I mean the advantage of Miko as a barman is that he gets to know who in Security he should cap and who to grab, people watching for you.

I was the pAI and I saw no issues with the messing around, it didn't really hinder much apart from being a quirky personality. She may have been yelling, but it didn't stop the converting. If anything, you had two medical staff both in cult which would be enough to set up a small testing room to learn more spells, but instead you went to cryo. Not to mention you had the ability to get protohumans and also the privacy of Medbay to set up the cult. So personally I believe your ragequit screwed the cult over more than the personality quirks of Diisha.

This is why I've taken to using force gloves and revolver. If the civilian whips his manhood out and attempts to be robust, you either shoot him dead or beat the crap out of him with a crowbar. It might sound overly robust, but if you point a gun at them and they try to rush you like an idiot, don't give it a second thought and put them down. It's their choice to not get on the ground.

What personally concerns me more, without speaking out of turn, is that Plahunter was not banned for unloading his gun on the shuttle upon another player. While in the same round, a player who blew out a cell window in the Odin was pretty much immediately banned. Personally either one of them shouldn't have even tried risking it, but the fact the one who did the worse crime got off easy is concerning.

Can't recall the name or what it's actual purpose is. But it appears to be something Xenoarchy use for their carbon based fossils to create life? If someone can find the name for it, I'd be much obliged. And also, if it does do what I think it does then it could help Xenoarchy get the respect it deserves from other departments. Food for thought.

Alright, so I was a Drill Instructor on a GMOD server based on Starship Troopers. While I had IC duties to train new players, I also had to teach them basic roleplaying ability. And this involved a lot of tedious shit that was hard to cover when it came to minges but I'll share a little snippet from my regime. /me's - To display an action of your character. Now there is many uses for such a thing, from your character scratching their chin to them attempting to tackle an enemy. So let's cut to the chase, /me's in combat should always be play to lose. This means, 'Jon Doe attempts to tackle the man' opposed to 'Jon Doe tackles the man, whipping him several times with his manhood to prove how robust he is.' You don't enact an action, and have the outcome declared as well. It disallows roleplay, as you've basically told the players that they can't react because you've decided how it plays out. Trust me, if you leave the outcome open and allowing the players an option to react then you'll have a better time. Though saying that, it is space station thirteen and even bothering with /me's during combat is going to be a idea. But hopefully this thread is somewhat useful, and will be an aid on the road to not getting banned! Have fun, stay safe and play safe, always /me putting the glove on before ERP and do it on authorized servers.

It seems decent, just curious as to whether anyone could recommend it. And being a community focused guy that I am (haw haw) I thought perhaps it would be handy to fabricate some tabletop sessions on the line that all us tinternet people could use to play with eachother.
