  1. Could we see these anyway? Not being able to see who was apart of the five-way tie is ZZZ.
  2. You haven't really made much of a coherent case to support that aside from "Bahhh the cult only has gank tools and the cult only uses gank tools, never to create fun and only to win." In which case it really stops being a "hate the game" issue and more of a "hate the playa gaming the system" type issue.
  3. To which it's their (the cult's) prerogative. Whether they do or don't hardly matters, the round will progress in the direction it was meant to go. I want to point out the only solutions the OP has presented have just boiled down to "Remove thing because I don't like nor enjoy the thing". There's really not much to be said besides, "Really? Come on," because that just seems like such an overreaction to something as simple as one not liking a game mode enough. There are better ways to approach it. I don't personally think cult needs any meaningful changes (asides from a couple QoL things such as removing the communicate rune and making it so that tomes have an activation option for you to communicate to the rest of the cult for convenience's sake), as it's a pretty solid game mode and cult magic is pretty robust as it stands. There's a fair deal of utility and offensive abilities that I find aren't used enough to a !FUN! degree.
  4. Summoning Nar'sie is an endgoal, getting to that is the hard part. Doing whatever it takes in IC to achieve that goal is more roleplay than most are even close to being cut out for. If you don't like having free will as a part of a cult, then I can really say nothing other than "tough." There is a lot people overlook when folks criticize game modes and don't appreciate enough.
  5. Yes, and this is roleplay. It's not about "doing whatever you want", it is about being a driving story and plot element. It's about being a very small part of the larger picture, like a pawn on the chessboard, as is the point of roleplay in the first place. The individual's needs matter much less than the cause they are pursuing. And the cause of the cult is to perform blood sacrifices to Nar'sie, convert enough of the crew to the darker faith and optionally summon the avatar of Nar'sie if the cult feels it necessary to do. They aren't required to, but pursuing and completing a roleplay goal is part of the fun as an antagonist. I see nothing wrong with cult as is, you are free to not play when it is a cult round. The least one could do rather than complaining about the fact that your character has no free will when their consciousness is bound to a demonic eldritch deity is to roleplay out the fact you're a servant of Nar'sie. Certainly, you can opt for stealth elements so as to conceal your intent and forward your goals without being immediately ousted as a bad guy to the point no one will willingly convert to serve the Geometer. But you still need to roleplay, savvy? Regardless of what side you're on, you need to make an invested effort whether you like the circumstances or not. The only gripe I have with cult as a game mode is that the entire progress of the cult hinges on the starting cultists to have an understanding of what they're doing and they have to be unafraid to occasionally gank folks in order to acquire followers, as very few characters would be aligned well enough to serve something as unsubtle as a death-bringing incomprehensible mass of utter darkness, suffering and gloom. It is genuinely very difficult to execute a cult takeover of the station, because the set-up is always time-consuming and is often prone to miscalculations of scenarios since anybody could be around the corner to see you kidnap someone for conversion. Convincing people to join the cult is just as risky, because that character could see yours as insane and immediately report your suggestions to security. It's the matter of community mentality to work against what they perceive antagonists as greentexting, and as a result that level of powergaming and validhunting is, in itself, also greentexting, because the only thing most people care about is removing the antagonist from the round so they don't have to deal with them later on. To deny an antagonist their ability to progress in some way is appealing to some people and it gives them gratification for throwing them into the permabrig or clicking them until horizontal.
  6. Because you have absolutely nothing to lose aside from this whitelist application here. Do you even play on the server? Last I heard, actually, your activity has significantly dropped in the past month. S-i-g-n-i-f-i-c-a-n-t-l-y. Regardless, I suppose that doesn't matter. The way you've treated other people from what I've seen, you absolutely deserve to lose.
  7. You've officially beaten my total attempts in rewhitelisting. Unfortunately, this is not something to be proud of. Speaking of things to be proud of, let's talk about your attitude. On the minecraft server that one specific community member is running with a bunch of help, you decided it rather appropriate to: 1.) abuse builder mode privileges granted to you in order to cheat yourself iron-quality items you neither obtained by way of roleplay or legitimate mechanics; 2.) blocked in a player exiting a house and threw liquid dirt on them of them in an attempt to grief/kill them; 3.) Blew up in an inappropriate fashion at the server host because they confronted you on both of the above. Unto which, you were then kicked + banned from the server on the basis of griefing and abusing trust. And being really insulting and insufferable, but that last part is just my personal opinion. Now normally this wouldn't be such a massive deal as this is outside of Aurora and so on and such, but I find it relevant specifically for one detail: In your conduct on the MC server, you completely and entirely contradict(ed) everything you promise here in this whitelist application. Oh, my attitude will be better, I won't be disrespectful or rude anymore, I promise. I won't be toxic to other community members and I shall keep their fun in mind. So you said. But you didn't do by that broad set of standards. You managed to miss every mark. I'd say I'm shocked, but I've seen this more than a few times to actually be appalled, so I'll just settle on 'really disappointed'. Let's continue to the discord conversation you started with me after I challenged the idea that the host banned you from the MC server because you jokingly insulted them and they were off their rocker or whatever. Maybe to other people that bother to read this, they'll figure something a little bit different. Let's get a couple things clear though, if no one cares I'll just put it in a spoiler. Skip to whatever's next if you will. I'd feel pretty bad for myself if I didn't defend my 'good name'. Not that any of the above 3 points really matter, but what sort of self-absorbed ponce would I be if I didn't bother in addressing the things you said? Hopefully, one day, you'll be able to make as good excuses as I do for doing things. Today was not that day, though, and considering your lack of sincerity for anything you've said you'll improve off of, I don't think you're particularly deserving of any privilege that gives you immediate positions of power. You do incredibly poorly with it, and without it, oddly enough. Probably worse off with it, frankly. Kinda the point, though. -1.
  8. Switched skin into a chicken, was chased around for 20 minutes during prep by veracocks as he threw unlimited amounts of eggs at me thereby inflating the already existent chicken problem Fort Borealis already had. good stuff
