NanoTrasen is a corporation, first and foremost, and bad PR is bad for business. I'm Not sure if this allowed, but if he was turned down to only very subtly Racist would it make a difference? It wouldn't be too unlikely for him to have to undergo mandatory sensitivity training, if it's as bad as implied, if NanoTrasen would think he has the qualities of a good Head of Staff otherwise.

This is a good application and I'm ready to accept it, on the condition that you age December up to at least the age requirement... but preferably at least a few years, considering her background. For CMOs and RDs, we don't make exceptions to the age limit, primarily to enforce the time needed to get a PhD and get a lot of experience in their field.

Pretty sure you aren't allowed to say that, according to the rules in this subforum. Community members are absolutely allowed to abstain from voting if they haven't seen much of a player, they're just not allowed to -1 for it. They're also encouraged heavily to actually go out and interact with the applicant in question so they can provide a more informed opinion. And there is nothing wrong with providing constructive input on characters-- that's one of the main reasons the voting system, as inefficient as it is, is set up this way currently. (:

I'm all for a change. Personally the emergency lights give me a splitting headache; it'd be better if they got changed to something closer to the fire alarm lights, and slower than they are now. Re: Siren Noooo thanks. Not something continuous. Maybe have the fire alarm or display screens change based on whether or not it's an emergency vs crew transfer shuttle?
