1. No, no no no no. No. People are looking at in a sexual way, which is really not what it was in the slightest. It was a joke about a robot having a robot child, because the 'child' was a three foot tall IPC that had the personality of one. That's it, it wasn't meant in any other way. I can see how it can be taken another way, but dear lord please no. Please don't. I didn't see the chucklefucking being taken serious, but when it was, dear lord it was taken in the worst possible way people could have done so. Most people with the full context of the situation seem to be saying it wasn't that much of a bad thing(Aside from security, but we were mostly just annoying them.) A lot of things in the initial post are removed from context, such as within messages to others. Please. Please try to look at it in the way it was intended. It does not make it any less chucklefucky, but it certainly isn't what you said. It did get out of hand with a large handful of things said, along with many of the actions(Which warranted arrest, though it was mostly just misuse of comms and yelling silly things). It was a silly situation that I just thought was innocent really, and didn't think much otherwise due to nobody saying a word on it putting them off ease. There wasn't a time that I saw it becoming a legitimate problem to people however, because again, nothing sexual at all was intended through this. It got carried away and I shouldn't have let it happen. Went past the limits of a tasteful joke and any form of the word realistic, so it should have just been put down much earlier on.
2. Okay, this is being looked at in a way that is muuuuch more different than it was intended. In my mind(And I assume Sleepy's) it was moreso just a thing of two robots pretending to be a family. It was extreme chucklefucking, yes, though it didn't have any intention whatsoever to lean towards erp. It was fully intended just for Phobos to act like it had a child, nothing more, nothing less. Can I see how it got out of hand and can be seen that way? Of course. I asked for it to be toned back myself, along the way. It was just something silly that got way too far out of hand, that I should have put down before it did so; I didn't see anything uncomfortable with it mainly through the fact that I genuinely wasn't looking at it in the way others were seeing it. If someone had said something to me about it genuinely making them uncomfortable, LOOC, ahelps, anything of the sort, it would have stopped immediately. I didn't think about the fact that it could make others uncomfortable due to how I was looking at it, and I apologize for those who felt that way. I did stop to think about it a few times along the way, though in my mind, it was harmless for the most part(Most, I did notice a few things.) My perspective on this was off I suppose, and I'll refrain from having this happen in the future. I messed up pretty badly with the amount of chucklefucking done, my mistake. I'm sorry. Summary, I viewed it as a joke with a robot pretending to have a child, nothing beyond that, and let it get way too out of hand. I am entirely guilty of knowingly chucklefucking, though(I was also very tired). My bad. Let me stress: I looked at this entirely different at the time, but entirely understand where everyone is coming from. I am sorry for making anyone uncomfortable by having it get as bad as it did, I fucked up.
3. Haruspex' Book club.png A book club, hosted by Haruspex. Security didn't like that Him, Phobos, and Lilac were tabling every single person in the library and screeching loudly while they did so. But such is the way of the book club.
4. It's only okay if the tattoos are on buttcheeks. And they have to be sexy buttcheeks. In all seriousness, I don't see a problem with that. That's something I feel flavour text is for, along with people's edgy scars and whatnot. Stuff you'd actually just see, nothing more, nothing less. As long as it stays realistic.
5. This isn't acceptable, every bee in question will be thoroughly tableslammed and then dunked into a basketball hoop.
6. Yes please. Someone was recently brought to my attention about this, and it was worked out within a minute or two. We just need to be told.

Beekeeping suits

I have to tableslam bees pretty much every round someone uses them. Yes please.

Skrell

But..But that's dumb. Dumb, but it is a thing.

Brains already give biotech. Just a note, don't see why another organ couldn't.
10. Due to recent events, general antag ban has been applied, this complaint contributed to the decision and it is to be considered the punishment. Staff decision made, complaint considered resolved.
11. So, Meowy was the botanist and people had their usual ghost party over her, and she eventually decided to order bees and get them put in. This did not go very well. This attacking went on for a long while, before eventually she went into crit, continuing to just swing at the bees until she was down. After that, she died very, very quickly. The bees do not fuck around. Even face-slamming didn't save her. The officer assisting, Yinzr, was also hungry. Just because they're amphibians doesn't mean they're frog people... You can't stop me from calling them frog people. Ribbit.

