Code: Select all

BYOND key:

Character names:

How long have you been playing on Aurora?:

Why do you wish to be on the whitelist?:

Why did you come to Aurora?:

Have you read the Aurora wiki on the head roles and qualifications you plan on playing?:

Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph each.

Give a definition of what you think roleplay is, and should be about:

What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?:

What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?:I think the OOC responsibilities to whitelisted players, are to properly roleplay their jobs and races. Other than that I don't believe they have any other duties. Personally, I'll try to remind other whitelisted people who may be abusing their role or race of the rules and responsibilities that come with said role or race. If this proves ineffective I'll Ahelp it. ^^

Please pick one of your characters for this section, and provide well articulated responses to the following questions.

Character name: Cora Camire

Character age:

Please provide a short biography of this character (approx 2 paragraphs): Cora Camire grew up in the Sol system, more accurately on earth. Her childhood as a whole simply wasn't noteworthy. Other than becoming interested in things such as robotics and law, (Odd combo, but I actually also have these two interests) She did build the odd drone, and did enjoy to keep updated on more publicized cases for her interest in law.

In her few post-secondary years she did join various clubs for both of her interests, though she only really went in to study robotics, and computer science. Again still having an interest in law, she did also join things like debate clubs, and would constantly be learning things like corporate law on her own. Upon hearing about the opportunity on the NSS cyberiad, she started brushing up more on space law, and Standard operating procedure, craving a job in the internal affairs agency. Though she would also settle for robotics if she had to.

What do you like about this character?: I made her interests around mine, which makes her easy, and fun to roleplay.

What do you dislike about this character?: I try to make my characters to my own liking, but if I had to pick something, I might say her name?

What do you think makes this character fit to be a head of staff?: I don't necesarrily think that IAA is a head, but I do think that her (Aswell as my own) interest in the area, aswell as her know-how, Makes her fit!

Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions.

How would you rate your own roleplaying?: On a scale from 1-10, maybe a low 8? I know I'm not the best. But I like to think I'm on the higher side of things. Though I will acknowledge that I'm not the best writer!

Extra notes: Naaaada. I really hope you guys approve this! thanks!

Going to have to go for -1 as of now.

You're way too new to the server, I don't believe there's anyone who is ready to vouch for you for a head of staff whitelist.

the only time I've seen you play you broke the same simple server rule twice after being talked to, I won't hold this against you fully because you said you were on meds, but the quality was pretty low.

So until you've proven you can roleplay to standards I'm going against this.

There are a multitude of problems with this application. First and foremost, it isn't finished. Secondly, you are very, very new. Thirdly, I think your answer to the OOC responsibilities question is very, very lacking. You pretty much say there aren't any, except to roleplay well. Your character's backstory is just detailing their interests, and you seem to set it up for a joint IAA/roboticist, which just couldn't happen - they are both very high skill jobs, one person couldn't do both. Fifth, we don't play on the Cyberiad, we play on the Aurora.

If you want even a chance to be accepted, you have a lot of changes to make, and you'll probably need to play for a few weeks more, anyway. For now, a definite -1.
