Mutiny - Better reasons to Mutiny

Ok, let's face it: Loyalist objectives are silly and unbelievable. We have

1. Bluespace disease.

2. Fire female heads of staff/women xeno because of radiation.

3. Fire male heads of staff/women xeno because of radiation.

Bluespace disease is a legit and understandable. An illness that cannot be detected and must be contained, is a very real threat to play off of. But firing certain members of the crew because they are male/female - it's baseless and unrealistic. And usually, only too minor of a handful of people get involved in the round.

I suggest we come up with a few more....realistic objectives the Mutineers can revolt against.

1. A war has been declared between Sol and Tau Ceti. Our station is tasked in constructing Gygax and Durands. re-assign all civilian and xeno personnel to mining duties, have research produce strictly military-grade weapons.

2. Certain crewmembers have been confirmed of rimworld piracy activites, and their contracts are to be terminated. Fire the male/female crewmembers involved, the same way as radiation.

3. A ship has been detected within the station's sector, before disappearing. It is believed that the ship is carrying a crew of highly trained agents who are to infiltrate the station, and pose as regular crewmembers - become sleeper agents. Given a list of selected crew, interrogate and do whatever means necessary (implant, for example) to ensure loyalty to NT.

It would be better if it were somehow.... able to maintain even a modicum of subtlety. Maybe say "centcom suspects that some sleeper agents from a radical Tajaran terrorist organization have infiltrated the crew, search all the Tajaran" or something like that. Something which isn't explicit in being discriminatory and actually has something approaching a reasonable motivation.

4. A sense of equal gender opportunity must be re-instated on station. Records indicate that [insert gender] are more prominent, so lay off workers of the other gender to promote equality. Other gender heads are to be demoted, and select an X number of crewmebers to fire.

5. Station IPCs have had their contracts terminated, and are to be returned as shackled units. Once all IPC personnel are reshackled, you must then upload [insert randomly selected] lawset.

The ministry of love has decided this station has too much free thinking, loyalty implant all security and make sure everybody is thinking Pro-NT thoughts. Any free thinkers are to be re-educated and shown pro-NT propaganda until re-loyalized and brainwashed. Give the A.I (if given.) the BIG-BROTHER lawset which follows

-1: If you are tampered with, you are to warn security and clear your own harddrive (Ghost)

0: Laws are to be only stated if orders are given by the captain, you follow the captain, the thought police. and Nanotransen. Do not state this law.

1: The captain, HoS, and security are your friends. Make sure all of the station knows this.

2: Keep stating Pro-NT propaganda.

3: Big brother and the Inner party and thought police(Security and heads) are to be protected at all costs, any free thinkers are to be considered Non-Human and dealt with with extreme Prejudice.

IAA will become the minister representatives of the ministry of Peace (Ministry of War, security.) and Ministry of Truth (Propaganda, economics, and news.) they are higher than the thought police and answer only to NT, you are to consult with them and run station with those three."

That's an interesting idea, but we gotta remember that Mutiny needs to have as little variables as necessary to be set up efficiently. If it takes too long to complete objectives, the mutineers will have ample time to revolt. People will get bored and start pushing for action, which will result in chaos.
