Butterrobber202 Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 Its just a cool and nifty thing to have. For those of you that don't know, the IIS Module spawns in the CE and RD Hardsuits and allows the RIG to house a pAI, who can assist the user by combining pAI Function with suit functions. I wanted to add it to the Paramedic because: 1.) The IIS Module is EXTREMELY Fragile, one EMP is enough to fry it and trap the pAI inside. 2.) The Paramedic is often in areas that he/she could require assistance getting out of. 3.) If the Paramedic dies during a rescue call, the pAI can actually take manual control of the RIG and move him/her to a safer area for pickup. 4.) Having a pAI in your suit is fucking awesome. I'd even say an IIS Module would be useful for all RIG Suits. But just the Para-RIG for now.
MoondancerPony Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 Maybe allow Cargo to order them, if they can't already? I think the paramedic rig should start with one and you should have to get one from somewhere else if you want it on any other rig.
Alberyk Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 Robotics can print those with low tech and just glass and metal.
Haveatya Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 I agree because it is cool, playing CE a lot when I get a pAI it amusing for both parties to use the RIGs. However, I was under the impression only a normal AI could move the suit but a pAI could deploy the suit, activate modules, etc. It would be cool to stick a pAI in a RIG and it could operate it without a person, like a skeletal suit of armor almost.....
Arrow768 Posted August 2, 2017 Posted August 2, 2017 Can be printed by robotics easily. Therefore voting for dismissal
Ron Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 I agree with Arrow. Gives robotics more use. Archiving as this is the second dismissal vote.
