Mofo1995 Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 lots of stuff I want them to stay with enhanced danger so that Hatsune Miku rip-offs can get scalped on station. They'll have a lot of problems being Kawaii with no flesh on their head.

Mofo1995 Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 why even make brutal maiming an option this is a roleplay server, not a hatsune slaughter simulator There is roleplay to add here. It is a serious disincentive against donning the hairstyle as people learn first-hand the impracticality of it. We should show them the hair is impractical as a means of cutting down on the fashion trend rather than tell them its bad because we don't like it. Unless NT adopts a formal dress code for all of its personnel, I think this is the best way to go about it since all the reasons for removing it revolve around: NT wouldn't accept that. Yet I'm free to board the station with ridiculous mohawks and dwarf beards, which also would not fly in a realistic professional environment.
hivefleetchicken Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Quite an experience to live in fear of scalping, isn't it? That's what it means to be a miku.
Carver Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 Wouldn't terribly mind if they added an aggressive/neck grab move to rip floor length braids off whilst causing massive damage.
swat43 Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 STADING.. ON THE EDGE- oh wrong game. Why is still a topic? remove floor-lenght. Case closed. F*cking w*nkers.
Nogo3 Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 I'm honestly surprised this is a topic. It's a weird topic. Removing something just for the sake of not liking it or whatever seems rather pointless. I'm honestly trying to figure out the point behind it. Is it to filter out people with certain hairstyles that might be snowflakey? Is it to hold up the RP because they wouldn't be hired like that? Is it just because it looks kind of dumb? I'unno. But I'm at least fairly sure that this isn't North Korea and we have more than twelve company accepted hairstyles. I just don't see any point in removing it from the code for fashion policing. It does look rather silly, though.
Dea Tacita Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Eh. I can see why it should be removed, or at least restricted from some jobs. It is unprofessional as fuck looking and Atleast I know I wouldn't hire anyone with that style of haircut unless they were extremely qualified, or there were no other options/ it was a job that the hair wouldn't cause problems in (Any engineering or robotics or mining, or anyone that has to use a hardsuit.) But then again, a large amount of the haircuts looks redonkulous and probably would keep you from getting any reputable job
rrrrrr Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 a job that the hair wouldn't cause problems in (Any engineering or robotics or mining, or anyone that has to use a hardsuit.) one of these is not like the other

If you're going to swear at least be brave enough to not use asteriks. We're not going to tell your mom on you for swearing on the internet. I am still against this idea. People can wear stupid hairstyles; with this one specifically we have actual mechanics to punish them for being silly with it.

Alright, fine, but I want hand-to-hand braid-grapple hair-ripping moves that deal 90 halloss and turns their hair into a shorter version of their hairstyle.
TishinaStalker Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 If that's an addition to your suggestion, then I believe there's already a short version of the floor length braid on the hairstyle list?
Zundy Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 Change thread title! Allow the pulling of floor length braids!

No, it's more like.. i just like how people want to remove ONE simple hairstyle, which has even an alternative look, and i can guarantee 100% there will always be people who will not be satisfied, so guess what, we're gona keep/remove it, and some one will be fucking dissapointed. Also.. please dont sidetrack to other type of suggetion. If you want for the hairs to be used in combat (grabbed and then choke the bitch while you rip her hair off) make a new thread. Anything else anyone wants to add/insult/joke about?
Guest Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 Original post changed to reflect the pursued development objective that is desired. kill them all! let god sort them out
Lady_of_Ravens Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 Get someone with full length braids to stand next to an exosuit fabricator. Click and drag them onto the fabricator. Enjoy the blood and screaming. As I'm currently working on upgrading the hair-eating code I'll add similar functionality to some of the other machines I'm imbuing with a terrible thirst for kawaii hair. All I ask is that people remember to giggle cutely as their friend's victim's hair is devoured.
Thesir Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 I'm okay with this. I don't have any characters with crazy kawaii floor-length hair.
