How long have you been playing on Aurora?
On and off for several years.

Have you received any administrative actions? And how serious were they?
Yes. A grand amount of them, counting up two or three bans (I can't remember the exact amount, I'm sorry), and a myriad of warnings. I lost my previous command whitelist, among other things on top of a perma ban some time later, which was lifted a few years ago now, I think. And likely a storied history of notes mostly (to memory) in regards to sec play and validhunting and being a toxic dickweed, with a few in memory for roughly the same as I've tried reacclimatizing to everything.

Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph each.

What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?
I used to think it was mostly about 'wrangling people' and forcing the round to go a certain way, but it's mostly, in my opinion now, about making sure the round gets to interact with people and less about limiting who interacts with certain parts of it. Things will flow as they do, and its the job of people with a Head of Staff whitelist (playing heads of staff) to make sure that everyone can have fun with gimmicks from antags (to a reasonable extent), and make sure stuff is being done reasonably. To actually help antagonists facilitate their RP instead of just limiting or crushing it otherwise, and to help players do fun things in their own time regardless of if they're antags or not.

What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?
There's a level of requirement to make sure that you know what you're doing, so that in emergencies you can safely handle situations that pop up from your department (Engine malfunctions/mass breaches for CE, Xenobot/bio/anomaly outbreaks for RD, mass cas events for CMO, so on so on.) while teaching others how to, and so you can reasonably organize for and handle them to make sure the round isn't thrown off the loop too far. As well as having the mechanical knowledge and keeping up to date on the relevant changes to be certain you can teach and train new players in the basics of the department, as well.

Explain how the recent events in the Spur changed your character and how they came to be employed on the SCCV Horizon.
Sefiya's upbringing was curious if troubled. Born on Moroz to a small family in service to House Strelitz, the expectations and behaviors required of her were abundantly clear; Yet, unexpectedly, a rebellious nature gifted her a non-standard set of beliefs that her Family did their absolute best to try to school out of her. She began a tenure with one of the smaller Imperial-operating subsidiaries of the keiretsu during this time at one of their offices and was eventually offered a corporate-sponsored off-world education for an extended contract with the keiretsu as a whole. Though this offer was quickly taken, her family saw it as a betrayal and threw her to the wolves that were the priests and reported her violation of the Tribunal.

A move to Sol Space is what transpired for her education, as well as eventually gaining citizenship within. Though in recent years, the fracturing of Sol has left her with a home in Tau Ceti - though one that is rife with turmoil and bureaucratic red tape. Her transfer to the SCCV Horizon came as a surprise to her, although it was quickly chalked up to being a reward for her decades of loyalty to the keiretsu; being granted the honor of serving aboard the SCC's poster child flagship is no small privilege.

What roles do you plan on playing after the application is accepted?
I primarily want the whitelist back for reasons of RD/CMO/XO, maybe CE and OM eventually. Along with Consular and Rep, in general. I've mostly lost interest in Security leadership things, so I wouldn't really want to jump into HOS again if I could help it.

Have you familiarized yourself with the wiki pages for the command roles?
Yes.

Characters you intend to use for command or have created for command. Include the job they will be taking:
Sefiya Hulsanne - CMO (Made for this app)
Fayha Azimi - RD (An old char originally intended for a cmd app I didn't finish)
Seless Ioraks - CE (Promotion, old char who I wanted to promote before we moved to the Horizon)

Do you understand your whitelist is not permanent, and may be stripped following continuous administrative action?
Yep yep.

Have you linked your BYOND account to the Forums?
Yep!

Extra notes:
I work an extremely tiring job, to the point I get 12-14 hour shift days relatively regularly. My ability to play is normally limited to very specific times of day most days, and I might not be able to be around every day during the whitelist if it's put to trial. So please keep that in mind. ❤️

Added a CE character, for sake of options.

I know of DasFox as I see them on OOC on occassion, but while their current active characters I don't recognize besides Aurelia and Kazima, from the most recent memories, despite the text found in the second question, I have had no negative experience with this player whatsoever.

At the very least, their recent rounds show them to be competent with enough sense and game knowledge to play a department head paired with good Roleplay ( although Kazima can be described as a brickwall @.@ ) I think the app is worth +1 for atleast a trial

Having known Das for a few years now and seeing them roleplay on Aurora on and off, I'd say they deserve to get a shot at a Command trial. I'm sure the second question doesn't make them a saint, however due to the fact they're unbanned and, from what I'm aware, kept away from trouble thus far, I don't have anything against seeing a character of theirs in a CMO slot or similar.

+1 from me. If you don't make the Lyodii a HoS at some point, I will be very mad.

I'll give this a +1 after playing with their Lyodii officer I found them to be a good roleplayer and don't really see why they shouldn't be given a chance at the command whitelist. OOC bans and warnings shouldn't get in the way of a trial imo, as it's purpose is to filter people out anyway. There's no reason to not give them a shot in my eyes and I think they could do well.

Hey, I played as Captain with Sefiya in the round as my Chief Medical Officer.

They were communicative, competent and did a good job with everything I tasked them with. Ontop of being a strong roleplayer. I'd be happy seeing them occupy the slot more whenever I end up playing Captain.

+1

I played a recent round with Sefiya as my physician, and I found they were really quiet and didn't seem to be that present on comms. Mind you, they could have been more obvious on command comms and I just didn't notice, and it was also a moderately hectic round, but I think she could stand to be a bit more present in making herself known. Neutral on this one.

+1

DasFox is a mainstay on the server and i just played a round with them

The attention to detail on their RP is immense and  the way they acted a command member was convincing and well executed.

Seless was a very engaging character that taught my dumb ass to use the Tesla, which I had been avoiding figuring out for about 3 years OOCly, they did the entire thing in very easy to understand steps including some more "Out There" tips and tricks for efficiency that I now do roundstart, and most surprisingly I didn't feel like a moron, like +1 absolutely.
