Game ID: Can't remember the code , but I remember the round being after the revolution round where admins spawned uncureable viruses

Reason for complaint: Giving a huge sentence over 2 LOOC messages, possible  misinterpetring of what happened ?

Additional remarks: I believe he kind of misinterpetred what I meant with my LOOC messages , I didn't really narrate  at all . I asked the borg if he had a law zero in LOOC because I honestly tought he might be misinterpetring the Law itself ( By pretending to be HoP to serve the crew ) . Also I believe he escalated a lot because he thought he lied , which I do not believe is fair reasoning for a permanent-ban, I have told him that I really forget messages really quick and I don't have a history of trying to lie to staff at all.

If you believe I'm misinterpreting my laws and don't know if I'm antag or not, you should ahelp. LOOCing "You have a fucked up law don't you" isn't how to check. The meta of telling the CE that I must have an unstated law was also pretty low (Though in the end I doubt this would have changed the result, it's still bad form to assume someone just has a hidden law after they've stated theirs). The ahelp happened within minutes of the LOOC messages so I don't blame sonic for not buying the "I forget messages" excuse. In my ahelp I said I thought you were new and that having staff give you a reminder that the LOOC/meta isn't allowed here would be good, but apparently your history is what had him bump that up to a ban.

There's my side. Will only post further if staff requests clarification.

You are absolutely right . It was very wrong for me to ask that in LOOC .But getting permanently banned for it seems like way too much

I really don't know how to better phrase this. SPCR lied to me. I hold zero tolerance to liars, LOOC stuff aside, was the reason I escalated the punishment and removed SPCR. They were already on very thin ice too with the amount of notes they have received in the 18 days played.

Here is the breakdown of the server history. It's about 16 notes, 2 day synth ban, 3 day ban, a warning, and the perm ban.

I asked if this was  only your decision to perma ban and you said yes . Why did you not say it was a note placed by a head admin ? and I really haven't lied , because if I was purposefully lying I would've not even ever said i've sent any OOC message , as the ticket you have posted shows that at some point I did remember them  and told you that I did send 2 .But you continued to escalate for some reason.

It would've also helped a lot if somebody told I was gonna get permabanned next-time I do anything slightly rule-breaking ..

I don't believe you. I don't see how someone can forget the messages they've sent about 3 minutes before. Infact, I think this is another excuse of "I don't remember" or just telling the half truth which is another form of lying. You also never asked me if it was my decision alone. You asked me if it was because of the LOOC messages.

 

I'm not going to argue this any longer. I'll let @Pratepresidenten decide on this matter.

I will explain why I did put a note saying to ban you next time. You have been around for 18 or so days, and you managed to get 20 or so notes/warnings/bans. That is around one or more note every day, that is way too much.

Well can I get a screenshot of all of them ? I don't believe ive been told about all of them

Edit : After looking at all the notes I can confirm they are all valid , Sonic has done nothing wrong since he has only followed a note put by a HeadAdmin . However I don't believe that note really warrants itself since the vast majority  of my notes  don't repeat themselves(other than the one exception being metagaming) showing that I do learn . Even thou I got like a 1 note everyday , notes are given because they are simple mistakes which are not clearly stated in the rules  and that don't ruin the RP massively for the other people involved .

Aaand we're back with a verdict.

As it stands, youve been accumulating more staff entries than you have days played here, and thats really saying something. It doesnt really matter if they're just simple mistakes or you trying to improve yourself when you cant even keep from breaking the most basic of rules.

You come to the server and you jump right into AI, which is the hardest role you can play without fully knowing how the server or role works, and while doing this you manage to net yourself 5+ notes, a warning and bans for bad synthplay, and this somehow did not raise any red flags for you?

I dont know exactly why you've been playing AI as much as you have when you cannot remember past three minutes of interaction with someone. Sitting on and processing information is what an AI does, there is no way around that.

As for the validity of the ban. If you cannot adhere to the rules, you get punished, if its still an issue, you get punished harder, and that is very much the case here. Should really have stepped away from synthetics after your first warning.

 

Im going to let you choose your own destiny here, so you may pick from the following two options.

1) The safe option: You can serve out around three months of time banned and make an unban appeal if you want to come back after taking a breather and perhaps reading up on rules, forums and such.

or

2) The minefield: I will unban you today, but you will be on a 3 month trial. If you break a single rule, even accidentally for whatever reason, you will be permanently banned with zero chance of appeal.

 

Personally, I dont think you would last three months, so if I were you, I would serve my time and appeal at a later date.
But the choice is yours @SPCR
