would solve the every round OOC message spam of "omg 50 players only 4 readies??" when it's obvious probably more than half the players are afk leaving their game open, and yeah obv staff would be exempt from it

I like the antag off-ship roles, the pirate base has been a good one, cult base is a bit weird though. I think it could be changed to not make them literal cult antags, but just 'cult' ghost roles but they don't get the antag powers of runes and etc. They can be like antagonistic in the sense of "WE'RE WORSHIPING A BLOOD CULT" with all the runes around them, but they functionally are just regular dudes.

Somehow prevent starting Crew Transfer Votes without intent?

I guess I'm wrong about this suggestion, if more of the community don't reply it can be closed. -
Somehow prevent starting Crew Transfer Votes without intent?
Jasorn replied to Jasorn's topic in Policy Suggestions
I'm more so addressing the edge cases of what I said originally, as in low pop rounds, leading to actual dead pop rounds, or just having someone who literally has no idea what's going on (just joined the server and is still in the lobby) starting votes to transfer, and then tons of lobby sitters and other ghosts vote yes with no intention to play the following round. Which is why I ask, why transfer? -

Then just leave the round? -
From what the title says, by 'without intent' I mean randomly starting a crew transfer vote just because you can. I've noticed a lot lately while observing someone will start a transfer vote, and only then do I see them start observing, meaning they have no idea what's going on in the round at all. The vote will usually pass, sure you can say democracy wins, if the vote goes through then it should. Meanwhile ghosts and people idling in the lobby can vote too and muddy the numbers. Another example is someone who is observing or wanting to leave the current round, typically late NA hours where it's deadpop low crew numbers, but people are roleplaying. Again someone would start a vote to transfer, usually in the reasoning of "this round is boring" or "i'm tired and want to go to sleep." Like I said, it IS a vote, but still goes through usually, despite the ability to leave the round whenever you want. What the problem I bring up is people 'disconnected' from the round starting a vote, usually making the majority of the vote to end the round, then just leaving/not playing the next round. So what is even the point of calling the vote? I don't have actual stats on this stuff, but I feel like it's been happening a lot lately with low antag numbers, early morning/late night NA times with extended where it's seemingly going well RP-wise, but then a subset of the players decide to vote end the round, just for the next to be basically empty? Maybe just me, let me know if anyone feels the same?

i can accept a science rework, but a giant expansion on the least used job on the ship being adding more trays? plant more of nothing from the non-existent players?

there is no time limit on rounds, technically they can go on forever, if the majority of players are enjoying the round, then it will continue?

funny, also not april fools for me either, and should probably not be in the serious parts of the forums

As title says, these are the ores used to make the new added metals Aluminum and Lead, currently they don't spawn like typical ores (gold, silver, diamond, etc.) and can only be found using the large industrial drills that drill underground. The quantities you get are negligible usually, and this is the only way to get them since they can't be ordered either (this might be another solution?) Thoughts? Could even just increase the underground mining yields too?

Had a lot of fun doing logistics and almost becoming a bootleg first responder for the bleeding and otherwise dying. The bluespace flares allowing the Canary to used as an emergency evac was awesome, and probably saved a couple lives in the end. Having the cargo drone/shuttle being broken for the first 30 minutes or so was a bit of a bummer, and having no way to charge laser weapons wasn't too great either. Overall was super fun!

I think a middle ground could be had, no names to be mentioned, but it could list important events such as "memorial to the lives lost on: event x, y, z" just to give a name to the event people had died on
