How long have you been playing on Aurora?: More than 256 days (last time checked)

Why do you wish to be on the whitelist?: To be able to play Head of Staff and experience new situations

Why did you come to Aurora?: Jumped from HRP servers to HRP Servers, but most of them were either shut down or empty. So now I'm here.

Give a definition of what you think roleplay is, and should be about: "Playing" Roleplay is becoming one with the character you're playing with.

You act, think and play the way you imagine your character would. Your in-game knowledge is limited to your character's one,and according to his backstory. OOC Information can't be used in-game; Even if you know the whole wiki, that doesn't mean that your character will know everything.

What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?: The Head of Staff is the one in charge of his Departement, and must be able to do the job of anyone in said departement. He's also the one that get his departement working, by either giving work to his staff, approving request, and doing some of the most important Paperwork. The Head of Staff other important roles is, with other Head of Staff, take care of any problem or threat to the station, and should think before doing anything.

What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?: OOC-Wise, the Head of Staff is a model for his department, but also the one that coordinate it. He is supposed to know a bit of every job that make his department, and should be able to easily replace any missing staff for it.

Character age: 58

Please provide a short biography of this character (approx 2 paragraphs):

Helmut Kronigernischultz was born on Earth, he didn’t spend much of his young life there as his father went after a job opportunity on Biesel, these days he’s old and a bit tired, his entire life was nothing but studying and work and now all the days of work are showing their mark, but years of hard work shape character and in the end he became a better man, kind and glad to see youngster around him blossom into something more instead of being envious of their young age.

As for most humans, everything started in Sol, Earth, his birthplace, but not much of his history is tied with that place as his father moved to Biesel chasing a job opportunity, from a young life Helmut was interested in knowledge his favorite quote always was „Knowledge is power, guard it well“, he finished high school at the top of his class and went to study general science on the Biesel Major Science Academy, at that time he met his wife, Susanne Mersht, she was quite the looker and wasn’t empty in the head either, they married the same year they met both families happy for being banded, but as she got her doctorate and went for a life of a field researcher, Helmut wasn’t satisfied, he wanted to more know, so he re-applied, another 4 years of xenoarcheology and then re-applied again for the specialized Science of Robotics and Positronic reasearch after many arguments Helmut agreed on leaving school and getting a job, at CERN, moving away from his wife back to Sol she just couldn’t handle it, Susanne Kronigernischultz became Susanne Mersht again, after that Helmut became a bit bitter and immersed himself fully in his work, 16 years of CERN work, after that he moved to Biesel again, trying to get together with Susanne, but time does not hold for a single man, she was Susanne Roherd, a married woman with two kids and a husband working in the navy.

After that Helmut ignored all life, he jumped from job to job, Xenoarcheology, Roboticts, back to Sol, CERN again, Biesel called general Science, the school wanted an interview. One day everything stoped, he droped his screwdriver and as he bended to pick it up as sharp pain shot up his back, he realized something it was the year 2458, he was on NSS Exodus and time didn’t wait for him.

 

What do you like about this character?: Even thought its not stated, He's a calm, peaceful character, and that rather not rush things. He's hardworking and serious in his work, and has the fancy title of doctor. He's also the protective kind, some kind of paternal figures.

What do you dislike about this character?: He's way too much focused on his work, sometime forgetting the "fun time".

What do you think makes this character fit to be a head of staff?: Helmut got a decent education, and a lot of work experiences. The fact that he can remain calm in all situations allow him to think how to get ride of the current problem, in a calm and smart manner. He's also not the kind to rush thing, prefering long terms solutions than short terms one.

I've always enjoyed playing science with Helmut and Emmerich as Warden, two really chill competent characters, would be cool seeing them as heads.

I came back to the server on a round where I saw some crazy old guy named Helmut Kronigernischultz speaking in a stupidly thick German accent, and assumed he was a joke.

I was very wrong. This player is respectful and invested, and his character gives a damn about crew safety and regulation. I would be pleased to see him promoted.

I'm a bit biased because you tell me all the time that you love me in OOC, and whisper sweet nothings in my ears about forcing Tajara to adhere to the uniform policy that's been effective since March 15. I've only known Helmut Kronigernischultz (Main), Stanislas von Kurgebergst (Main), PyroBOT (AI) (Copied and pasted for ease for me) and of those two mostly Helmut and PyroBot. Helmut is certainly an interesting take on the German-accented scientist, and not yet another generic nazi mad scientist impersonation. I certainly think he can hack it as a research director, if he can snap the whip at reckless and dangerous researchers. So, yes, +1. I <3 you too

and as mofo said, he isnt a boring gimmick character, i havent had any negative encounters with him.

I just got back from the dentist and don't really feel like hamming it up with a big paragraph so I'll keep it short. Pyro plays competent characters and has a level head, I don't see him fucking around very often unless he's trying to meme me in ooc which is a good thing for a head of staff. I'll give him my support only if he promises to fax me useless things that I'll end up ignoring out of spite only to PM him about it smugly later.

When Pyro is not busy bullying me over vented AI cores or telling me off for stepping into his deadchat he's often playing some quite cool characters.. Each one has their quirks and are unique in their own way, His AI is good aswell, not too much personality and not too boring.. Just like an AI should be.. This man needs to invade command with their german way of speech.
