Alright, I despise Daja with all my heart but I do like Melody. And I can't see how you'd surpass Haru in being the most insufferable IPC, so I'm curious to see what awful creation you will concoct to cause conflict to my peaceful shifts.

For me, extended is having a breather. You can relax knowing that you won't get violated by a proboscis, gunned down by terrorists or have a Fucking wizard bothering you.
-
Extended is when I ERP in the Warden's office, for reals.

Because playing as the AI or Android is a completely different playstyle not only from eachother, but.from.that of a synthetic crew member. AI has complete control of the station, the cyborgs are specialised to a particular role with all the necessary equipment. While a synthetic crew member is basically just an artificial person or someone that is heavily augmented. The issue you state is pretty arbitrary seeing as if it were the case, it would already be an issue with the IPCs.

I mean, the only compromise I could really see. Would make cloning have a price, be it biomass or something else. Perhaps it causes the character to have the need to rehabilitate themselves, because let's face it, cloning is rushed and imperfect with many complications. People having their bodies torn to pieces, only to be shot out of a vat going 'Zippidy do!' and rushing off back into fray after a few shots of a syringe kind of makes death even more.... meaningless. I personally make my characters spend time in the medbay before heading out after cloning, in my mind they'd need to get used to what is literally a brand new body. It will feel different, scar tissues won't be there, your organs would be free of the pollutants involved in being brought up in a city. All these tiny details that actually would make your body feel somewhat alien in my mind. But this is more of a discussion between roleplay etiquette VS. game mechanics. I mean, go with something that I've proposed or atleast test it for the very least. People can be paranoid, stopping every notion with what ifs and ill thoughts of others. And people can choose to be a dick and grief to prove their points (which isn't really how you should be making your arguments.) But I say it couldn't hurt to test it, nothing ventured nothing gained. And if does go horribly wrong, due to a natural course or a forced outcome by the disagreeing party then atleast the people who were right get to gloat to their heat's content and post dank GIFs to boost the mature discussion to new levels. Edit: So many darn typos, I should really sleep more.

At the moment, work is pretty busy... which is good, means I get paid and can afford to live. Down side of this, I only get a few hours in the day to myself, and during that time I find myself pretty shattered and let's face it, the Aurora life takes a lot of time and energy with two hour rounds along with the enjoyable stress of SS13. So with that, I'm probably not going to be active AS much as I used to be and will probably be on during the weekends or on a good day. There are some members I enjoy chatting to and characters I'm invested in, be it my own or others so I'll be around for sure. And some of you might be asking, why am I writing this post? Mainly just to explain myself to the peeps who may be noticing my declining activity.

You forgot to use caps and bold lettering

I remember trying to talk about cloning in the Heads section and particular people got salty about me bringing it up. If I were to suggest anything Frances, there are people who'll lose their shit if you even mention the word cloning. We'll just have to hope people learn to actually give a fuck about people dying albeit whether or not they'll be cloned.

No offense, but Snowflakey is a lazy term that doesn't really hold much value on a critique. Especially in a universe with space fish, tree people and other wondrously stupid things
-
Ironically cloning has played a large part in one my character's development. I mean, mainly because it's caused her to grow her out again due to the side effects. Which is amusing to say the least. My compromise would be that recovery process from being speed grown in a vat should be longe. Perhaps paralysis in the legs for a set amount of time and other things in that nature.

Rice and a chance to test to your mental mettle.

This how the Asians feed theit children for them to become geniuses. -
Needs a pizza pattern on it

A common tongue should be spoken over comms. Meta paranoia shouldn't affect who you employ, you essentially fail at the basic Roleplaying principles in doing so. Sure it's hard to not have a bias, but you should make an effort to give people a chance. There's my two cents on it until I get back from work.

No where to keep mental patients at all, medbay might be a cross the hall but they do not have a room suited for mental patients either. Captain's Quarters is a Death Trap. You'd think the highest ranking officer would have a secure place, not a target for Nuke Ops. Sec locker room is bigger, yet all the lockers are still cramped into the bottom of the room. I'd recommend adding more or spacing out the lockers. We have places to dump corpses in Evidence, but CSI doesn't have a facility to process corpses. Unless they wish to drag them across the hall to medical, which makes the Evidence closet's trays kind of redundant.
-
Also, there's no regulation books? All these little things mess up how smoothly processing goes. --They are called Corporate Regulation's and are blue books located in the HoS, Detective, Warden, Sec Lobby.
-
Security needs a processing room. Plus interrogation has a chair right infront of the door which looks naff.

We want low level ranks for people who work on a station. A pope is a religious leader, not some budget holy man brought in for morale.

Omen, now kitted in a dark blue hardsuit fitted to his species, swung the bag around his shoulder and the shotgun around the other. "He will head through the breach, his shotgun will clear the bastarrrds out yes," he cackled, bumping into ShyGuy, "we Zhan value loyalty and shall not brrrreak it, though saying this, Omen will not hesitate to shoot you down if you crrross him, but until then let us look out forrr eachother."

Hmm perhaps black lines to represent the joints and connections. We could also play off of this and give those with prosthetics an option for their limbs, opposed to having clay arms.

I wouldn't say I was going through depression per say. But back when I was sixteen, I was under a lot of pressure from many things and were kind of let down by a lot of people. I eventually gave in to the pressure, turning to cutting myself and also cutting words into myself just to sort of vent my anger into something, opposed to punching walls or hurting those dear to me in my life at the time. Eventually my Mother caught wind of what I was doing and she was in a state, mainly because our family has had mental health and suicide incidents in the past. Eventually, as Dea said, I pulled through with immense willpower to overcome my frustrations and anxieties so that I wouldn't put my family through it. My little sister also went through the same thing earlier this year, almost losing her to an overdose on painkillers if she hadn't gotten second thoughts and told someone she was ODing. She also overcame that desire, seeing her family at her bedside all in a state and feeling a lot of regret for doing it. I mean, mine wasn't severe as my sister but what I'm trying to say, is that if you are suffering or have inclinations to do things to put your health at risk. Use those dearest to you as an anchor, be it this community, your family or perhaps close friends, convince yourself that you are needed, are wanted and are love by them and that you'd never let them down. That's my two cents on the whole topic though.

You have wished Messa upon us all! Cat people flee!

I know of a certain Captain who is flat out awful at being any sort of a leader so this statement is true. Baka indeed Also I'd like this
