Pratepresidenten Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 There's a bit of an issue differentiating between sign language and Nal'rasan (Taj sign language) for people that dont speak either. The text you get up is identical to one another, and it would be nice to be able to tell the difference between them. Perhaps make the the language include the usage of their ears, as I imagine Nal'rasan would. Alternately or additively make Nal'rasan a different color when used.
DeadLantern Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 There is literally no problem with this, and I don't think it is hard to code in. This should be added in.
Allakai Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 YES. I cannot agree with this enough. It should be more clarified between normal sign language and not. As those that speak Nal'rasan I would love to at least see some way to distinguish Taj sign from normal sign! My full support.
Lady Fowl Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 As somebody who is mute and knows American Sign Language and YSL (Yugoslav Sign Language) there is a large difference between languages sign languages as there are certain aspects of other languages that dont exsist in the others. Would be nice to have a difference between the two
UnknownMurder Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 As somebody who is Deaf and knows American Sign Language and does signs exact English with American Sign Language. The community I am in, I communicate through American Sign Language on a daily life. I can confirm that there is a large difference between American Sign Language and British Sign Language. Fun Fact: American Sign Language is derived from or at least influenced by French Sign Language. In other words, American Sign Language is closely related to French Sign Language. Feel free to hit me up if you want to learn about ASL/SEE in general or you can just google it.
Hendricks Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 I have see Taj players confused thinking the sign humans use and they use was the same, only to find out it wasn't, so I think this is a good idea hands down.
TheSleepyCatmom Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 As far as I was aware, it used to flick their tail and ears. I remember messages about it at some point, maybe it's the rebellion-language or some such that did it. Clarifying Nal'rasan does it with ears and tail as well would be lovely.
