The reason IPCs had gained so many roles in NT was due to past events and even a week long antagonist contest. Just outright removing them from the positions would just completely wipe all the work people have done just to remove those IPC players you feel are memeing in the roles. (Which, if you feel they are doing so, perhaps you should inform Cake or Kyres about them, or even Coalf and the Head of Staff whitelist teams, because that is definitely a whitelisting issue.) One of the main reasons why IPCs have so many different options for head roles is because NT is trying to appease the Tau Ceti 'Progressive' mindset, In addition to that, not all head-jobs require what you say they require, ya' know? Chief Engineer really requires someone who can thing on the fly, and able to solve problems quickly. IAA needs someone who is cold and isn't plagued by bias, something a cold-hard machine would more than be able to do HoP and HoS need the ability to cordinate large amounts of people, and even the HoS is chipped with absolute loyalty much like the other loyalty implanted organic personal. CMO needs someone who can handle situations quickly, in case of an emergency, I really don't understand the "Robots cannot feel empathy11!!11!", when in reality, all it would require is programming to fit something that is like empathy, but even empathy isn't a big part of the CMO slot, its being able to coordinate your team into one common goal. RD is the same as that, its a Research Director, someone who directs a team. I very much disagree with the outright removal of IPC heads of Staff, because its just brushing off months and months of roleplay and IC actions. Also if you don't like being bossed around by a toaster, bring it up ICly, make your character a member of ATLAS or something. Dispute their rank ICly, don't punish the playerbase OOCly. Massive -1.

It'll just become like the merchant slot, people will eventually just stop trying to play it and that's not a good way to solve the problem. It does get pretty annoying when an AI just points out an antag five minutes into the round, but I feel this solution isn't the best one to solve that problem, perhaps we can edit how cameras work, maybe make it easier for Antags to mask themselves from the AI through telecrystal items or other mechanic means, and not punish the people just want to play the role they enjoy and can't because it just didn't spawn that round.

So, among the many bans on our server, you also went to Bay, and were banned for similar reasons, and you come back expecting us to believe that you have changed? You have two perma bans on record, as well as numerous bans and warnings showcasing the same thing over and over, and you have also shown that you did not learn from your mistakes, and just took it to another server, which you were also banned from. I personally do not believe you should be unbanned, but it's really up to Alberyk.

What exactly were you banned from Bay for? Like, what do you mean by "Overstepping boundaries"?

I had very little involvement besides the bwoink to Travis. The bwoink was because of an Ahelp from Facism about how one of his borgs just up and stated their 0th law a bit after they were created, and outed them before they could do anything, the round was about an hour and a half in from my memory, so yes there was plenty of time for something to happen, but I still think stating the law to screw over the AI was a bit of a dick move. I am not condoning what was done here, nor am I taking a stance on which side is right, due to my extreme lack of knowledge from the round. I had joined for like, 15 minutes before taking the Ahelp, so I have no clue if the AI had done anything yet, or was just stealth AI'ing, though I would like to note, the attitude in both LOOC and OOC was not accounted for, and would like to take this message to say, hey if you have a problem don't flame in OOC about it, doesn't solve anything, and only makes things more difficult.

Seeing as the requested parties gave their closing statements, I'll get with Matt and begin writing up the conclusion for this. In the meantime, feel free to add any last minute comments, I'll try to keep up with them.

I do believe that there needs to be (And is in the process of happening) a change mechanically with how the Hypospray works, Being able to inject someone wearing a rigsuit/hardsuit/voidsuit is super unrealistic, seeing as all a hypospray is, is a pulse of air that pushes through the skin to inject chemicals directly into the bloodstream without the need of a needle, being able to instantly metabolize chemicals in the blood stream through a suit, with out the use of the injection port like every other instance of injectors uses is pretty overpowered. I'd like some feedback from [mention]SatinsPristOTD[/mention], [mention]Resilynn[/mention], and [mention]Arrow768[/mention] before I move forward with this complaint.

