IMO, armour should effect the stuns. IE. Someone with no armour would go down in one hit from a baton, with cult armour and hardsuits it would have to take a few hits. I wouldn't mind some armours completely negating it if it's supposed to be super high tech or literally built for melee.

I still say no. There's no reason to have personal guards when there's security officers about, and you (In the case of the RD, HoP, HoS, and Captain.) have access to weapons. If it's such a concern, you can always find a trusted person to promote to bodyguard and have them get weapons from research to shadow you around.

And yet it's on comms. I imagine the translator would only be able to tell you what they're saying on comms channels that the headset has access to. Anyways, I'd like to see this idea get done.

Good plan but it was literally "Hey, come with me" "No" then violence. Ask Hypatia, unless there was PDA messages going on before hand that is all I was and still currently am aware of. Humans are the most populous and well-armed people out there. It doesn't help that a lot of their factions are dicks and power hungry. Unathi nuked their own homeworld and I assume killed off a lot of their population. Things seem to be going up as they're gaining more power. Tajara are still embroiled in a civil war and essentially stuck on humans for a lot of help. Skrells seem to be doing fine for themselves. Dionae seem happy with what they have. IPCs are extremely varied, but it seems the general consensus is "We don't trust them.". All in all, the other races (Besides the skrells) aren't strong, and humanity (If united) will be able to take them on. Also, the whole "Humanity, Fuck yeah" thing is only good if there's races that ACTUALLY POSE A THREAT.

Can we suggest little lore trivia to add in?

Yeah, this seems pretty power-gamey to me. Also. I was considering telling you to GTFO, but I realized if I was in your shoes, that would be the last thing I would want to happen. You had an idea that I've never really seen done before on this server well.

Uhhh no. There needs to be risks to combat and infections are an important part. It makes no godamn sense. You don't develop a killing infection in 1-2 hours. Also, there's other risks to combat (Breaking limbs, losing limbs, pain, being killed) but our guns are so weak that it takes 3-4 laser rifle shots to kill when it's easier to just stun the guy and bash his head in with a extinguisher.

I'm up for it, but I don't think they need to steal the signatures of people on the station. Would just make it harder to do. Perhaps the device hacks into a corporate database with the contracts and is able to copy their signature through that?

Normally what I do is try to bring in some casual racism, or something that I know would anger people. For example, if a tajara says something boastful while putting someone else down, I could say something like "At least we don't complain about low-paying jobs" and try to let it gradually build from there. Or I just fight people in the holodeck. Or you can just build an actual thunderdome.

Just to add on. Later on in the round you did a one man siege on the nuke ops shuttle and meta'd the use of the syndicate radio to buy C4, and then destroyed the shuttle console.

Classical music is probably your best bet.