I don't know if they already do, but would it make sense for Skrell to have some resistance to burn damage as well, with their gross mucus coatings and whatnot whenever it's active? I'd imagine burning through that and into their frog-person bodies would be a bit more difficult than with others.
14. I actually wanted to learn more about this too, I was the HoS that round but didn't reeeaally get the chance to speak for too long, because, well, Malf AI.
15. I believe I was actually knocked out/down roughly three times in the fight, certainly long enough to be stripped of at least the helmet or the suit, which would have gotten me killed easily. I was actually worried each time I was knocked down, but it didn't happen.
16. It's only in riot gear. Earlier in the round I was against a single ghostie, who nearly put me into crit after a /very/ brief battle. The only reason I survived was because the ghost disappeared into a little pile of remains before it finished cutting into me. With the permabrig, I do not doubt I would have eventually been taken down, because my health actually started declining once they figured it out and disarmed me, and I lost the shield; though at that point gas had been released so they didn't get to hit me much more. But yeah. I was facing two of them during most of the fight, before gas. So I think it was more the riot gear, and the shield blocking a hell of a lot.
17. I NEED them. Someone. Pls.
18. I suggest we just gib Voltage's characters every time he tries to play.
19. IAM is one of the few borgs that I actually remember. He is an absolute joy to just speak with, always providing interesting roleplay whenever I encounter him. Seeing him as an IPC would be absolutely wonderful, as I feel that it will expand upon the character's capability to provide quality interactions even moreso. On top of this, I've seen quality roleplay in another character of Aedan's, that being Austin Hunt. I don't ever recall seeing anything too negative from Aedan with IC behavior, or OOC, either. He has proven that he is capable, and with that, I give a big ole' +1
20. I have yet to see a character from Erik that I did not enjoy, in one way or another. He always manages to give his characters an in-depth feel, seeming well thought out. It's great to see them develop even further, even if it's into a screaming, half-mechanical maniac(Which sometimes can get ridiculous, but not too much so.) that is possibly the most-known character just under Essel. I'm really looking forward to seeing how he plays an IPC, as I genuinely feel the same quality will be shown. +1
21. Later Neb, good on you for doin' what you need to do.

23. BYOND Key: Ryfus Ryfer Character Names: Axton Florent, Acel Delrico, Lane Davis, others that nobody knows at all. How long have you been playing on Aurora: Six months-ishy. Species you are applying to play: IPC What color do you plan on making your first alien character (Dionaea & IPCs exempt): More swag Have you read our lore section's page on this species?: I read bay's and the little bit we have, but couldn't find much else? Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph format. One paragraph minimum per question Why do you wish to play this specific race: Because I find IPCs to be incredibly entertaining, and honestly the most appealing to play as from past experience. They have so much flexibility with how they can behave, from a cold, emotionless to machine to a dorky robot full of energy and happiness; unable to be made sad due to just being made that way. They're something that adds a bit of fun to the station among all of the other races with how much variety they bring to the table, and I wish to give it a go myself. ((Also beepbeepbuzzping.)) Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: The difference that interests me the most, is how emotions can be looked at with an IPC as I mentioned before. Unlike Hugh Manns and any other races for that matter, they can have the ability to just feel nothing or only something else in particular. There's the change of being able to act much differently in certain situations, which just adds more of a fun element to things for me. Character Name: Phobos Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs Phobos was created at a military research facility with his brother IPC Deimos, with the original purpose to help train soldiers. They dealt with advanced training exercises, however, due to the nature of their programming, they beat the trainees badly in each test they were involved in. Finding this programming more harmful than anything, they were shut down, taken apart, and redesigned from being 'criminals' for the sake of having them act less aggressive when being used for testing. Through this, their personalities changed from that of an everyday criminal to a more innocent and justice-driven state of mind. Along with this change, their skills were also vastly reduced. With this, they were put back into the training exercises for a small while, though the reduction in skill and change of personality proved for them to be less fit for military duties. Once this had been discovered after several tests, an option was offered to the two IPCs. They had the choice open to work as common security for the NSS Aurora to pay for their freedom, as the research facility found that they did not have much of a use for them. This would prove to give a fair amount of money back to the facility as the two IPCs earned their freedom over time. What do you like about this character? I like that he was originally an edgy fighter that was made with skills that surpassed that of a well-trained soldier, and ended up to be a dorky and much less(Though still acceptably) competent security officer. He is careless and joyful, quite happy that he has his freedom even though he is still in the process of paying for it. How would you rate your role-playing ability? Like five baguettes? Notes: Maybe six?
24. I don't know why I haven't posted here yet, add pls.
25. Lemon has proven to be capable of providing wonderful rp on a few occasions, which is something that might not be easily seen due to Yrsa's quiet nature just as a character. It's a character you seem to have to get to know first, which can make getting a full opinion a lot rougher. But, Lemon is a big dumb scrub like that. Anyhow, I believe she can carry over the quality I've seen to a tajaran. +1
