So, we had a small event in a secret extended round, with four cat operatives coming to the station, to steal and recruit more tajaran to fight alongside them. Things went fine as we attacked cargo, kept people hostage and stole some things. Then we move to the vault, where we are greeted by the chief medical officer, Magic Flows Erupting Nye, which was take acting captaincy, but, alas he is wearing what follows in the screenshot;

A chief medical officer, dionae, armed to the teeth, by raiding the captain’s office and its weapons and armor, charged at three armored and heavily armed operatives that were attacking the station, while riding the cargo tug as a war chariot. So, the fight end with the officers being driven out, the diona’s tug is destroyed by a laser blast and the vault is raided.

I believe that this is a gross violation of what is expect of a head of staff and maybe a diona. Mostly a cmo that is the acting captain, taking weapons and leading a charge at terrorists, rather than not risking himself and several important items, such as the spare id. And after the fight was over, Magic Flows Erupting Nye goes to the bridge and makes final announcement, lying clearly about being killed or something, and goes ssd;

I trust you de-admined yourself, As I sent two ahelps explaining why I went SSD and why I was going SSD, Work takes priority over a fictional game, But I can clearly see you were just neglecting to view the chat as you aghosted to screenshot my SSD body, That isn't quite responsible of a staff member to do, You should pay more attention to your surroundings instead of having tunnel vision on murder and death (Which you do so often), The reason for the announcement was to add some form of ROLEPLAY to me suddenly disconnecting from the game.

I did not lead the charge, In-fact I was only there rendering aid to the other two officers that were bleeding out and had multiple wounds including internal bleeding (You then open fired on me not the other way around dear, I tried to communicate with you only to get laser cannoned in the chest and stenned down to crit health). Taking the Captains Armour and Swat Helmet was for my protection as I was advised to do so by the security team since I was the only head, I only count one weapon on myself which was the antique laser gun that I had borrowed to keep it safe as it is a million credit piece of equipment, I also had the Nuke Disk and Pinpointer on my body with the spareID, The reason why I was using the SpareID is because I gave my CMO ID Card to one of my medical doctors so they could heal the crew and manage the medical department that was in disarray, Now the reason why I engaged you, Diona have no sense of fear or pain, They do not know what that means, They only know two things, To do their duty and to protect their gestalt, Which I did, As soon as you left out of my view range I did not chase you nor did I hunt you down, Infact you CAME BACK and open fired on us again, In which I and the warden returned fire, That is when my tug was destroyed, I ordered the borg to bolt the doors and drag the crew out of harms way while creaking and rustling to the bridge, That is when I got a work call stating I needed to go A.S.A.P and gear up for something,.As I previously stated I ahelped TWICE stating my reason for disconnecting, The only real situation and problem I see is you getting angry because I foiled your plan to kill the crew or steal anything except silver coins, I did exactly what my Diona knew how to do and protected the crew over you.

Now I have a few problems and complaints with how your "Cat Operatives" focused on murder death abusing mechanics to kill the crew and even though you were being shot and hit numerous times ignore all FearRP or PainRP and continue charging at us, Your a moderator I expect better of you then to blatantly disregard the rules all to murderbone and "Win" the game, Shame on you.

You instead of making conversation with any of the crew mostly spoke Tajaran Speak and just murderbone deathed everything (The only thing you said in Tau Ceti Basic was, "We are sieging this station"), This by far was one of the WORST performances I have seen by antags in awhile, You have a long history of using antag status as a reason to murderbone death everything, And I am fed up with it.

I never said that you going ssd or anything of the short was wrong, and I don't see I should deadmin myself, when there is only myself and more two trials as the only real active staff member during such. Also, I believe this is not the place to place any complaint on myself, this is going off the topic. The point is; you lied about being killed by the operatives, as the captain, to the whole station, how is that not an issue?

I had access to pain killers, oxycodone, from our combat injector, energy shields and the rig armor, besides some Kelotane pills which were used, I don't see how I was ignoring pain when I did not feel any of it. And we had a plan, and rp happened due to it, in none moment we tried to murderbone, we only fought the already armed, with lethals, security and the ert members later. Unlike some crew members which tried to bomb the cargo bay with a welder tank, or the ert that fired upon the tajara cadet on the operative ship through a window or the roboticist that joined the ert with an egun just to be killed.I don't see how it is murderboning when you fight people which are actively trying to kill you or just ignoring the guns pointed at them.

I am a Diona, who is not loyalty implanted, There is no issue here, I do not have to tell the crew anything, I can be deceitful as a Russian hooker on a Tuesday, I was shot numerous times in which my nymphs were damaged, That puts me at an eternal resting phase while I recover, ergo going SSD.

FWIW, we were given orders right at the start not to kill people, and to value life.

One of the team, shadow i think, apparently disregarded that order and started using lethal lasers in cargo I mentioned it at least once, but nobody seemed to care much

As for fear, we're a team of battle-hardened soldiers from adhomai afaik and used to getting shot at. As for pain, we were all wearing hardsuits and most of it wasn't hurting. I was the team's defacto doctor, after that fight shadow had some shrapnel in her chest which i did surgery for, without anaesthetic as we didn't have any (there was tons of painRP there) and everyone else was perfectly fine, those hardsuits seemed pretty robust. I wasn't present for some of the later incidents, but from that fight at least, only one of us actually had any reason to be in pain.

That and, as alberyk mentioned, our hardsuits had chem injectors with hyperzine, oxycodone, and synaptizine, we were all juiced up

I found out, much to my disappointment, that the nukeops headsets can't use the common channel at all (or at least i couldn't figure out a way) so the only way we had to talk to the crew was via an intercom back on our ship.

