Hello, Aurora. I want to play a game.

The rules of the game are as follows;

1. Pick up to two of your characters and post their names.
2. The next poster in the topic picks a "theme song" for one (or both) of those characters. Then, they pick up to two of their own characters.
3. The next poster in the topic picks a "theme song" for one (or both) of those characters, and so it continues.
4. You can respond with theme ideas for someone's character without putting up a different character. There's no rule against volunteering more characters to do the exchange with, but don't do more than two per post. Generally just use common sense and don't hog the thread.
5. Be nice, or at least be funny.
6. Music can be based on lyrics or just vibes.
7. Make sure everyone gets a turn.
8. Optional: Recommend your most hipster, obscure music to show off to everyone else.

I haven't had my characters interact with Ches much (which is a crime I WILL rectify), but:

 

It just seems appropriate you know? Calming song from an otherwise unnerving soundtrack, adequate for a physician (who is named after a manifestation of loving kindness).

For my first character I'll go with stinky Europan with anger issues: Bavs

Based on what I know of Frank, the dude's just an honest guy trying to earn his pay and live another day. There was another Sol janny that was a not-so-great vet who barely knew where he was and was terrified of all the aliens. Frank is sort of the antithesis of that in my mind, fully aware and capable of understanding the nuances of alien societies and how the ship operates. To that end, Cage The Elephant makes some kickass tracks to give off that "tired, but still working and fighting the good fight" vibe.

And of course I gotta link my no. 1 Mictlan girl and Sol vet/sympathizer, Kira Eladio Vasquez.

Given that the latest post just had the song submission, I'll go ahead and pick a song for the character I feel I know the most about out of the ones that have been posted so far. @TonesofBones's Bava Schoffer.

Definitely has a sort of Europan punk vibe to it that fits her character imo.

The last character I saw was Deshan so I'm gonna toss one of the more upbeat dystopian vibes from a game I love as that's what strikes me with Gadpathur and Deshan. Goolies is 100% right with Papers Please though.

This was sort of a hard pick, because I wanted to both fulfill villa's #8 obj (most obscure music) and also give Avelka a solid theme that I think has meaning related to her (or at least sounds like something she'd listen to).

Presenting Mojave Phone Booth, the sexiest industrial band you've ever heard since Snake River Conspiracy (made from the same members too). I think Avelka gives off this really tense, unmistakably-hard-hitting demeanor when you've pissed her off. I timestamped it to the verse where I was like oh, this HAS to work, now.

A really calm, peaceful track that I dunno the genre to that I listened to when I was like, fourteen. Neroche makes a lot of what I'll call "mind-wandering" tracks that you listen to when you're just vibing. To that end, I think both CHESED (for sure) and Meret (to a lesser degree; I gotta get to know her more as a character) fit the bill (yes, even after Meret yelled the word "cunt" like six times over common LMAO).

I tend to change my themes based on the arc the character is in, or use specific songs for their relationship with others, but alas, I am ever curious how other see it. So, I present forth Maryah Marakova, the First Responder from Himeo. It can be based on vibes, or interactions with the character.