Myself and Matt spoke to each other about this type of situation last night, and have both come to the conclusion that running in and hypospray sophoricing an Antag is super unfun, and can be concidered powergaming and or validhunting based off of how we have handled these types of situations in the past. I personally think it's a cheap way to end the round, see an Antsy, run up to them and click them before they can react. I will continue to talk with other staff members on the situation, but for now this is how I feel about it.

Matt and I will be taking this complaint, allow us some time to talk about the situation before writing up a response.

As a staff member, my interactions with you have been mixed, from my experience your Security Officer quickly jumps the gun and is very impulsive, your RP is passable at best and generally speaking I wouldn't really want to see you as an HoS until your attitude and actions changed. Though this is purely my experiences. Reading over your story, there's not much more I can add that has not been said already, it's snowflakey, over the top, unrealistic, and seems like it should be an application for some MRP whitelist, definitely not on a HRP server. Massive -1 from me until I see improvement both in the application and general server behavior

Alrighty, after fully going through the logs, I've decided how the situation should be handled. I will be speaking to Maereo about what situations warrant the use of NL, LTL, and Leathals, and will be putting down a note to hopefully prevent this situation in the future. Locking and Archiving

Alrighty, Strudels initial overview of this seeing as I haven't had a chance to thoroughly go through the logs in full. From my understanding, and from the logs that I have read so far, you used a gun straight off the bat, completely skipping over Non-lethals like the taser and flash and went straight to less-than-lethal rounds. You seem to have very little in terms of reasoning to pull out less-than-lethal rounds on someone who hasn't posed a major threat to the crew yet, and it really just seems like you meta'd the fact that they were a Vampire. That is my thoughts so far, a discussion about it while I continue to go through the logs would be appreciated. Also yes, please keep this civil, there's been much hostility on both sides, and riling each other up isn't going to make this easier on anyone's part, and in the end doesn't do anything productive, lets just stick to the information.

Eve I believe you have improved yourself over the past moth or two. I've gotten to know you oocly and enjoy your company. I believe your RPing abilities are pretty good, maybe some room for improvement but everyone is a critique. I think the only thing I dislike about this app is it seems like a cop and paste from the other. Though that isn'the a major problem, as the story is fine, but I believe you could have maybe added some more details to it in the time between applications Overall, I do think you deserve a +1

As the person who made KE a thing, how could I not +1 this application Jokes aside, the story is pretty interesting, and overall I think it'd bring some interesting RP to the station +1

Hey there, sorry for such a late response but I think I've come to the conclusion. I have a few points I want to hit on in this. Firstly Artur, you've been here for a year or two, and have MANY notes on LRP behavior, and that is not acceptable what-so-ever on a HRP server. Examples of LRP behavior in notes: The consistency of these notes over such a short period of time, and your actions in this round really makes it seem as if you are unfit to play as an Antag. You really seem like you're just playing it to win, and that isn't what being an antag is on this server, being an Antag is about driving a story that is interesting for both the characters in round, and yourself/fellow antags. This brings me to point two. Your Actions in the round were exactly what we don't want to happen with team-based antags, we can understand maybe a group of raiders or mercs disagreeing with each other and doing their own thing, but cutting off T-comms for no reason, and openly ruining the gimmick the other members of the Merc team were trying to do completely ruined the round for both them and some of the people of the station. You're actions caused what could have been an interesting round into a 'welp time to death-match lol' that I hate, and am sure a good majority of the players who play dislike as well. Overall, I really do not feel you are fit to play an Antagonist, from the logs I've read over and your previous actions and notes I believe you need a Antag Job-ban. Though for now it will be permanent, I will make some stipulations on it. The ban must be upheld for at least a month without chance of an appeal, and in that time you must not amass anymore LRP behaviors, at that time you will be allowed to appeal, otherwise I do not believe you should have the ban removed.
