The Ai locked the doors due to a virus. Victor Kaipov had thought the best course of action for taking down the hostile was to shoot the antique lazer gun, at the Golem, in a room full of people. He ended up hitting Ryu and Rozhad Alakiv for sure. He had heard multiple people also complaining of being shot. Did you report it to a Head of Staff or IAA? If so, who?: It was the end of shift, no time. Additional notes: Victor Kaipov is constantly positioned as an interim head of security. He does not feel safe with someone this poor at decision making holding the responsibility and fire power the Commander and Warden position hold. Also he is fairly certain Kaipov stole the antique lazer gun from the captains office, but that is besides the point.

I've been kinda silently watching you since your first application, (speaking of which, did you make a forum account to +1 it? I've never seen a hollywood undead person in game and that's their only post... weird) and I'd think you still have room to improve, personally. John Jackson, from what I've seen, is basically the same character that Jack was. I hope you take this as constructive critism and points to improve on: -Rational thinking. I see you get angry and do weird things a lot. -Chucklefucking - you do things a lot, I see, just because it makes you laugh. I remember you took people out of their cryo pods and beat them to crit because "They were in my pod" -Diversity - the two characters I've seen you play are pretty much the same thing I do mean well with this. I hope you can improve and get the whitelist.

I don't think Xander was in the wrong about moving the crew to the bar. However, the Godswoods characters, that I saw, were all the same, and with their departure, Niklaus has filled in their exact same shoes. As for the other two you menitioned, I've never seen you play them. I do believe your characters lack variety, but I do enjoy them.

Honestly, in my opinion, this is a high roleplay server. I don't doubt that containing civilians(meaning not security) to a localized, central area is something a real captain would do in this situation. I don't see Xander in any wrong here as literally tonnes of rp opens up when everyone's crammed into a little bar. Also, I would prefer my life to be safe, then for me to continue my work, but that's just me.

I don't know about any of you, but I prefered the HoS's office to be rotated clockwise 90 degrees, like it was when it was at the top of the station.

The second half is some that could hinder the crew if an emergency had come a long. It was not my intention to ruin the round of anyone, infact multiple people ICly told me that they enjoyed the filters. However, the second half had gone to far. My character SAM was as harassed by the CE for installing the first half of the filter, as well as multiple "mishaps" prior. I soon realized it was like four in the morning and holy crap I have work tomorrow, so I needed to go to bed. As I knew the CE was coming back to the satellite to turn off the first half of the filter, I added the second one in as last minute shenanigans. I bring up Tytos because I felt as if it was an insult to Erik by accepting Tytos as opposed to Erik. Again not justifying his actions, just what could have been what provoked it.

I think that enough IPC players do buzz beeps pings and all that jazz enough that I think it'd be a good thing to implement the actual sounds that the borgs have.

I'm not sure I understand why he was rejected in the first place. Please don't take this as me thinking his actions were justified, cause I've never really seen any other than that screen shot. But on a high roleplay server, the lore master turned down someone who was interested in reailism? Long winded debates and arguments is something that that should be embraced, challenges only better the lore. I don't mean any offense towards Tytos, and I'm sure he'll be a great addition to the team, but from what is viewable on the forums, the only reason that he was accepted it seems to be is that he's willing to learn how to do the wiki, which I don't doubt Erik would as well. *Edit xander deleted his comment and someone deleted my other one, so I'm bolding this. I'd like for either someone to teach Bobby how to rp a loyalty implant as my multiple attempts have been unsuccesful, or have his access to roles which have one removed. Especially a role such as IAA.

Those who don't want to die usually become super robust in attempts to keep that from happening, and you'll find that that's a lot less fun than dying and things of the sort.

Now, before this turns into a huge argument thread, I want to clarify that I'm not doing this to spark any arguments. So, this post what's it about. As pointed out by the title of this thread, I think science is due for a rework. I don't think any certain thing should be removed, and yeah I think a map update would be cool, but that's not the problem. The problem is this: Don't see it? Well if you look closely, there's only one member of science, on a research station, on board. I'm not complaining about any one person, because it's not their fault. Science can be stale and boring at times, hence this thread. I think that something should be done to make science, mechanically, worth doing. The way I think that this could work is a number of ways: 1. New researchable items. - Maybe an item or two per level, with different functions varying from novelty to actually useful would be a good addition. (Ex. Portal guns, universal translating headset, and i'm sure others can think of more) 2. Increase in difficulty, but more rewarding. - Randomizing the research levels, as in getting rid of "combat""bluespace" and labels like that, 7 or 8 different "variables" that need leveling up, and each item boosts random variables. Sort of like the door wiring function. 3. Malfunctions and Experiments. - I think items needing repairs more and experiments happening more would greatly help in increasing the enjoyment for science members. While yes expirments is an IC thing, people should be curious as to what it does, I just thought it'd be nice to put in here. ICly, this makes no sense whatsoever, a research station with a single science member, but stacked security and civilian department.

I'm all about this one. I hate how crap the HoS' office is now. But I'm not sure how windows into processing to the general public would cause anything but problems, unless it had a privacy shutter sort of deal. I do like how antags will have to actually put in a little more than minimal effort to blow into the armoury now tho.
