to self-antag. Another, not so strictly bad problem with this, is that a wizard could summon guns only to be shot with one of his own by a crew who may have stashed one, which would be pretty rich but it could really end the round quickly. I just think it would be way to much trouble, given the tight rules of the server would really put an end to any of the chaos that such a situation would naturally cause, negating the fun of what sounds like a really fun spell, at least for me.

+1, when I was new Tony Smith really helped me out, and I think Bling is a good role-player. Also, I really liked the back story, the character seems like a normal guy, 0 dead parents during childhood was refreshing. There was also time when Tony Smith had to act as an acting RD, and I believe he did a good job of holding the department together during a changing situation.
