  1. The suit in question as a Heph Industries Banshee Combat suit, very unique and Roberts had hers confiscated earlier in the shift when she fled from Security. And Yes, Roberts was literally beheaded with multiple witnesses. I had begun to believe the story that she used plastic surgery to disguise someone else, but she'd had never left Nina Thompson (her traitor friend) to be arrested/killed with her body double, and it was highly improbable that during an active security chase, she had enough time to find a person, kidnap them without making a scene, plastic surgery them and then convince them to pretend to be here in an escape/combat situation. I never knew nor was informed the checkpoint was broken into, actually. Not even post round until now. Yes, all other species can equip suit coolers - I've never see someone do this once unless they were an IPC, and logically a criminal is going to save hardsuit space for equipment they genuinely need.
  2. @Alberyk @tbear13 @Cnaym @ShesTrying @sonicgotnuked I think this is everyone named in the complaint.
  3. BYOND Key: XanderDox Staff BYOND Key: All of these staff members were online when Tbear told me they all agreed with his belief, so this complaint is against all of them. Game ID: b62-cy85 Reason for complaint: I think the reason for the warning is farcical and overly attempts to control how players make decisions or play their characters. Evidence/logs/etc: Additional remarks: From the rules: I was warned for metagaming by Tbear, because I determined using inductive reasoning and logic, at almost end round, a crew member was a 'criminal'. Jacqulen Roberts had been beheaded by an Officer during an arrest. Shortly after, someone came on comms saying THEY were Roberts, and that they had used plastic surgery to disguise another person as them. They deliberately asked me to come look at them on cameras, take a picture and confirm they were Roberts. When I did this, I noticed they were wearing a suit cooling unit. I know as an AI, that suit cooling units are only used by IPCs to prevent heat-death. I then realized that there is an IPC Officer, 'Omen', that had direct access to all of Robert's confiscated gear (a Banshee Hardsuit) that the Fake Roberts was wearing when they called me, they were also wearing a security belt. Knowing this, I then went to check the locations of the other IPC crew, none of whom were in spacesuits or space at the time. Only Omen was untraceable and off sensors, and he suspiciously had not been heavily involved in the Bridge Raid to capture Roberts and Thompson. It was at this point that over the Security channel, I informed Security of my determination. As soon as I said this, Omen/Fake Roberts confirmed my theory. It was near round end, I used completely in game facts and information, the antag did not seem mad, and there was no metagaming involved. I believe that once again, I am being targeted by staff over petty issues in hopes to remove me from the community.
  4. The current sprites are very bad and so this replacement has been a longtime coming.
  5. Any medical doctor working in a hospital, especially in an emergency ward, would be able to conduct first response at an advanced level - equal to or surpassing an EMT/Paramedic. They have years of medical training in comparison to the six months to three years an EMT or Paramedic may have. An emergency-specialized physician would be even more capable of handling first response than a doctor that is used to non-emergency cases, because this is literally their specialty. I see no reason a CMO shouldn't ask an Emergency Physician to handle emergency response if they are present and an EMT/Paramedic are not. All crew are expected to know how to use EVA suits, professional crew are expected to know how to use their department suits. While you cannot handle the EMT/Paramedic RIG - this is not an excuse not to try and rescue people. This entire suggestion seems a tad silly.
  6. Regardless of how much Jackboot and I disagree with one another - it is undeniable that he is an extremely capable roleplayer and active community member that knows the server's lore deeply. There is not much more you can ask for in a command whitelistee, and I think (again, as someone that Jackboot has blocked and has blocked Jackboot) that both of his whitelist removals were trash decisions and that he deserves to have one. Jackboot also dedicated the last what, five years of his life? All to help write, quality control and guide SS13's most consistent and well written server lore here on Aurora. Removing his whitelist over a simple Atmospheric Technician issue when I have seen numerous other Head Whitelistees recieve much lighter punishments for much more serious indiscretions makes this seem entirely like the issuing staff member simply had bad blood for Jackboot or a bone to pick with them. Jackboot is and always will be an incredible community member, contributor to the lore, and enjoyable player - give this man his god damn whitelist back. +1
  7. The random numbers chosen for the populations of planets for humans will absolutely not impact and never has impacted how I have constructed or played a human character, honestly. I don't think this is that big of an issue.
