Seon-rin Von Illdenberg what do you think of her.
Mofo1995 replied to MetaphysicalPersona's topic in Character Stories
I actually really like Seon though, and I'd be really sad to see her go. I just thought I'd bring to light, in her defense, that she's no professional at R&D, since people had a lot of problems with her skills. -

I can attest to this. She knows very near next to nothing. Sure she tries to learn and I try to make her do the gruntwork, but it's literally 3x faster when I do it myself than when I guide her, and just simply doesn't get done if I'm not around to help. -

I just wanted to be the most popular girl on Aurora...

Is there a way to have the feedback V2 megathread moved here?

Fraser isn't. I mean sure he thinks some human-looking IPCs are attractive but no robosexuality there. (ALSO: yay we did it! We flooded the general board so hard that admins had to push everything into a thread, which makes sense.)

Glad I made it into the screenshot!

As a big S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fan, this triggered me as well as probably Ukrainians too. Still, this at the very least seems like it could be really interesting. But I'm often really skeptical about survival MMOs, and doubly so of early access type things. So I think I'm going to sit on the sidelines until friends go out and get it instead, whenever it starts coming about for public release.

During that round Fraser expressed interest in becoming a cyborg and Talia took notice. It's also worth noting that as a robosexual, Talia is sexually attracted to robots but romantic interest stems more from personality. The ongoing gimmick of Talia trying to borg Fraser makes for great ongoing RP in any case. I knew it! Feminine wiles are being used to get Isiah borged! Either way, I also really enjoy the RP and like where it's going.

All right, so now you've started a totally new game right? The very first thing you want to do is to assign all of your research labs to a scientist to discover Trans-Newtonian materials. Some other things you want to snap to at game start: Set you starting shipyard to shipyard operation: Continual Expansion (That way it will get nice and big for later, I recommend stopping it when its capacity is about 50,000 tons) What are the industry options at game start, as in facilities that you can build? Your starting production will be lacking, I think you might want to focus on mines for resources or maintenance facilities to prepare to maintain ships in the future. EDIT: Make sure you account for what specialties your scientists have! The percentage number next to their specialty is the bonus to research points they generate towards any research project. If you assign them to something in their field of research, that bonus is multiplied by four so long as they are working on projects within their field.

All right that should be fine. Just note that your economy is gonna be bangin' because of the 200 million more people than default start, but I wouldn't mind all that much. I usually make it so that I can't spy on other races by checking the box that makes them inaccessible even in spacemaster mode, but that's more of an RP thing than anything.

Still trying to figure out if that was part of the event or not. Took me out of more then half the round with a lot of others, but at least I learned that crowbars are not effective against xenomorphs. I also tried to crowbar xenos to no avail. The emperor didn't protect But it was not part of the Christmas event, it was a xenobiologist using the secret formula [redacted to not encourage chucklefucking, since it's not on the wiki for a reason] to summon xenos, which they can do any round.

Fluffybirb's Vaurca Application
Mofo1995 replied to FluffyBirb's topic in Whitelist Applications Archives
I've had nothing but good experiences with Fluffybirb's role-playing. Kala is part of the "science dream team" as Franight put it, and is by far the most successful, enthusiastic, and entertaining xenoarchaeologist on the station. One time I got cucked out of my science spot by the RNG at the start of one round, and so I hung out in engineering, which would've been mostly miserable if it wasn't for Clara Falon who was nothing but friendly, not to mention witty with a great sense of humor. I certainly believe the quality of Fluffybirb's RP is at a high enough level to help chart out the new waters of Vaurca. EDIT: +1! -
This happened to be all the time with my survey ships even when I set them with the conditional order to refuel at nearest colony when below 50% fuel, especially when I was surveying the Kuiper Belt. @Xanderdox Sure! But first you should tell me the characteristics about your game start, because it matters a lot. I ghighly recommend with going for a conventional rather than trans-newtonian start with mostly default settings to learn about the interface and features, as well as to familiarize yourself with all of the technology so you can really get a feel for the direction you want to take your tech in.

I got a full Soviet Uniform with Ushanka. Also I turned the AI into a Vox, and it stole my cannon and blew up robotics. Also hostile xenos everywhere.

There are remarks from Fraser in Seon's records? There was one time I was joking around and experimenting with the medical HUD and I believe I added a comment to her medical records along the lines of "attractive" but I imagine this would've resulted in getting into deep shit back at Odin, as well as a potential ban on me being able to wear medical HUDs. Are they persistent between rounds? And I like IAM. He's my second favorite synthetic in security other than Moses Fitzgerald and my favorite Borg other than R.A.T.. As far as the whole drama thing, it wasn't that bad and it created some interesting roleplay. I actually really appreciated that it forced a talk into existence around the elephant in the room. Thanks for the input, though!

There's so much intradepartmental bonding going on here. What have we done? Who's next? How far will this go?

If you're rich enough to produce battlecruisers, you're probably rich enough to make planetary hangar centers to house them. Also, I wish that research was a bit less tedious. Queuing research exists, thank god. 18 inactive Research Labs on Earth Wow, I actually never thought to make a planetary hanger center, but that is absolutely genius. Instead I mass produced maintenance facilities over the span of some two decades, but if I just build some of those badboys, then I wouldn't have to worry about maint supplies being used and could keep up on my Duranium stockpile.

Yeah, I know what you mean. My first play through I thought I could be a tough guy and make all my ships military for the speed, and the result was that there were wrecks everywhere where they were falling apart. In my current playthrough, I mad massive 100,000 ton battlecruisers that have been due for overhaul for over 40 years. Always keep in mind your resources and productive capabilities before designing ships.

It's pretty obvious that I'm a fan of Talia Gauss as a character. Not only does she share the same last name as one of the greatest mathematicians of all time, but also I've built up a pretty entertaining character history with her through Isiah Fraser. She is by far the most competent mechatronic engineer I've worked with, and I like that I can just ask for "The usual" and get everything I need for research. (All though sometimes you mess it up and give me two syringe guns and a super cap when I want one syringe gun and two super caps.) Also my character is dating your character, so there's also that, even though you turned me into a lawed AI once (non-canonically). She's certainly one of the people I check for on the crew roster before deciding if a round is worth joining, along with Seon, Tony Smith, and Martin Richter.

Anything Talia should know about here? Didn't you read!?!?!?! He said don't tell anyone! As far as the rest goes, I'm glad my coworkers have such high confidence in my professional capabilities... given it's a job of simple memorization, but still. As far as the dating number, it was Talia who asked Fraser out! And lastly, I'm glad that I contribute interesting and fun role-play, and its nice to hear my character is well-received. Now to go to your thread and throw down a ton of criticism to make you feel terrible about yourself and your character.
-
I've never seen him on duty before but I've seen the name Ukhaan. You should come on duty more often!
-
I don't know this character at all :/ Sorry.

I'm trying to get Faranight (Talia Gauss) to do it to. You should work on getting Melkior to do it for Richter. It must spread....