I tried to urge some people to talk to you guys more, shadow talked on the ERT channel a bit, although nobody would have seen that besides the ERT. Alberyk didn't seem to keen on talking, and i was worried about stepping out of line so i didn't talk much

FWIW i don't think lordraven did much wrong here. i wasn't aware that we'd downed anyone in that area yet, maybe he collapsed somewhere close to the vault, being there to recover casualties seems understandable.

Having the laser with you was silly though, having it visibly on display especially so. If you're armed and walk into a combat zone, you're an implicit combatant regardless of whether you fire it. youi should have left it in your backpack.

The fighting starts about 19:35 here. This log is the first shot i can see being fired, it looks like lordraven shot first? There also arent any attack logs to indicate you where heading there to treat wounded.

hmm, These logs made me realise something i didn't know before.

LR Appointed someone else acting CMO, and took acting captainship. I think that changes things, the captain has a lot more leeway for charging into combat and carrying that gun around

It looks like he did shoot first, but he was also under attack by beepsky it seems, so that could have been a misclick in panic

Except that the lizard in question was an unathi officer, which job was to deal with securiy situation, as well skill-wise, not the same as a diona chief medical officer riding a tug to ignore the slowleness while firing a gun. Also, the office was not only broken for the officers to be armed, but to send an emergency message to central command. Because, alas; someone bombed/raided the armory. Still this has nothing to do with the complaint.

As I said before Alberyk, I road the tug to assist in medically healing security officers, You then engaged with me in combat, Your complaining about a Diona who has combat knowledge defending them self because you got hit, As you in see in the logs I only fired twice to defend myself while I inject the officers with my healing cocktail, Don't complain in Mod chat because you got killed, Or start a player complaint because you lost an engagement due to me healing and saving two officers, I didn't hunt you down or chase you, You hunted me down and chased me.

Except no one was hurt, you were the first one to charge at us, and the logs shows such, you were not giving support to anyone, I aimed my gun to people and the fire fight happened, at such time you fired already, of course medical did deal with the hurt people later, I don't think you need a laser gun, armor and tug to heal hurt officers, neither be the first one to open fire. And when I said about murderbone, it was far before, when the AI was door crushing us, I did not die in that conflict, I was talking about the fact that we were avoiding to kill people, such as what happened at cargo where we did take control of it without any anyone being killed, while the crew was doing their best to valid us. And yes, I returned to the vault, becaue, we were unable to secure the things from inside of it and I believe that denying a dionae which was heavily armed the cargo tug was a good move.

Besides, you should stop trying to focus the complaint on me in any kind of shape, because, it is not the place and neither the purpose of this topic.

I was involved in this specific shoot-out as the Warden, Stevron Dawes. When we got the word, myself and another officer immediately left the brig and went to the vault. My character isn't a 'spess-marine' Warden, more of a paper-pusher so I was trying to pop in and out of cover, trading blows and showing minimal effectiveness with his sidearm.

The Acting Captain (previously CMO) was riding around in the tug and I'd have to agree with Alberyk's assessment; it did feel like you were using it like a war chariot. Although, that being said; the cat invaders could have made more of an effort to engage the crew in roleplay before just simply storming the place and shooting everywhere. For example, security had an undercover Tajaran that we sent to the invaders; I would have liked to see that roleplay progress a little and return with something. Regardless, this should be about LR's actions since he's the object of the thread.

Some problems I had with that whole engagement and Magic's actions as a character specifically:

• Taking the Captain's armor, antique gun and using the tug like you did felt like you were valid hunting (i'm not 100% I understand this phrase though) aka going where the bad guys were and not letting security/ERT do their jobs
  
• Going from CMO -> Captain and having mastery of combat + utilizing vehicles for combat
  
• Giving your unedited ID to another doctor
  
• Going back into the fight after you had called a retreat. I'm 99% sure there was emergency airlocks between us and them that had dropped so you specifically bypassed protection we had to go back after them
  
• You were definitely leading the fight, rather than supporting the 2 officers; I dragged Petrov to medbay since you went offline in the bridge.
  
• Petrov ran in like an idiot and got shot to pieces quite early and I was trying to cover shoot like I said but you were driving around in circles while shooting; showing that you were specifically using your vehicle to dodge bullets less like a Diona should behave and more like:

On having a look at the logs again, you probably did more 'medical' assistance than I remember. However, you were definitely putting yourself in more harm than you should have been, on the verge of rambo'ing. You claim Alberyk was the one murderboning but in every case you're the one to shoot them first.

The logs also show you hitting someone four times. It doesn't show how many times you shot to miss AFAIK.

 

Diona's physical body are only slow not their minds, Any smart person would dodge bullets not stand their getting shot to shit.

 

I have a problem with this because the tug is operated by a physical body, so anybody who roleplays a Diona driving a tug has to either A. drive is slow enough for their reflexes to handle turns and movements or B. has to roleplay crashing a lot like an elderly gent who can't turn the wheel of his car fast enough. You can't roleplay one who walks with the speed of an old person and drives with the reflexes of John McClane. Unless your vehicle is mentally controlled, that is.

Because I was directly next to the vault as the raiders were there, Literally directly next to the Gateway, Talking to both the Warden and the Security Officer.

EDIT: It is no longer allowed for Diona to engage in combat as non-security (Unless its self defense), Diona will also not be allowed to know how to combat unless they are security, According to our Lore Dev, Killer. As such this scenario will never happen again.
