Staff Complaint - Drwago, Garnascus

Was Captain Keegan Rader, as tagged in OP.

I unfortunately was incredibly preoccupied throughout the round in question, due to a cascade of IC events and subsequent meetings being held in my office. However, I did at one point early into the shift ask the AI to stop antagonizing Samara Watson by name on the command channel. I did not bother to respond further to it, as again, I was very busy. By the time I was freed up enough to look back into the situation, I was informed that a ban was being applied and was unable to pursue the issue.

Bygone, I never once recall seeing you say that over common, or engineering comms. Even then, they were still set incorrectly. You just maxed out both of them.

Hello was tagged by Rose to chime in and clarify a few things. To be clear I did not play, or observe this round, and cannot comment on the events only what I ICly taught Samara, and to offer my experiences into common engineering goings-on.

I usually play Oliver Roadman, and taught Rosetango's Samara how to do a basic set up in Atmospherics in previous rounds. This was done with the implication that they would have to break in to complete the task as a part of setup for the engineering department. The Portable Air Pumps do not fill without having been set up in sub-level atmospherics beforehand. This in combination with the default air-line pressure being sub-par filling rooms can be painfully slow to near impossible depending on location, and correcting both takes time to allow the pressure to reach the appropriate levels. These are tasks that need to take place before, and in preparation of an emergency should it arise not during one. That being the general reason behind breaking into Atmos I would like to make it clear that breaking into Atmos to upgrade/fix/grab the dispenser as an Station Engineer has been an extremely common occurrence since I've joined Aurora. This can certainly generate IC conflict depending on the characters involved though it usually goes no further than that.

After internal discussion and reviewing of the logs and circumstances here, Alberyk and myself have come to a conclusion. While Rosetango's actions are lacking out of context, in the context of the AI Cynosure refusing to allow an engineer to do essentially standard roundstart setup, as well as taking a long time (from 06:38:32 to 06:58:23) to state laws when asked by two different crewmembers, the crew thinking of it as potentially being compromised is not egregious. It has also been poor play to go out of its' way to antagonize the engineer in question. We will be lifting Rosetango's ban, as an entire week was somewhat overkill for the circumstance. Three days would have sufficed, and it has been three days now. We will also be applying a note to BygoneHero's account for their play as Cynosure.

Locking and archiving in 24 hours.

I didn't go out of my way. And I intend to challenge this note in an admin complaint. As for not stating my laws, I was doing a lot of shit at once. Like helping a chef who was being threatened by the detective. Cherry picking facts is what Rose did, and its is particularly crazy to see that I am getting a note, for something I was told I could do, while reporting on  what a crewmember was doing. @Garnascus @DRagO

Also, when was @ParadoxSpace assigned to the complaint? As far as I can see there was No post indicating so. All that was said here was bull that Rosetango got from their meta friends, I would have loved to offer my 2cents, but apparently I was forgotten about?

Look how ODIN was the very first person to say anything once Watson complained in the logs....then hes the VERY FIRST person to complain here? (the post was deleted LOL)