  8. Just succumb and die if you're bored.
  9. I support this, but due to it still being a bit strange that a crew transfer would come during code red - I suggest that any crew transfer called during code red be sent with a CC announcement that says something like
  10. We already have Pope and Vatican lore. Are you proposing it be entirely replaced with this?
  11. The Captain already serves as a representative of NanoTrasen on board and that's why he has ultimate operational authority. Having a NanoTrasen Representative on board doesn't actually make much sense at all, which is why IAA made more sense. NT is already represented by a Captain and five Heads of Staff
  12. Just put the spare in the vault.
  13. Love it. Thanks for accepting the feedback!
  14. Abductazine is objectively a terribly tongue-in-cheek name, and should be replaced with something more reasonable.
  15. Hi I was accused of wanting to valid and bolt down doors and electrify them as AI. I wish to clarify, as my last response here, that I did not shock any doors at any point in that round, and I only bolted doors twice. Once, when the Mercs arrived and rushed towards the bridge - I locked the bridge down. And the second time when Security opened fire on the now confirmed CC Merc Team. I would appreciate that further slander against me or my character not occur on this complaint, especially when such commentary is not related to the complaint at all.
  16. @Arrow768 this must be moved to binned projects.
  17. Hello, I was the AI as @Garnascus has said. When the Mercs first arrived, I reported them as intruders as they were not on the manifest and they were heavily armed and moving towards the bridge, then communications went down and I could not communicate with these intruders or the crew. Then I saw the CMO approach them, and to me without being able to hear it seemed like they had blocked the CMO off from fleeing towards the bridge or center of the station as they were flanked on either side of them. This is when I made my announcement that the intruders had made it to the bridge and were taking the CMO hostage - as this was my best knowledge at the time. Once communications came up, the Mercenaries and Command both touched base with me to clarify they were from Central Command - cue the CC Announcement clarifying their role. I immediately informed Security it was a false alarm that was completely my fault while they were in the armoury still gearing up. Instead of stopping their gear-up, they continued and one officer accused me of being subverted. Security continued to ignore Station Command's order to disarm, the Acting Captain's order to disarm, and the CC Announcement saying listen to the god damn Policy Enforcement (Merc) Team. Then, the Forensic Technician said something like "You should just rebel then." - due to the fact security was fully armed WITH tactical gear due to a lucky cargo find, refusing to comply with command's orders, and now one of them was encouraging sedition - I informed Command and the Mercenary team that Security was beginning to behave seditiously and that a mutiny could very well break out. Security was also talking about having a strike. Lo and behold', Security got tired of debating with the Mercenary team, who had thus far only stunned a person that was encouraging rebellion (Security stuns people ALL the time and yet they were ready to go to war over this incident), and I wasn't aware of any incident with the diona except the fact the diona was actively harassing both me the AI, and the mercenary team. Security's decision was to suddenly open fire on the mercenaries in the security lobby with no legitimate provocation, in an act of blatant mutiny. Noir stated their intent to seize Acting Captain Ora, and this sent me into mutiny mode. I locked down security, informed crew that they were committing a mutiny, and ordered all synthetics slaved to me to protect the Command Staff. I have no information after this as I ended up wiping core to handle an extensive ahelp discussion regarding an AI's ability to harm people to defend command staff from mutiny. In my opinion, Security engaged in hyper-valids this shift refusing the direction of numerous sources of corporate authority to stand the fuck down. It really annoyed me, and I wish I had just locked them in the armoury so they couldn't have interfered with the gimmick so much. But I don't know which of the security members were revs, loyalists or such - so that changes the dynamic a lot. I thought it was just MERC for the longest time.
  18. I haven't seen scientists who go around upgrading anyone's equipment in ages and on the contrary, I've seen scientists that act outright hostile if you ask. So +1 for this.
  19. Fairly certain you do, as you can no longer us the radio while handcuffed.
  20. -1 with no feedback = bad post.
  21. @sonicgotnuked can you find a dev to implement this because I like it.
  22. Based question. Captains cannot seem to win in this regard. Either we're frontlining by trying to see whats going on or be involved in the round or we're turtling too much by staying in the Bridge
  23. Sacrifice was originally used to gain extra cult words when we had a word-based system. It is literally pointless now except to kill and leave gibs behind.
