As purchasing a nuke code sounds to be something that would be heavily vetted by admins, I see no reason why we should include it in the uplink. As Skull has mentioned if traitors want to buy a nuke code, they can simply ahelp and the admins will set a deal up with them. I don't really think "streamlining" this interaction by adding it to the uplink adds anything meaningful. On that grounds, voting for dismissal, unless the admins would like to disagree with my assessment?

As this player, as far as I know, no longer plays here, and nobody else has shared a similar sentiment, voting for dismissal.

If you have an issue with a specific admin ruling, please write a staff complaint. The suggestions subforum is not the place for trying to change admin policy.

Perhaps a better question is to ask why a simple hoodie immediately causes an IPC to overheat?

By a similar route of logic, a Tajara should have a high chance of immolating if using a welding torch without a proper mask.

The way I see it the hydroponics occupation is meant for industrial-level output of produce, hence the focus on trays over grass. I've even considered removing the pasture entirely and replacing it with auto-milking machines and egg-layers. The pasture for public access is where you go to braid flowers in your hair and frolic with the dionaea.

Sillier even, in fact.

In the mean mean time, pAI's having total all access to every door because of Nanako's drone hatches is dumb.

Vaurca Application - Covert0ddity

Vaurca Application - Covert0ddity
LordFowl replied to Covert0ddity's topic in Whitelist Applications Archives
This is not an acceptable colour for a Zo'rane Vaurca. Much of the lore you have written has been removed or otherwise changed - significantly the idea that a Vaurca has to go on some Mormon-like pilgrimage of knowledge and then return to the Titan Prime to report in has been discontinued. As a result, the reasoning for Vaurca being largely seperated from VR has changed - it has become an issue of practicality, in that it is not possible for the VR systems to be maintained in refugee camps and while Titan Prime is largely unoccupied. Ultimately, there is not much more to say. Both of your applications follow a standard issue with many xeno whitelist applications - they're bereft of actual content. I'd like to go on record that despite the proactivism of SleepyWolf I do not forbid Bound whitelist applications, merely suggest against it if the original application is unsatisfying. In both cases however the backstory is unsatisfying due to the aforementioned lack of content. I strongly suggest expanding on it, as the current backstory is really no more than a few lines of dialogue than an actual backstory. A common checklist I like to suggest is; 1: More detailed description of their experience in VR, in waking up from VR, in first meeting with humans. 2: More detailed description of their life on Biesel or wherever they come from, and description of what that entails. In Biesel's case description of life in the slums. 3: More detailed description of their first days with NanoTrasen, or if the applicant is insisting on playing a character that was literally just hired, their experience with NanoTrasen recruitment, etc. These three checkpoints serve as robust milestones for guaging an applicant's attention to the lore in it's broadest sense, although I of course encourage you to expand even further. I would definitely personally suggest looking over the wiki in all of its somewhat haphazard glory, since so much has changed since you have been gone. -
Newmap - Open spaces should be made more distinct.

Dev team is tracking this issue. An animated sprite is something I had not thought of, though. -
As I put it perhaps a fair bit nicer in the last thread ((https://forums.aurorastation.org/viewtopic.php?f=72&t=5711); Finally, as it stands, since you have seen fit to revive that thread I heavily encourage you and anyone else interested to read through it and probably the handful of threads that came before it before proceeding, and then creating a convincing and if not polite than at least sterile argument as to why the argument for a second OR has improved or changed compared to the past, if you would like to see this current thread go anywhere but derailment.

I am fairly certain you've dropped the ball on your research here, as doctor slots were not touched. I will double check to your benefit, however. I really fail to see the comparison between genetics and surgery, but I will confidently say that that is indeed a thing I authorized, as is evident. I remain as opposed to this as I always have the times it is brought up, but it is a fair reminder to observe medical during the testing tomorrow.

No. We already have the problem of roboticists up and constructing their own ghetto RnD. We should not validate this behavior.

Vaurca will not be recieving night vision unless it is packaged in with a general darkvision incorporation. Until that point, they will have to deal with the same issue that Tajara have been dealing with since forever.

Read the post - this suggestion is intended only for Xenos, as in xenomorphs. Xenomorph night vision should be easy enough to do.

This application's backstory is somewhat lackluster. I'd like to see some significant expansion. -
