Our system of government is a parliamentary-based democracy led by a Prime Nymph, and we are a sub-sovereign entity to our larger counterpart. Right now, if you want to catalog the library into the computer you have to take every book off the shelf one by one. I usually do this and fill the book bag and then go through scanning each one and then re-shelve them. This would be a LOT easier if using the bookbag on the shelf loaded its contents into the bookbag - I don't particularly care about reverse-functionality to load the bookshelf as that is relatively easy and doesn't involve the bookshelf list menu.

There is a Christian rosary somewhere in the code that is a leftover from Bay's custom items - if it wasn't removed, it would be great if it spawned in the chaplain's locker for Christian/Catholic Priests. It'd also be neat if when praying as chaplain: - Your prayer is coloured differently to admins than non-Chaplains - It includes your deity's name you selected automatically And for all praying: - It shows whatever religion you have set so the admins know your faith when receiving your prayers if it isn't obvious already through your prayer.

There are expectations of code green sec. You cannot enter departments without a warrant, you cannot carry visible weaponry. And Heads of Security often do order someone to watch the cameras - because that's a very basic yet functional security task that negates the need to patrol departments.

In my experience with N8-Toe on a different roleplay oriented server (I have not interacted much with his characters here), I know he is competent and capable of holding positions of roleplay and character responsibility such as Command Staff. On Persistence (I am an Admin there), his character was nominated and confirmed as 'Director of Internal Control' which was essentially responsible for internal affairs like things, and the work he did in that role in character was amazing. +1 +1 +1

I think you should play Aurora more and reapply in a few months. You lack a solid hold on our lore (which isn't completely important for Heads, but I think it's relatively something they should know) and your answers in response to the questions are relatively lackluster. I think you'll grow into your HRP-self in this community if you give it a bit of time. -1 for now, however.

I was originally against this when I read it, but I think it would be a good thing - I'm already super comfortable diagnosing without an advanced body scan and have been for awhile. We just need to teach our newer medical players the ropes.

In the real world, at least in Canada - if you try to do CPR and end up hurting the person, you cannot be held responsible at all. None of these IRL or IC regulations actually make any sense in an argument about IPCs mechanically being able to do chest compression... Every character on board is able to do them, we have never restricted skills mechanically.

where I come from, CPR is taught in high school and everyone knows how to do it...

Their group became trapped in an exhibit on Aristotle and democratic theory for a few days and after this extensive confinement, they became infatuated with the philosopher and democracy. Painful Fruits functions democratically in everything that it does. Large matters such as personality, friendship, education and career choice and other such things are handled through an absolute majority vote of all citizens in the Cyclops, while smaller issues such as what to consume, where to go and how to get there are handled by the Prime Nymph that makes up the eye-stock. Painful Fruits’ hands are both Ambassadors, and any sort of interaction with a foreign biological entity is considered a diplomatic occasion – as such, they consider shaking hands to be very special and a weak handshake may offend the diplomatic nymphs into convincing the citizenry to vote no-confidence in friendship of the person they are meeting. The current Prime Nymph, which is elected every six months, is known as ‘A Single Vote in a Pool of Upending Political Decisions’, but it is not considered appropriate to address Cyclopian leaders by their individual names except during while gestalt. SVPUPD has been Prime Nymph for three terms in a row, and remains popular within the cyclops. What do you like about this character? I think that I came up with a really unique idea and I'm super excited to be able to put it into action, even better is that I've shared this concept with other players whom have expressed interest in being a part of the larger organization of the Argus as individual Cyclops running their variations of democracy which will make playing this character even more enjoyable. I'm also specifically excited to play out the revered hand-shaking process and see how that might manifest ceremoniously with the character and others. As for rating my roleplay ability - I generally go with about a seven (7), as I've been able to attain multiple species whitelists and have experience roleplaying diverse humans and diverse xenos. I always think there is room for improvement in any skill or talent so I believe a seven is a reasonable number to hover at. I like department sec but think that all officers should remain under the direct command of the Head of Security. We have a chain of command for a reason and fragmenting security under four other Heads of Staff doesn't seem that smart nor does any other company I can think of use this model.

I would like similar sprites to these, but perhaps the arms removed. They are based of IRL police robot models. Some adjustments for our environment will be required.

\ Port these to Aurora, they'll help fill a gap left by Security Cyborgs without enabling valid-hunting, powergaming and OPness in general. Would even suggest not giving them security comms access, but Service access instead as they will be focused more on promoting morale and wellness.

The blue is hideous. Command can stay blue as a department colour coding but the captain's uniform sprite is old and bad quality.
